Not a satisfactory answer. Obi is in the long run a beneficiary. Atiku and Obi are out to enrich their friends! That will not be in our collective best interest.

All that Atiku is talking about is aimed at enriching his friends and that is not in our collective interest!

Nigeria is suffused with so-called “development plans” (Vision 2010, Vision 20/20, NEEDS, Transformation Agenda, ERGP, etc.), so pardon me if I am less impressed with theoretical plans than actually seeing a Governor that not only delivers projects but seems to understand the essence of governance and the need to develop the requisite capacity to deliver same. Anyway, Nigerians have rarely (if ever) failed to punish success (how relative) while rewarding failure, so not particularly shocked here. I’m sure “political backers” like MC Oloumo are thrilled. I get your drift but it’s about elected public officials recognise that successful tenures in office are the product of political sagacity and sound performance in governance simpliciter! Ambode is terribly low on the former and is not humble enough to be helped. By political backers I meant not folks of the ilk of MC xxxomo!

That is how good governance works. Bring in people that can deliver irrespective of their political stand. I am a die hard fan of Buhari but two people from the former government of Jonathan I wanted him to bring in. Okonjo Iweala and Adesina former minister of Agric. Those two people would have performed excellently well under this administration. But we let our political differences take a ride on us. If Eleka has good things to offer, let him join. But just be careful with him so that he doesn't become another Saraki in your party and work as a mole. I just hope his brother Fayose will not have more sivia pains.

Okonjo and Adesina were done and must move on to their next levels. Adesina for example is making more impact where he is now!

Really? Truth is, the typical Governor does not have to be super smart to succeed. Every State has a development plan and all a typical Governor need do is follow the aspect of the plan that is allied to his focus for the State. Ambode would have performed better had he concentrated on day-to-day governance while leaving the political side of things to his political backers. He cut them off and they switched him off!

Ikeja, Lagos Island and Mainland can have a reprieve. OGUN State IJEBU waterside prosperity loading like before and even better! Good product- good thinking! Wished Ambode didn’t set about his job with the mentality of an Emperor who knows it all!

This Atiku fellow sure loves to swear! The other day he was in America and swore to sell NNPC on becoming the President even if doing so kills him! That oath was the foundation for his statement to enrich his friends when he becomes President. His mission is clear enough to the discerning.
