Chijeep:PLEASE READ MY COMMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU RESPOND. I AM NOT A CARD-CARRYING MEMBER OF ANY POLITICAL LEADER AND NEITHER PDP NOR APC HAVE MY SYMPATHY. BOTH PARTIES HAVE FAILED NIGERIANS REPEATEDLY. |
This man thoroughly lacks shame. He sits among performing Heads of States and still found his voice to deliver a speech! The NASS takes the blame for not impeaching him long ago. |
Chijeep:Remember to name Obasanjo Atiku Jonathan PDP ACN and APC. Corruption is at the root of it all. |
Their children learnt little from them in terms of marital fidelity and the sacrifices required to maintain a family . |
Shameless Money mongers. They are after what they get from the campaign funds. |
The Ambassador promptly files her report to Washington! |
Omooba77:He must go beyond rhetoric. NASS had failed when state police was not agreed upon. |
adenigga:Sound judgment methinks. Like Bode George he should be content with pursuing his appeal in the hope of clearing his name. |
Louder please! |
Atiku! You!! Your records when it was your call to privatise state owned outfits is shambolic and calculated to defraud Nigeria. You will do well to tell us the good it all brought to Nigeria. Your trajectory speaks volumes about what lies in store for anyone who chooses to join hands with you. The fellow soils his hands!!! |
GUNITGuy:That is not disrespectful Sir. That way you will live longer as a man, husband and father. Your legacy is sure to be great long after you are gone. Fact check the lives of men who lived well all round. |
StilmaVsBorn2w:You live in yesterday Sir. There is absolutely nothing wrong or sinister about that. What you see playing out in their relationship is love. It does not take away from the fact that the husband is the head of the wife. To run errands for your wife solidifies your position as head and earns the respect of all members of the family even more.If you cannot put up with their lifestyle it will be best for you to interact less with them for obvious reasons. |
iwaeda:You made this sound like Akinkunmi Adesina of Afdb spoke! Won’t click if I knew it was Adesina the journalist after the order of Reuben Abati who just arose just to launder his battered professional and battered image. Unfortunately, since it is not watered by reading most Nigerians have a short memory. |
Exactly why courts should refrain from making orders that might be in vain as in the present situation. It is simply impossible to carry out wishing the lifespan of the interim order as it ends up granting the claims of the FG without a trial on the merits. The judicial reasoning here is faulty. |
Fuckyoumod:No. I am talking about what is doable in the long run and within the confines of the law. What you have now is more like a stop-gap. It’s a kick-and-start measure that won’t guarantee the much sought after peace and stability in the public university system. |
tuzle:Exactly why courts should refrain from making orders that might be in vain as in the present situation. It is simply impossible to carry out wishing the lifespan of the order as it ends up granting the claims of the FG without a trial on the merits. The judicial reasoning here is faulty. |
Once again, another poor and needless deployment of Interim Order! Where is the urgent situation to be saved by the interim order when the “damage” is already done with an entire academic session wiped off the academic calendar of our universities? Best to have an accelerated hearing that puts parties and their Counsels on their toes so justice can be done to meet the facts and situation of the Suit. The futility of making an order that might be difficult to carry out is exactly why courts should refrain from making orders that might be in vain as in the present situation. It is simply impossible to carry out within the lifespan of the interim order as it ends up granting the claims of the FG without a trial on the merits. The Fast Track provision in the court rules is exactly the reason the Judge ought not have granted the interlocutory order! The judicial reasoning here is faulty. It puts the court system in a difficult position where it courts disrepute. Much of law sometimes is common sense! Nigerian Judges must wake up and smell the coffee in the acknowledgement of the fact that Nigerians are not dumb! The Judge says it is a judgement according to “national interest”. Judgments ought to be according to Law. See - Mogaji v Odofin. Amazing!! We know a good judgment when one is delivered!! |
LeoDeKing:And God bless SE of Nigeria as well. |
Sitting on that Bench Ariwoola, CJN has, before now, done his duty with uncommon attention to details. One is in the hope he can turn things around in the Judiciary this time around. His predecessor not unlike his own predecessor too messed up the Judiciary. Both men lacked the moral gumption to clean up the Augean stable the Nigerian Judiciary had become over time. Seriously wished Karibi-Whyte JSC made it to that Chair! |
Pitobi will ride into the Presidency in the Keke. Folks will do well to mass mobilise citizens to vote for him. Man to man and house to house as well as community to community drives are needed to get votes in his way. Voter enlightenment as to why he should be President should be heightened. |
She-male. |
Buzzapper:A very poor choice! In his chosen transgender state all he has max to transit on earth is plus or minus 100 years and he dies. Dying in his present state he goes to an eternity in hell! Very poor choice indeed! |
God1000:Even if Uncle Bidini wanted to sit elsewhere that was impossible. In such events you sit where you are led to! There is very little difference between The Trumpet and The Dinosaur from Kogi State! |
Lawan the overfed toad is out. Just expanding his frame he might burst any moment! |
This world class expose! |
Very mannerless and ill brought up! He could say that even more clearly, in better language. |
tofolo:By what? |
Clearly racist. He didn’t have his hand gloves on! |
Bluntemperor:A concept that has been identified over the decades as desirable in enhancing good governance is known as “development from below”. It means that development in a society is best done when it starts from the smallest unit of governance and politics. That should be the Wards, Council, et al. Better to do more at that level. |
seguntijan:We can do better by greatly replicating their numbers even within LCDAs and especially within the inner city areas where they are most needed for obvious reasons. Folks in the inner city areas live in overcrowded housing where social amenities are rarely not available and poverty is prevalent with poor nutrition opening them up to sicknesses and diseases. |
Misguided elementary LovePeddler! When death comes for you termites will be waiting to treat with your invitation. Repent or perish. There is no third option. Come to Jesus now and live decently both now and forever. |
