The Nigerian judicial system is extremely slow.
Not all cases should make it to the court room to avoid over stretching of judges.

In some countries, a case is first discussed in house between the concerned parties and the judge to see if an amicable resolution can be met without having to go through the processes of a court proceeding.

This way, the judges would not get stretched and won't have to adjourn cases for so long.

Judges have control over their dockets. All that Judge needed to do is to schedule cases before her in a manner that would afford the time to conclude the matter expeditiously. The Judge fall my hand big time.
