executive12:But what people say Or think about you when you’re no longer here matters...It usually helps to determine the future of the generations or the people you left behind. This is why, we must try our very best to always do what is right |
This man can’t be compared to Ajimobi... You can say anything about the man, without any doubt, he was not perfect just like all of them (Obasanjo included), but one thing was certain about this man...his people were crazy for him and he was also loved by folks outside Ogun state. I guess, that is the difference between Ogun state and Oyo state people; people from Ogun state tend to support one another, while folks from Oyo state rather step on one another. He was a people’s person, and he would have been a great governor. |
Toke Makinwa and Ramoni Hoshpoppi...same same; 0+0 =0 Advise: GET A JOB! |
It is never too late, may be he will still call Ben later on today. Stupid post! |
It depends on the situation... If a 60 yr old is asking out a 26 yr old, I see nothing wrong if she asks him if he can take care of her. |
longetivity:That’s a big lie! OBJ took over when Nigeria needed an incredible leader the most and when Nigerians all around the country were willing to come together as one. OBJ started very well and surely accomplished a lot, but we must not forget that he fumbled towards the end Of his time in the office. He allowed his ego, greediness and vindictive personality to crumble all he had worked for. He planted a sick president and an incompetent shoeless Vice President, all for his personal interest. Though, eventually things didn’t workout in his favor as planned, however, Goodluck Jonathan became the president and that dug us further into the shiiit hole. Today, Nigeria is still in the process of recovering from Jonathan’s severe leadership failure...And OBJ is clearly responsible. |
Nels55:The main issue during the last presidential election was having no better alternative available. Without a doubt, Buhari was a blind and deaf candidate, while Atiku was a complete barawo from the top to the bottom. So, for this reason, it wasn’t about Buhari at all, but all about a scenario where we couldn’t go forward or backward. I hope Nigerians have learned their lesson by not just settling in for the twin tower thieves (the PDP and the APC)...It is time For Nigerians to give the unknown (another party) the opportunity to rescue this country. How many times are we willing to get fuuucckked by these heartless criminals (PDP and APC)? Enough is enough; Nigerian Lives Matter (NLM)...Nigerians can not be taken for a ride over and over again by the same 3% and their families and friends. We must come together and take control of our lives by rejecting criminals (PDP and APC) that left our country on her knees. |
blackpanthar:A good leather shoe for 10k? For a millionaire? Please don’t do it. Save your money up to 20k and then buy him a tie and a pair of nice socks. And please no letter... Lovely greeting card is perfect. You can write a short note on the card. |
How police, NDDC staff shared N1.5bn as COVID-19 relief package — Senate By The General News - July 9, 20200104 Senate on Thursday revealed how the Interim Management Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission shared the sum of N1.5 billion among staff and the Nigeria Police Force as COVID-19 relief package. National Assembly is currently probing allegation of misappropriation of N40 billion by the NDDC Interim Management Committee. Chairman of the Senate Ad hoc Committee on Investigation of the alleged Financial Recklessness in the NDDC, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, gave the details of how the money was spent at the ongoing investigative public hearing in Abuja. The lawmaker said the sum of N10 million was given to one staff, N7 million each to two staff and N5 million each to three staff. He said N3million each was given to 148 staff, N1.5million each to 175 staff, N1million each to 495 staff, N600,000 each to 464 staff and N475 million to the Nigeria Police to buy face mask and hand sanitisers. But NDDC Acting Managing Director, Kemebradikumo Pondei, said in his response that the monies were given to the staff as COVID-19 relief fund to ease the effect of the pandemic on them. “We have to take care of the staff, who are also the representatives of the people from the nine states of the Niger Delta region,” he said. On the N475 million given to the police to buy face mask and hand sanitisers, he said the Commission received the request from the police high command and the management approved it. He said, “We work very closely with the police. Without them, we can’t work. “A request from the Police high command was made to us and the management looked at it and approved. “We gave the money to Police high command and they have not given us the record of how the money was spent.” http://www.tgnews.com.ng/2020/07/09/how-police-nddc-staff-shared-n1-5bn-as-covid-19-relief-package-senate/ |
This old man is moving around with no face mask or acknowledging social distancing. Nothing is as important as our lives...Not a smart move. |
Kriss216:You may be right brother, but this is the correct move and a sign of a solid leader. I like this new King already...Something tells me that he will do well. |
I think the senate are on drugs... Before making such a bold move, they need to do the assessment of Ajimobi's accomplishments for the 8 years he was in the office and also check with the Oyo state people to see if this is what they want. I just feel that it makes no sense to rename Ibadan airport to the name of a man that couldn't even win his father village during the last senatorial election. Furthermore, majority of the Oyo state people have nothing decent to say about the man....For this reason, it shouldn't be up to Buhari, but up to the Oyo state people that he served as a senator and also as a governor for 8 years. And please do not get carried away with the 2 terms, as it isn't about the quantity (the number of years in power), but all about the quality (what you accomplished when you were in power). If late Bola Ige's name has not been used to replace the airport name, I do not believe that anyone's name in Oyo state deserves to be used to replace the airport name... The senate should allow the man to rest in peace. |
The Senate on Tuesday asked the Federal Government to rename the Ibadan Airport after the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.https://punchng.com/senate-asks-buhari-to-rename-ibadan-airport-after-ajimobi/

The Oniru of Iruland, Oba Omogbolahan Lawal, says he has suspended the palace official who was caught on camera fighting with Tijani Oniru, one of the sons of the immediate past Oniru. Oba Lawal, however, said in a statement by his media office that reports have it that it was Tijani’s men that first attacked his palace officials before they retaliated. The statement read in part, “On Sunday, July 5, 2020, a rather regrettable incident occurred within the Oniru Estate Neighbourhood (close to Millennium Estate gate) which culminated in an altercation between some officials of Oniru’s palace and a group led by Prince Tijani Oniru. “A team of palace officials led by Prince Murisiku Ajasa were allegedly accosted by Prince Tijani Oniru and some other persons. The palace officials were on a routine inspection to supervise the work being done by an inventory and enumeration group. “In the ensuing heated argument, it was alleged that Prince Tijani Oniru slapped the leader of the palace officials who was also alleged to have retaliated. Fortunately, the police quickly intervened to prevent further escalation.” Oba Lawal said he had ordered an investigation into the incident and the conduct of the palace officials. He said he would not tolerate or condone any acts of violence, lawlessness and recourse to self-help. The statement added, “Notwithstanding the provocative affront to the authority of the Oniru and desecration tradition, the Oniru warned palace officials to remain emotionally stable in the discharge of their duties even in the face of provocation. In addition, he sees no reason or excuse for violence in Iruland. “Consequently, kabiyesi has directed the palace administrator to immediately suspend the official involved in the incident pending full investigation. His majesty enjoins all parties to desist from all forms of violence and uphold peace, law and order.” The PUNCH had reported how the crisis between the children of the late Oniru of Iruland, Oba Idowu Abiodun; and his successor, Oba Lawal, had degenerated into violent confrontations. The violence, it was learnt, was over the control of some properties in highbrow Oniru, Eti Osa local government area of Lagos State. The PUNCH had reported that following the installation of Lawal as the 15th Oniru last month, the children of the late king continued to maintain control of some of the properties worth billions of naira. The new king in a statement by his lawyer, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), subsequently asked all banks housing funds belonging to the royal family to immediately freeze all the accounts of the family. The new monarch also called on all tenants and lessees to stop transacting with any individual. It was, however, learnt that the family of the late monarch continued to exercise control over some of the properties, insisting that some of the properties belonged to them and not to the royal family. Tijani Oniru, late Oba Oniru’s son, beaten by new Oba’s security men Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on June 7, 2020, installed Oba Lawal as Oniru amid protests from prominent members of the royal family. The Oniru monarchy is one of the wealthiest in the South-West with massive investments in real estate worth billions of naira. The monarchy also owns British International School, Lekki. One of the ruling houses in Iruland, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Omowumi Abisogun Oniru chieftaincy family, has rejected Oba Lawal, as the new Oniru of Iruland https://punchng.com/oniru-suspends-palace-official-for-fighting-late-obas-son/ |
I guess, as an inlaw, Fatima is saying all the right things to impress her husband’s family; it is true that love is blind, and Fatima too may also be mentally blind. FYI: Makinde has only spent less than 2 yrs as the governor of Oyo state, may be it makes sense to give him a chance to first complete cleanup the mess your father in-law left behind before we judge him. Fatima may also want to focus her attention to her publicly corrupt father who represents everything that is wrong with this country. |
Sakamaje:Because the property is located in a fantastic area of Maryland. Please do your homework. |
dodelight:By the end of summer time, all the people they think are on their side or got their back will gradually drift away; typical Nigerians method of operation. If she wants to remain relevant, she needs to chill out and count her blessings...In politics, there is no permanent power or permanent friends. Just let the man Rest In Peace. |
jarawa:Don’t ask for what you can’t give I am very sorry to say that the Ajimobis were not very nice when they were in power. They wouldn’t do even 5% of all what Makinde went through just to reach out to this family when senator Ajimobi was in the hospital. This family stepped on every single toe that came their way. Now that the senator has been buried, my advise for the family is to simply chill out and allow their father’s/ husband’s soul Rest In Peace. You will never win a war against a sitting Governor, especially when you’re known not to be nice during your time in power... Abdullahi Umar Ganduje vs Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is a perfect case study Everything must come to an end...Let’s try our very best to be kind and always do what is right. |
The clown simply talks too much...He reminds me of a female private part during the monthly activity. |

A very good man... More blessings! |
FullBar:In fact, Majek was so big that Lucky Dube was opening for him |
Genset:The dude sent you the money because it’s a trick that he successfully used on you in the past. I think he knows you more than you know yourself. |
kushe:I admire your courage, but sanity, peace of mind, and healthy life style in a sensible environment are priceless to some folks. I say stick to what works for you. |
amaniro:As long as the estate is in Nigeria, it is nothing but a package of a senseless rubbish. Does it make any sense to live in a million dollar estate, but when it rains your Range Rover has to swim in a muddy water to get home? Every basic things in UK or yankee happens to be a giant deal in Nigeria. Nigeria is the only country where poor people and rich folks are both suffering...but they are both too mentally blind to realize this fact. |
Ernesthugo:Dubai aka (chicken cage). You may be right, but Nigeria remains a package of a big mess; nothing makes sense. |
Snaagg:What are you smoking? 1. Do you have any jobs in Nigeria for these folks? 2. Have you fixed your power supply issues? 3. What about security? 4. Education for their children? 5. Medical system? 6. Air pollution? 7. Infrastructure? 8. What about the useless retardedd leaders and the backward system? Should I continue? I see absolutely nothing exciting to entice these folks to return back to Nigeria. Nigeria is a very big unorganized zoo with a dead end. |
This is very sad indeed; the world has left us behind. But who should we blame? My answer: Every single one of us... not just the leaders |
I’m not sure why folks continue to bother mr President...as majority of the country can hardly understand what the helll the man is talking about majority of the time. Please let him continue to hide is face...He’s not missed |
At this point, I’m not sure why anyone is expecting anything pleasant from this clueless/ lost administration... We don’t have a president...It is that simple. |
Handsomecole:Jails around the world are full of igbos...I guess, they don’t abandon their responsibilities, they just simply enjoy spending time with their other family in jail. |
Rekhina:To be married to one, they must first want you.. I’m not sure if any Yoruba man wants you or your upside down brain |
