Good morning everyone, can someone remind us the implications of hitting buy button today for oando?

Investors risk appetite is about to be put to test whether you are hitting the sell or buy button, fingers crossed.
There's this constant of proportionality that states and I quote; "The more you #@%# around, the more you find out. If you don't #@%# around, you'll never find out." grin

The Greasley bear is the 16.50. You break that wall its all the way to 65 going by TA. But if indeed the leopard still refuse to change spot, 7.07 is the surest reality grin

Unfortunately, most of them don’t and even if they do and the numbers are in complete variance with the seller’s claim they still pay high for it out of desperation.
I would find this hard to believe. It just goes against every fibre of petroleum economics in me. All these wells being bought, especially onshore wells still have an avg of 10years before exhausting its natural lift ability. Perhaps, the companies in question don't have the purse(and other -ve parameters against the oil sector) to drive operations just like Oando who is currently seeking in excess of 700b in investment.
O&G investment especially in Africa are also plagued by the international communities/lenders and their stance against fossil fuels.
This is to buttress the point that nobody overpaid for any reserve.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee: 5:42pm On Oct 03, 2023
Coolcash1:
On the issue of reserves, most of the buyers relied on the seller's in-house reserve estimate and not CPR which by the time they later carried out independent audit of the reserve post-acquisition, it was a different story.
Who buys a reserve without due diligence? That's just business 101 if you ask me.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee:
This would have been a good time for Transcorp O&G to come onstream. I wonder what's holding them? Leaving only Transcorp power to do the heavy lifting.

Delisting or not delisting, if delisting then at what price, 7.07 or less higher. This is the major issue and risk factor sorrounding OANDO at the moment.

You must have been a very fast learner to have learnt how to navigate between Geregu, Transcorp and Dansugar, all within 3 years of being in the market. I want to be like you when I grow up.
Some of us have the gift to quickly assimilate things and processes. But sometimes, it can also be a curse.

Yea that was why I still regrets I never knew about US stocks then, health sector most especially created a lot of millionaires in dollars during that time that was why I said before that is a market where u can invest just $500 and it turns $5000. GOTU got to $100 then. It is well, I pray for such great opportunity of generational wealth transfer again!
That sector was running on mad fuel.
Sadly, these events are not everyday events.

But the challenge is to be able to know ahead the exact order and time in which the stocks will rally, i.e to know which exactly will come after which. If I were blessed with such clairvoyance it will take me only three years on NSE to become a billionaire.
As TOE will say, "every business person needs that piece of luck".

We were all here when Geregu was listed for 100 and even after the AFDB deal that gave a purchase value of 204/240(can't remember) the stock was down hovering around 105/7 for a while, then the talk of dividend pushed it all the way to circa 300.

Was it the Tinubu visit to Tony? After securing a way into the energy sector with the past administration.

Or was it OGG/Loco who gave us those prospects into several coys including Dangsugar until customstreet drove the nail in.

I could remember Mcy telling me how did I miss out on Nacho even after it was served on a platter. At that point(can't recall the month) I think I had bought into Transcorp based on technicals.

Let's just say I was lucky with the timing and overall the markets where on a recovery to pre-buhari era looking at the banking sector and the frenzy of subsidy removal

He should give a tripartite of stocks to traverse now lets see how far
Sorry, the present events and circumstances would only make those risks wild.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee: 11:21am On Sep 26, 2023
One interesting fact this year: if you had simultaneously flipped from Geregu to Transcorp to DangSugar beginning with a capital of 1m, you would be nowhere less than 15m in your trading account today.

.. do you mind to share about the 2020 nostalgia , wetin happen that year with stock ?
In 2020 it was all doom and gloom on the real economy due to the ensuing event, but it was possible to convert a $100 to $10000 on the NYSE.

A 2$ stock goes up to 60$ and back to earth.
It was a wild wave, Moderna, Novavex, OCGN, AMC, Zoom, Palantir. A list of the few I rode on and numerous others that made commensurate banking notes. Wow!

Today, I have good units of shares in OXY, but at an average of 9.4$ with quarterly dividend. Life is mystery!

lol. guys that picked it at N16 few days ago dey use corner corner eyes look at you right now.

Abeg no break people heart with this N8 plan
Whoever picked at 16, its safe to say that they're aware of the surrounding risk associated with Oando and had made plans to average down to the least possible loss position.

this OANDO matter na to dey average down. As e dey go down na to dey buy more.

This is buying opportunity. Not everyone reaches the final destination of a bus. as some dey jump out, some dey jump in.
Prepare to average down at 10 too and possibly 9. I intend to average up at 8 hopefully.

Moved the cash from presco to Dangote sugar @52 since I no fit chase uba which was my target for selling presco yesterday. This particular sugar is for speculation, will sell @70.The one for long-term is BE of #23.
The sell happened late @#210 ....e pain me because I saw the opportunity in uba at #13 with expected final dividend of nothing less than #1.50 by yr end
That UBA line is so long my bid to top-up is not on Morgan list 🤣🤣. Trying to redirect some oil loot.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee: 11:58am On Sep 13, 2023

This is why i dont buy into all these TA.

Yesterday, Dangote sugar failed to hold level 1 (52.25) from your chart but did not deep today, rather na full bid we dey see at this time.

NGX will make TA to become SA (spiritual analysis)

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
No be so. Dangsugar dipped to 51 today. I had a 49 level support on my end for dang sugar after first support failed.
TA analysis helps you know a safe buy or sell range.

The CBN must have approved the interim dividend.
So as it should be. So I'm thinking other yet-to-be-declared dividend will not be what was initially anticipated?

Let's see the figures Access and UBa will push out.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee: 7:35am On Sep 12, 2023
With the new CBN directive, will banks adjust the interim dividend or what? People already booked major profits on them. I perceive more turbulence for that sector.

Zenith bank already on first level support zone @34 , will it hold or kiss 29 before stability?

When the banking sector sneezes, NSE catches a cold. smiley

Tinubu has been globe-trotting for funds. Don't you think investors are looking for juicy long term bond yields??
Just me thinking wild.

Today's red, red oh. Even people panicked on Transcorp? Hmm. Oando unshaken! Tomorrow's another day.
