comos:I can authoritatively say you are not from Benue, simply prove the statement wrong. I have no where stated that I liked the statement or like whoever made it. I only said the truth! I repeat, Ortom is the most useless governor Benue has ever had! It's a shame some of you guys from outside comment on issues you know nothing about. To hell with your APC/ PDP rubbish. Little wonder these same set of politicians use your heads. I see you're totally blinded by sentiments bro. |
White007:Do you know the statement you quoted is true? I don't give a damn about you people's party games but when it comes to Benue please we've had enough of Ortom. He's the worst governor Benue has ever had.... A complete failure and a very very wicked man! |
Big4wig:The day Francis Duru snubbed an elderly man just for asking if he was the actor he sees on TV was the day my respect for him greatly reduced. Papa felt highly embarrassed. Na so dem de form celebrity? Now to the topic..... good movement anyway. |
Born2Breed:you people should stop this careless online display of delicious soup abeg. I don't know about you, I don't know your condition, your name, where you come from or any other details about you, but be aware that I just woke up from sleep and I'm very hungry. Oya delete it. |
I'm quite sure 90% of the people commenting here aren't from Benue. Be it APC, PDP, ZZZ or ETC, Ortom has always been a clear definition of failure in most of our eyes. You guys can keep on playing your party sh*t! |
Simi wey I like well well done de join dem so o. |
By definition she isn't a slay queen. How do I know? I know because I don't like slay queens but I like her. |
Nice move by the Indian authorities. Some of us aren't just ready for the internet yet. The division along ethnic/ religious lines it has caused in Nigeria is enough proof. |
Ortom( noun) ; Worst governor ever liveth. |
I have never cared about party, I still don't. All I see are politicians and mostly evil ones at that. I've never cared much about politics, particularly in my state, but for christ's sake Ortom is the most horrible I've ever known. |
Naijawebmaster:exactly my thoughts immediately I saw the picture. |
Reference:The 'loss of lives and terrible insecurity' shouldn't be used as campaign strategy for Ortom. You speak from outside,it hurts us within. Trust me! |
magoo10:It's funny how the majority of Nigerians think. I don't know if its because I have little interest in politics or care less about religious/ tribal sentiments that's why I see the picture clearer. I wonder when it will dawn on you guys that these politicians are only using this 'party thing' to use your heads. Are they not the same crop of people you've known before? Someone that is COMPLETELY incompetent is now seen as 'standing by his people' because of the anti open grazing law, its ok. Yea, I wish we could love him for that and that alone.....but its rather pathetic that the law is now being used as a campaign to reinstall him to that seat. Sadly, the gullible will fall for this just for sentiments sake. I predicted what's happening in Benue( my state) here on nairaland several months ago. Ortom is not who you guys think he is, we have always known him but sadly sentiments have started taking over....so pathetic. |
LazyNairalander:Wait, I really want to know how you guys know if a thread is being pushed to front page. Each time I ask, no one is able to explain. Is there some settings I have not done that I don't get notifications that a topic has been moved to front page? |
Simi sings like a bird... Very sweet voice she has. |
Bolnij2:Most people who give such advise have never been in such relationships. You think its easy for the Op to walk away from the relationship? No! He's probably...... surely going through hell that's why he brought this topic up here. Mark my words, with all the advice he has gotten from here to end it, it will still be very difficult for him to leave. You telling him to stay and endure, that he might not find someone better is never a solution. Your'e making matters worse, trust me! |
urose93:Nice, you spotted her too. |
Some persons argue there's no such thing as a 'Nigerian feminist' , that a feminist is a feminist. She's the definition of a Nigerian feminist - one who just simply disrespects men, claims always to know better than men and always wants to torment men for no just reason at all. I think I spotted one on the first page of this thread. |
SamOyovwi:Foolish talk, so Jesus' apostles were not connected to 'their God' as you put it? They died peacefully in their old age, you think?....God gave you brains but you guys do'nt think. What have you guys turned christianity into? To make mokery of unfurtunate incidences like this one I guess. |
Very good development |
lexoft:Bros, no vex. This joke no enter. E dry. |
wisenewgem:How do you guys know if a post is been moved to front page? Is there a notification I'm not getting as a result of some setting I'm yet to activate? |
912:Hehe, "and I kept it", sounds pretty easy. You're right bro, I've actually changed and I know it, but in cases of depression or suicide, most times we do not know what the victims are/were going through but the general reaction when such mishaps occur is to lebel the victims as being stupid. But then again, my playboy friend is in a relationship with his supposed 'main' girlfriend and he treats her like fowl poo. I look at this girl and in my mind I see how foolish she is for still hanging on to my friend. She has called severally to tell me its over between them, seeking my opinion but always, I contribute nothing. Who does'nt know my friend is a chronic cheat? Yet they both won't let go. She is his main sqeeze after all. See? Now that I'm out I think someone else a fool. They should'nt "keep it". Some of such relationships arent that easy to walk out from. Some persons are fortunate never to have gone through such so it's quite easy giving advice about it. I wish I could tell this girl to leave but I would'nt, never! She's foolish, hehe- see again? Though as guys I've told my friend to let go if he is'nt ready to step up and be a responsible chap for once. Lets hope she does'nt pull a trigger on him some day. Relationships come in different shades and a toxic one is'nt one anyone should wish for anyone.....one love 9one2. |
sisisioge:Yea, its unjustifiable and I still regret that action till date, that I gave her the impression I could beat her up some time is bad enough. At least I should have left with a clean slate but I've also learnt not to make hasty conclussions about issues bordering on this one cos I once was guilty ...... You see? Just like I said, sometimes it's the good guys that are guilty of this crime, that's sad. See as your gentle bobo come fire you slap in the end. Hehe. |
912:Let me tell you a long story. Sometimes you never know how these things happen until it happens to you. I could swear on papa's grave that I'd never raise my hand on a woman but unfortunately I once did! I would'nt put the blame on alchohol cos I was fully conscious of my action, I had downed just a bottle. We had known each other when we were still very young. It was one hell of a relationship that I made several attempts to leave but I could'nt, she would'nt let me- yes, I was so soft hearted that I forgave her for every crap she did whenever she came back. She was like a demond sent to torment me to death, extremely beautiful she was, very very pretty, not just in my eyes. Maybe that was what blinded me. At that moment it happened, even as I raised my hand in an attempt to give her a very dirty slap, I realized when my open palm was mid-way to her face that I had messed up big time so I tried to hold back and ended up pushing her face a little. We were both shocked! I apologized IMMIDIATELY and left the scene. That night, knowing what I had done, the intent alone was killing me, so in my misery I sent her a text that we could no longer be together, but instead she came back two days later begging again! After some thoughts I forgave her but the next three weeks after that event was like hell, it was like she turned up her evil volume to the max. Anyway, we broke up when I went to see her but met her absence. She had requested some cash to go to the hospital that she was feeling a bit under the weather but little did I know she needed the money for transport to Lagos to go meet some big guy who claimed he loved her ( I knew about this guy) and wanted to marry her. I called her, she told me the details bluntly and as I ended the call, I never called again, neither did she. To cut the long story short, between them there was an introduction, an engagement but the marriage did not hold. That was about three years ago. Until today as I type she's still trying hard to find a way to get back to me but that fence I built while she was away cannot be pulled down anymore. Do not judge cos you might be in the same situation some day. Im not justifying wife beating but sometimes it might be a mistake that warrants forgiveness, perhaps just once as the OP suggests.Sometimes it's even the 'good guys' that end up being wife beaters. Pray you never fall for a pretty lady with a very bad character( I was told most of them have that), I did'nt pen down the uncountable and unthinkable things she did to me here. And pray you never loose your cool. Thanks. |
OH NO, what a way to die! These are mind-blogging stories!
boggling. |
FortifiedCity:This Grace message is making a whole lot of you guys do/say a whole lot of annoying things. You shouldn't condole the families please, the victims and every other victims of accidents aren't under Gods grace according to you after all. |
1StopRudeness:the thing tire me o |
McGg:Honestly, that guy don lost? |
*Quote* But his friends and loved ones who are currently mourning him of Facebook, said he was sound and healthy............. *Unquote* ..... but our Nairaland Doctor sees somethinga else!!
There aren't glaring symptoms for say- hypertension most times, you just slump and that's it. Most "healthy" people walking the streets are hypertensive but they just don't know. Check your BP regularly. Our 'Nairaland doctor ' might be right. |
Psoul:looking at his comment critically, I don't think he means what you think he means. Anyway I will not speak for him. |
Sad, she was 36 , he was 31.....age is nothing but a number they say. |
