We must keep advocating until the people listen and decide to vote right even in the face of prevalent hunger so they can have a pleasant tomorrow. The wicked politicians are pleased to have a bag of rice as expensive as n45k so it can be beyond the ordinary Nigerian by 2023 when they hope to have him vote in their corrupt Atiku and Tinubu using packaged expired rice inducements! Tinubu’s personal bungalow painted yellow sits on a street in Iragbiji, Osun State yet he claims to be indigenous to Lagos State. It is perfectly legal and should not take away from him to truly state where he hails from and thank God for the life of his adopted Mum and other members of adopted family with whom he chooses to publicly identify but why lie and be deceptive about it!

This Lawyer! The other day the spillover of SE palaver had him kidnapped in the SS only for him to be released by the sheer mercies of God and he says this outside the courtroom! Release Kanu and he runs away abroad from where he will be abusing Nigeria and labelling the country a zoo! He still has a pending criminal proceedings before Justice Nyako from where he previously jumped bail. When a person jumps bail he is rearrested wherever found! Court of appeal has held he was wrongly brought to Nigeria. Nigeria will do well to now release him and return him to Kenya where upon the complaint of jumping bail in Nigeria he will be arrested and properly extradited to Nigeria. The court of appeal did justice according to Law. Pyrrhic victory!!

Revolva:
A video has been shared showing the moment Rico Swavey was left unattended in a hospital while healthcare attendants allegedly filmed and laughed.

In the video, Rico is seen lying unattended, while surrounded by medics.

One hospital staff is heard telling her colleagues to join her in carrying him inside. However, the colleagues were in no hurry to help.

A voice is then heard warning the medics to stop making videos and attend to Rico.

Sadly, Rico, who was involved in an accident on Tuesday, October 11, died today, October 13.

Following his death, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to slam the medics for lack of professionalism.

See the video below.

Folks deceiving themselves with the thoughts that a person who lived his life in pieces will rest in peace! Laughable!! WE must all repent and live righteous to finish well. However, as they say, it’s a free world! Everyone’s baggage is waiting to be collected at the entry point to eternity. We all will bear them either to heaven or hell! Repent or Perish- no third option is available! Jesus loves you!

Dangote is a rogue!
Anyone who vigorously defends Dangote this way is either too young to know much about his history or is a desperate pro establishment personality. Nobody hates him because he's Dangote. Folks are just tired of his method! about He deliberately corners every important economic sector in the country through crude and corrupt utilization of his connections with his dubious friends in power. The wayward destruction of competitors through the same tactics is anti business. A business man that desperately tries to operate as a monopoly in a struggling economy, using the help of his friends in power to achieve such status, is too dangerous for that society. Now, explain to us why a bag of cement produced at kogi state, sells cheaper as Kano state!?
Listen, it is the collective duty of the Federal Government and the NASS as well as the private sector such as M.A.N. including but not limited to Dangote’s competitors in all the spheres he invests in to push for and see executed antitrust laws to free the investment space for others to thrive. Dangote cannot be blamed for pushing his business interests within the legal playing field.

And the larger populace connived and condoned that! Generally speaking, South Southerners are largely extravagant and wasteful in their lifestyle and not as hardworking and industrious as required of a forward looking society. The other day EFCC went for Ibori so he can answer the allegations of corruption he is saddled with but the entirety of Oghara where he hails from would have none of that and the agents of State beat a wise retreat. Go take a look at the supposed Oghara Stadium, Asaba Airport, Niger Delta University e.t.c. built by the Delta State Government and you will see how bleak the future is for South Southerners. Corruption is the name of the game!

As far as I'm concerned, dangote is now a big problem to Nigeria.
His insatiable thirst for endless acquisition is no more a sign of a fervent capitalist., It's now a sign of a primitive oligarch. This country has to deal with the Dangote madness before it can move forward.
What madness? Dangote strives day and night to drive investment in Nigeria and you are here posturing this way! What stops others from taking the risks Dangote takes daily. The top is for folks bold, courageous and proactive enough take productive risks. No doubt such folks will be hated. No one contends with a man who is not in contention for attention.
Skewed documentary! What development plan does the Kogi State Government have and are executing in the Obajana community? Is it not the case that the boreholes supposedly dug by the government were badly done no thanks to corruption? Where are the drains dug by the Kogi State Government? Is an investor supposed to be saddled with the duties of the Kogi State Government to its citizens who also pay taxes just as Dangote does? How much of the taxes received by the Kogi State Government from Dangote is plowed into the Obajana Community to provide the needed public infrastructure? See, I grew up in that axis of what is today known as Kogi State and I can tell firsthand that life is hard in that place as the sun shines there! Ghostly, dusty and ominously dry settlements most of the communities are! Ijumu, Bunu, Isanlu, Mopa et al. Interestingly that is the axis Dino Melaye hails from. Quite sad!
The respondents in that documentary are largely ignorant of their rights domiciled with the Kogi State Government who received taxes from Dangote and do little or nothing worthwhile with it in the Obajana community. Let the books be opened and the people will throw rotten eggs at the convoy of the State Governor!

Exactly! The Governor is grossly lacking in performance in Office as Kogi State Governor. He has very little to show for his stay in Office. Surely, he is out for something from Dangote. He will get something but not what he bargained for. Cash Aliko will play the game with him!

Politics › Re: Buhari's Footprints On Waterways - By Femi Adesina by zoedew: 3:34pm On Oct 09, 2022
presidency:
It’s an oxymoron, isn’t it? You can’t physically see footprints on water, but then, that’s what President Muhammadu Buhari has done with the country’s waterways. He has planted his footprints on them, and they are some of the things that will stand him in good stead as he exits May 29, next year.

Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Chief (Dr) George Moghalu, was our guest at the 52nd edition of the weekly State House Press Briefing last week, and what an eye opener it was. It’s not only in infrastructure, security, anti-corruption, economic diversification, and the like, that President Buhari is making waves, he’s also doing so on water. Inland Waterways.

Moghalu is the third Chief Executive of NIWA under this administration. First was Mr Boss Mustapha, who proceeded to become Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) from the position. Next was Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, who also got appointed Minister of State for Health, and is now substantive Minister at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Then came the incumbent, and between them all, under the inspiration of the President, they have generated benign waves at our inland waterways.

What is today known as NIWA began in 1957 under the colonial government as a department under the Federal Ministry of Transport. In 1997, it metamorphosed into NIWA, and commenced operations in 1998.

The statutory functions include; to improve and develop inland waterways for navigation, development of infrastructural facilities for national inland waterways connectivity with the economic centers using river ports as nodal points for inter-modal exchanges, among others.

What imprints have now been made on the sands of time (or rather, the waters of time, if you like) under the Buhari administration? Many, and many more, as recounted by Moghalu.

These include provision of ports and jetties at terminal facilities round the country, acquisition of dredgers, maintenance dredging of major rivers, including the majestic River Niger, partnership with the private sector on channel management, regular hydrographic surveys of waterways for safe navigation, wrecks removal master plan, supply and installation of navigational aids in all the dredged priority routes, provision of river guide to enable safe navigation within the inland waterways.

Others are; improvement of fleet capacity such as tugboats, passenger ferries, houseboats, patrol boats, barges, ambulances etc. There is also establishment of search and rescue coordination centers to promptly respond to emergencies, enforcement of navigational laws, improvement of the capacity of NIWA Police and other security agencies to provide security along the waterways, training and certification of boat captains, and many others.

Moghalu sourced the achievements to encouragement by President Buhari, who would not just give you an assignment, but also give you the wherewithal and freedom to work. All he wants are results. Simple.

You can see infrastructural projects in bold relief. Roads, you see, same for bridges, airports, rail network, and others. But when you sail on waterways, you may not know that quiet background work has been done to make your voyage safe. That is what NIWA does, and that is the support the President gives.

Accomplishments between 2015 and now constitute a very long list. Just a little more of them: shore protection works at Marine Base Waterfront, Asaba, Delta State, Ndoni Waterfront in Rivers State, maintenance dredging of River Niger, River Nun, and other major rivers, extension of jetty landing platforms, installation of Anchorage on River Niger to improve the berthing facility at Lokoja jetty, buoying of River Niger from Baro to Lokoja, to Onitsha, and to Warri. The list is really as long as a bailiff’s papers.

For the now and immediate future, strategic initiatives by NIWA include expansion of infrastructure, purchase of modern river crafts, recruiting of technical staff, strengthening of the Police Command, functioning of ports at optimal capacity, and many others.

Some people work with all body movement and pyrotechnics, some others work quietly, unobtrusively. President Buhari is of the latter mould. Without fanfare, devoid of noise, he built the Second River Niger Bridge. The Loko-Oweto Bridge. Bodo-Bonny bridges and road. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Rail networks. Airports. He utilized and made our inland waterways more effective and efficient. Plus many more. Won’t good people miss him when he breasts the tape? This quiet performer. We will sure do. But we are delighted that he has done his best for Nigeria, despite distractions from all fronts.

This picture symbolises the abysmal failure that President Buhari has been for close to eight years now that he has been the Head of State of Nigeria.
Most, if not all of the females in the abducted lot have been badly, brutally and repeatedly raped by the abductors. I was moved to tears seeing the video of one of them who, once outside Nigeria, bitterly swore NEVER to return! Not after the harrowing experience made worse by the fact that it signalled the failure of government. She said she was repeatedly raped by the abductors! Shameful for Buhari whose place in the hall of infamy is now occupied given his gross failure to provide sound leadership as Nigerian President.
President Buhari failed to ensure the security of the Nigerian realm. That is his first duty under the Nigerian Constitution. His campaign was hinged on the provision of security. He has not delivered.
Truly showed his lack of capacity to govern successfully and deliver militarily. It puts the lie to his claims to truly be an Army General!
Nigerians should not vote another APC Government into power in the next Presidential elections in 2023 whether Muslim-Muslim ticket or not!

Ojukwu is standing trial for Ataga’s murder before the court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos Island.

She is also charged with stealing and forgery alongside her sister, Chioma Egbuchu, and one Adedapo Quadri.

In the audio recording, the court heard Ojukwu saying hello while Mohammed also responded by saying hello, who is this?
