Firstly, I am from Benue state, This is the umpteenth time I am stating that, secondly, you can't say my opinion is biased because of religious or ethnic sentiments. Again, for the umpteenth time, I lived in Kaduna for 24 years, I know the north more than most people. While I agree the governor is a failure, he is a reflection of the president. I am not aligned to any party, my opinion is that we get the better of two evils, and as far as I am concerned, Buhari has done more evil to the economy and its people than Atiku has done.

If someone else with reputable character were fronted under the auspicies of the PDP, the major opposition party to unseat the incumbent , I would have thrown full support, but why Atiku all of a sudden? I can bet about 90% of you guys supporting him never saw him as an option before the primaries. There was this guy here on NL who before now was always campaigning for Atiku, almost every one saw him as a joker. What changed? Because he became the PDP candidate he became a better option? What if he had come under a not so popular party like the numerous ones we have today, would you guys have shown support for him? I guess not. I look beyond Party. How did you guys handle it? We never heard you guys crying and praying for Benue as much as you did now and we know why. Ortom is a clear definition of failure who just kept feeding us with fulani this and that for complete four years while doing nothing! You hate Buhari and I can never give you a reason to like him, it's your opinion and I respect it. So also we hate Ortom who think we do not know the fulani / herder crisis has always been and may always be our problem if a lasting solution is not found. You've said it all. Majority of us living in Benue know that Ortom is a con. People who like him are mostly people living outside the state who don't know the devil of a man he is. As a matter of fact, he's the worst governor we've ever had, I'm not joking.

Op....I understand your plight as i have been in your shoes before...you realize you have a really nice girl with all the rare admirable qualities you want in a woman and you’re scared if you lose her you’ll end up regretting for the rest of your life because you wont find someone like her but on the other hand you feel you aren’t attracted to her and this is because of some of her attributes... probably you love tall girls and she’s short or you love chubby girls ans she’s slim or fair girls and she’s dark or vise versa.... if there’s something you dont like about her....tell her. See there’s nothing that beats COMMUNICATION in a relationship... let her know whatever you feel you dont like about her and watch her change...she loves you enough to change and become perfect for you...give her the support she needs during this process....and if you feel there’s pressure on you or you feel you aren’t financially stable yet to get married or something...talk to her about it also...tell her what is going on with you...that’s why she’s there for you.
Another thing is you need to work on yourself also...focus more what what you love about her...make sacrifices for her...treat her better...talk and see her for often...once she’s happy...you’d realize you’d be happy too....
Start seeing yourself has blessed....start seeing yourself as lucky....start seeing yourself as rich...you need to start realizing you have something other niggas wish ... pray and fast for... start treating her better because you still fave more difficult times in life and this is the kind of girl you need by your side at those times...she’ll give you or the support and advice you need and still give you enough respect to make you feel as the man.

I had a slay queen for a girlfriend over so many years, there was absolutely nothing good about her except for her looks. I met a girl with just about the attributes of that of the Op after we broke up. She was everything good except for what quality I don't even know that she lacks, maybe because she wasn't as attractive as my ex? Who knows? it took me time to really adjust. The irony of this 2019 presidential elections is that over 90% of the attacks, squibbles and arguments between buhari and atiku's supporters on social media is done by southerners (yorubas and igbos). While northerners are just observing from afar.

Buhari and atiku are both from the north, both are fulani and Muslims. Whether buhari or Atiku wins the 2019 presidential election, the north still retains the presidency. We have alot of northerners online even here on Nairaland, but you will barely see them see them engaged in this unnecessary dance of shame going on between southerners here.
