When people go for highly professional gatherings, respect the occasion. I'm sure you posted the pics of people, how about you post the pics of princes and kings that attend high profile gathering and see what they wear.

Everyone has formal and informal dressing and has no absolute bearing on the the culture. Different occasions calls for different attire, irrespective of your culture or tradition. If you cannot learn that, then I cannot help you.
