Hustle1: What is your take on UACN? Is the turnaround completed with the improved results of 2023 Q3 and is the upward trend going to continue QonQ from now? I noticed the effects of the new management in the results just before covid and the investments. Fingers crossed! I really don't follow up on this company, but from my technical analysis, the company seems to have been of interest to investors looking at the steady rise in the RSI from 2020. Going by their about 50% free float and the improved result you stated, I'd say its a hold at current levels. *OK so I noticed dividend was slashed by ½ last year. I think the same rate might be proposed. Its your call, trader or investor? |

yMcy56: PZ @35+ Cadbury @31.90 UNILEVER @19.05......how far nah, you self publish one good news wey go catapult you nah. Lol.
Actually, UNILEVER is sitting on one huge cash, N73.8bn, which I don't know how it will translate.....maybe that's the kind of funds @currentprice will call oxygen, I don't know......we needed expert's understanding of this. For UNILEVER a lot of factors to consider: 1. Dropping some product line from the shelf(reduced revenue) 2. Current portfolio of products needs to do commensurate numbers(negative head winds due to fx and subsidy policies) 3. Macroeconomic factors doesn't favour as at now. 4. Expected minimum wage increase by q2 With all these: on the technical end, they just broke out on the monthly chat due to present bull. Do we wait for results or join in on the sentiment? Will this be sustained? Fundamentals don't agree for now. My 1 cent |

seyisanya: There is an African proverb that goes: What an old man can see sitting down, the youth cannot see standing up. If you were in the market around 2006/2007, then you'll better understand your oga's point of view. Remember that in a bull market, everything goes green. You need to remain cautious and never let your guard down. Humility is a virtue! I always counter this particular statement as a member of a rebellious generation with "AI go run am" |

The brewery sector is a cash cow....anyways let me stop, before they say I am pushing people to buy.
DD advised It's safe to say that the "Consumer" goods are already on the floor. Anything below na 6 feet . Generally, this week, with the news and trading pattern, I have observed that these sectors are "fighting back". Won't be bad to position 50% of your allocated sum for this sector. The other 50% after Q1. This one na marathon!! |

Capitas7: So Presco share price is closing in on that of Okomu. Same with market capitalization. I guess one becomes more attractive from the point of view of total annual dividends if all things remain the same as or similar to history.
I had mapped up a plan to continue buying Presco till a target accumulated total is reached, but the current bull took everything to a whole new level. Like someone said: "these are times for reaping and not sowing" |
