Balkan: My people, you don't have a need to join issues with these Yorobbers. The fear of an Ibo man is the begining of wisdom. If the highlighted were true you wouldn't whine about how Lagos landlords are not renting houses to you igboids. And believe me from now on its going to be even more difficult for you. |

abouzaid: @prof corruption, so after seizing foreign owned companies at undervalued costs, u still expect foreign investments to flood into nigeria? Awo was d reason this country never got industrialized. And it seems many choose to forget this on tribal grounds Truth cannot be hidden in this internet age. The European and Asian owners of those companies wept and left the shores of Nigeria. The yorubas that bought those companies, celebrated with new kind of parties later termed OWAMBE party. European government vowed to sabourtage the industrialization of Nigeria because of that Awolowo's narrow minded machination. That's the reason for the past 40yrs ,Nigeria has no real steel company-Ajaokuta and the rest are more or less white Elephants. No single pharmaceutical raw material is produced in this country today. All Nigeria does in all its industries is packaging. At most mixing. That is the gift of yoruba tribalistic wisdom. 1 Like |

demmy: Why are you wasting your time on a certified fool? Are we not living in Nigeria again? Hausa Fulani has shown times without number that if you don't dominate the politics, you don't dominate anything. Nonsense! It takes just a policy to reverse anything. We used policy to defeat them on the war front how much more when there is no raging war. Fasola has even started deporting some of them. spoils of war, take heart. |

van bonattel:you people should always attach a disclaimer to anything IBB says.its a reason he's called maradona. How many times have you seen him being quoted... but you know how desperate Yoruba vultures are for legitimacy. they will always put their paws on anything that will give them a feeling of legitimacy. |

Mr. Globe: Then GOWON and GOWON alone should take responsibilities for tha War . Awo was just a minister, not even a Military officers like OBJ. I have noticed that it is easy for you Ibos to confront the Yorubas than the Hausa/Fulanis. |

Re: Achebe’s Biafra Memoir Stirs Controversy by Nobody: 10:04pm On Oct 06, 2012 |
emmatok: We are accommodating to a fault. can they try the nonsense they are doing in Lagos even on the outskirts of Kano? We are loving, peaceful, tolerant and reasonable. We don't foment trouble and play victim afterwards. We are gentle , unassuming and equally strategic when it matters most. We are not perfect but continues to work towards perfection each and everyday. The world has a lot to learn from us. We show the way for others to follow. |
Re: Achebe’s Biafra Memoir Stirs Controversy by vanbonattel: 10:04pm On Oct 06, 2012 |
Prof Corruption: lagos became what it is because of commerce and access to the sea when there was very little air transportation and the port was used by the colonilists to shift everything in and out. after independence and with increased local business, the igbo came in and sustained the tempo while the average yoruba lazy azz was busy romancing fat buttocks of women |
