Yooguyz: Matthwe.7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Hettymoore: Personally I don't feel you can be gay and identify as a christian, christianity is a religion that does not accept gays. There is no way u can twist it,it just doesn't have room for gays. But u can be gay and still have a good relationship with jesus, because u don't have to be called a christian to do that. Serve God the best way u can,do good and be the best u can be but u can not expect christians to accept u cs according to the holy book its a sin. Christians don't want u but that doesn't mean God don't, God is who ever u want him to be. 1.John.2: 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 3 Likes |

masonkz: Anyway, the behaviour of Christians in the church is one of the reasons I had to take a step back and go into some kind of "inward searching" within me. It's amazing how they can be saints at one point and beasts at the next. Follow Christ not christains. He/she that faints in the da¥ of adversit¥ his/her strength is small. idnoble135: Well there is actuall¥ nothing wrong with someone's defination afterall GOD said what ever Adam called it that is what it will be. Ga¥ christians, carnal christians, good christians, fake christians, chrislam e.t.c Note that none of this define the actual word 'Christians' Acts.11: 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. The disciples of Jesus where called just christians, for a christian is someone like christ as the word connote and now the question one should ask is/was Christ Jesus ga¥ ? |

2.Peter.3: 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Yooguyz, I'm happy for you. No kidding.. And to the sanctimonious assholes that have chosen to derail the thread, can you just leave and go back to your thread? Last I checked, every Christian has a right to define their Christianity. That's why it's a personal race, lol. So move on. You are not the Christ. |

Yooguyz: Yooguyz if u are planning to get married please stick to ur wife since you are bi,there is no excuse for adultery. If u knw u can't be faithful then don't get married. I would even say u get something else to do because if your members ever find out u are gay they are not going to understand that you were called, and it will bring shame to the church and your church will lose its members o. They say when u are in a place u live by their laws, the reason u can't come out in nigeria is cos of the law doesn't accept u but u can abroad because their law accepts u. My point is the church is guided by the law of the holy book and that clearly doesn't accept u, u can serve God if you want but becoming a pastor to me can't work except u are open abt ur sexuality |

Non-gay atheist here. I'd like someone to explain (or list) the Sins That Make You Not A Christian. I've heard it said numerous times that gays cannot be Christian (or Muslim), however, you never hear people saying that adulterers are not Christian, liars are not Christian, etc. I'd like someone to tell me which sins Christian may commit and still be 'Christian' and which sins would put one out of Christianity. Some New Testament scriptural references would help. 1 Like |

sadeiyare:U still don't get my point, my life is based on mathew mark luke and st john which talks about the life and journey of christ. If you can quote a part from dere that condemns my sexuality then we can talk,if not then let jesus be my judge. I honestly don't pay attention to any other part of the bible, that's why I don't identify as a christian but a follower of christ. And I will follow him the best way I can,if my earthly mother can accept me with my homosexuality then I believe its not a problem for God. 3 Likes |
