Foreign AffairsRe: Zimbabweans Thank Nigerians And Sahara Reporters For Thrashing President Mugabe by ZIMDRILL(m): 3:09pm On Jun 11, 2015
pkjag:
I am not an expert on Zimbabwe but I hear lots of conspiracies. First of all it's not that easy for Mugabe to come out of power. I hear that the military want him to stay put, they don't trust anyone else to keep it together like he has. Mugabe did one thing no one else in Africa can afford to, he destroyed western influence at the expense of the economy, Mugabe was a very smart guy back then and maybe he thought that he could count on South Africa and maybe other countries would follow his example thereby establishing a self-reliant continent that maybe relied on itself and on the east.

The IMF place Zimbabwe's unemployment rate to be 90%, I mean how the fvck is that possible, we all know it's not, how that country is still surviving, I don't know because it should be the poorest in Africa and yet it isn't. That is the western global PR machine at work, it works to discourage Zimbabweans to be so hopeless as to cross the border into South Africa.

That is why we need people like him in this digital generation, people who are comfortable finding solutions for african problems by not relying on the west. People who are so proud of being african that they are willing to suffer at the hands of the west in order to propagate their ideology. It is very sad that we don't have people like that especially the young who only dream of becoming rich.
this why the number of unemployment is put at round 90%

http://www.herald.co.zw/harare-and-its-vendors-what-is-a-city-but-people/

very few people are employed 75-80% are self employed

http://www.herald.co.zw/its-vendor-vs-vendor-in-harare/

thats what the city of harare now looks like and people try to survive by selling things

some factories cant even operate because of daily cuts of electricity and its even worse on the second city bulawayo as half of the factories have closed

Car TalkRe: Why Do Nigeria Car Dealers Avoid Displaying VIN Information by ZIMDRILL(m): 7:44pm On Jun 06, 2015
domack99:
Its always a very rare occasion that you see a car being advertised and the VIN information is provided especially Tokumbo cars, even dealers that are believe to be professional and corporate and have gain the trust of the public avoid displaying VIN information on their website. Also on popular Nigeria car advertising websites Nigeria dealers avoid VIN information while putting other details. This is not so when you log on similar websites abroad, VIN information are ready available

I spoke to few dealers and what usually come out as their final word is "Nigerians don't like the truth". So is this a good reason to avoid displaying VIN?
which show room have been and seen a car a with price and other details and then VIN ?

VIN number is the last thing you would ask for, this is when you final make your mind to buy and thats when you ask for the vehicle's book and check the details on the book and check if they match and this would be now the VIN number (colour and number plate: for us people in uk)

so when putting an advert you dont need to put the VIN number, VIN number can be abused imagine you have put your VIN in public and someone can copy it and put it on a stolen car

i guess a VIN number can be like your passport number, you would put in public a copy of it can made using its number and the only difference might be the face and date of birth but the number would be actually in the system

Why don't you give us the figures, how much does it cost the british tax payer to keep her as head of Government?

*Elizabeth is also the world's biggest "landlord". Since we are in the season of change, why doesn't give up all of that land she owns across the world?

I guess you are Zimbabwean based on your username, the same mugabe who was knighted by the queen in 1994 when he had already spent 14 years in power is now some sort of plague they(west) now avoid.

Ohhhh........ western hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.
you ran away from the history lesson before they finished teaching the history of the british empire the queen doesnt own the land across the world, she just the head of the common worth world aka (former states) a ceremonial post

as how much it costs who cares especially you and me we are non british, if the british start to complain on how much they spend on keeping her then we say they have an issue with their monarch as for now they aint complaining so why should you worry about them ?

yes they knighted him for that period he had a good understanding with them, were they suspposed to predict the future and not knight him because he will turn against one of the ruling government ?

The Telegraph.co.uk should ask the Queen of the United Kingdom and
the other Commonwealth realms to step down. Elizabeth II has been in power since 1952, and a queen of 16 of the 53 commonwealth nations. She is not even a cold war era gerontocrat she is a World war II gerontocrat.

When would she accept change and step down?

Angela Merkel is also doing her 3rd term in office, is she the owner of Germany, is Germany her personal estate.

Disgruntled brits angry about land reform in Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe, go on with land reform, take away every inch of land from minority whites, it is stolen land, it isn't theirs.
i can see that you dont know how the british system works, the queen is just a ceremonial head, how many prime ministers have ruled UK ever since she took over the reign ? and those prime ministers were voted for even if she doesnt like the winner she can not changed what the voters have voted for

first thing first we need to know the reason why you used the condom at first, was it your contraceptive method or preventive method to diseases sexual transmitted

if it was your contraceptive method then whats the new one you are using now nice you are nolonger using the condom, i see an unplanned child on the way, then if it was a preventive method, was the decision made after a test or that most human being nature of using the condom the first few days and after being used to each other we let down our gaurds and stop using the condom all together

the issue is not about your girlfriend not liking the condom but you protecting yourself from unplanned kids and sexual dieseases

Siena 1999 fuel tank capacity is 21 gallons i.e 79 liters .MPG is 19 regular ie 7.9 km/l ,therefore 10 liters will cover approximately 79 km if the car is still at factory performance ,and combine city and highway driving (not lock down Lagos traffic jam condition )
(10 liters will cover approximately 79 km) thats a half baked statement because it depends with speed you are travelling at eg 10 litres wont cover 79km when am doing 60kph

Two things could be involved. Its either the air filter whch can be found in the pigeon hole is very very dusty thus not allowing full passage of air from the compressor into the car tru the vents or the gas in the compressor is low. Tell ur AC mechanic to bring out the air filter and blow d dirt out or if its bad u change it.
the 1st one is wrong how can be the filter be dirty to the point of not let in cold air ? funny enough it let in hot air

the other one of low gas might be the cause

there is no risky at all as long there is that anti slip pedal rubber cover

here in uk it an MOT failer (roadworthy certificate fail ) if that cover is worn out

as long you are seated comfortably and being able to reach the pedals nicely it would be fine, this would be the with non worn out pedal cover

if the cover is not there the chance are high that your foot might slip

Thanks chief.

My car engine sound is now high. Its working as if its loaded. Like when you add load on generator. That sound.

My engine was always cool. You dont here any sound from it. Now i can hear sound.
ok

the car's revs are high due to the fact that the thermostat was removed so the ECU is getting the reading from the temperature sensor that the engine is cold, so the ECU is adding more fuel so that the engine temperature will raise to the desired temperature

since your thermostat is missing the temperature will never go to the desired operating temperature this is what we call ENGINE RUNNING COLD becoz the temperature will never reach the car's manufacture operating temperature

I had this problem. It happened in one crazy traffic, my radiator just busted open and the water escaped.

My mechanic sealed my radiator. Reset the engine, and my car started again.

1 week later, the heat meter started reading to red (meaning its over heating)

I called another mechanic who recommended I should buy a double cell radiator.

he removed the thermostat.

My car is working fine now.

However, he said I should not use AC for now, that I should change my radiator fan. he claimed the radiator fan is not strong enough.

How true is this?

And also, I noticed that my engine is now high. Why is this? Is any harm in this?

I love this thread. Its about my car.
when your radaitor burst, you meant to do a pressure test after mending it then also bleed the system to take of air bubbles aslong there is air bubbles in the cooling system the car overheats your did either the mending was not done properly or the system was never bleed

since the thermo was removed your car is running cold

Run your ac as normal dont change the fan

as for engine being HIGH i dont know what you mean
Car TalkRe: The Reason Why That Your Tokunbo Car Keeps Overheating Here In Nigeria by ZIMDRILL(m): 10:07am On May 15, 2015
have ever asked yourself the main causes of overheating?

the main list is

1 failed thermostat stuck shut i.e it wont open to let cold coolant from radiator
2 failed water pump even when the thermostat open there is no enough force to mix the cold coolant from radiator and the hot
coolant from the engine and force the hot coolant to the radiator for cooling
3 failed temperature sensor, it wont trigger the radiator fun to run especially when stuck in traffic due to the fact that no air is being forced into the radiator grill, this process happenswhen driving eg at 15mph and above (no need for the fun to kick since its work is done by the speed of the car driving above 15mph)
4 leaking radiator
5 leaking water pump
6 ignorant of the owner not checking water levels etc
7 not reading the manual and following hearsay, from my observation some people here some thought that if the temperature gauge is at half mark its over heating due to the fact that they have seen car that has thermo stripped and constant run fan and the temperature is always on the qauter mark

operating temperature of car should be between 89 and 100 and it doesnt matter whether its in alaska, namib, kalahari, sahara, iceland, north pole

the 4 things thermo, temperature sensor, fan and radiator work together in maintaining the desired temperature

remember for the radiator to cool the coolant it needs one thing air but what differ is how the air is being delivered to it, it either by the movement of the car 15/20 mph speed or by the fan running so with or without a double cell radiator if any of the two delivery system are not effiecent coolant wont be cooled in enough and when the thermostat opens the coolant from the radiator would be still hot therefore engine temperature remains high

we are saying the same thing but you are missing my point which is those big craft they get customised whereas the traditional private jets are made like that straight from manufacturer
Car TalkRe: Top 5 Most Expensive Private Jets (pictures) by ZIMDRILL(m): 10:16pm On Apr 18, 2015
i think you mixed different types of aircraft there

why would you put a being 747 and airbus A380

most private jets are smaller compared to those two above and i think the many reason they also kept them smaller is that can land to small airport and strips which can be private owned and advantage for those who still need to away from public

the 747 and A380 or any other big aircrafts are configured to be business jets whereas Gulfstreams, Learjets, Cessnas etc are made specifically for that

Using Dino oil is not a crime for old and high mileage cars. In fact synthetic oil is not recommended for high mileage cars. Dino oil degrades faster than synthetic hence the reason for 3-4 months change interval.
#

you are missing the point

am saying why would you buy oil that you have to change every 3 months

12/2 = 4

4 x the oil price = ? (am sure that the total is eqaul or more than the price of good genuine oil that will last 12 months or mileage stated by manufacturer)

i expect him to use the recommended oil or any other oil which is fake

there is no point to shoot yourself in the arm i.e every 3 months change of oil and here we are not talking of public transport vehicle

I said "assuming" oh.

Besides your oil change intervals could be as long as 3months depending on the kind of oil and how the car is used.
no no no

it doesnt matter with kind of oil

if its oil that you can change after 3 months then why trust oil that you change after 3 months when on average manufacturer always say 1 year to 1 and half years or average 7 -10000miles

it simply tells you that the oil is rubbish qaulity why dont you buy better one from well know quality oil suppliers

ask yourself why would by such oil ? you are just doing more harm to your car than good either go got manufacturer's oil or well known genuine brands like mobil, castrol, shell etc

all converted cars run on both gas and petrol/diesel

I need experience contribution.
I own a 2004 model Toyota 4runner. The vsc track and vsc off LED has been on my dash board for over a year. It didn't bother me as it didn't affect d smooth operation of the vehicle. However, I recently had my check engine light, abs and brake light LEDs on. I took the car to mandilas but the quoted replacement cost for a new abs made me to seek alternative solution elsewhere.
At Ladipo, I was introduced to an 'abs expert' who replaced my abs pump with another toks and everything went well for about four months except that the vsc track/off still remain on my dash board.
Just yesterday, I noticed that upon depressing my brake pedal, there is a release of air/breeze and you could hear it as when the vulcanizer is pumping your tyres. Just this morning, the abs and brake LEDs came on making the brake pedal very stiff to press. I put a raking call to my abs expert who advised that I changed the entire abs unit just as adviced by mandilas. While I am at a cross BTW mandilas almost 400k replacement cost and my expert 65k Toks option, I will need expert opinion and experienced users contribution on the best and lasting solution.
How do I rid my dash board of these vsc track and vsc off lights?
Many thanks
poor you ABS needs scanning you dont change anything before scanning

when ABS shows it meaning something wrong with either the 4 sensors, each from a wheel if one is faulty you get such sign

so changing the pump without checking which part is sending the wrong signal is solving the problem blindly

the vsc is also linked to the abs system

since you smell the burnt to me its very simple

google a toyota dealer around you or near you go there with car details and you buy the manufacturer's oil

i assume that the car is still changing gears very well

how to flush? lets say your gear box takes 3 litres, you mind buy 6 or 9 litres and you drain the old oil and put fresh one and then drive for a day then drain again and put fresh one (based on 6 litre) on 9 litre you flush 2 times

the rest is left to you whether you pocket is deep enough to even by from manufacturer
