cococandy: If he wasn't greedy he would not have built more structures on a design whose foundation wasn't meant to carry more than 4 storeys.I myself could not believe her logic. Her comment is truly mind-boggling. Basically, what she is trying to say whether she knows it or not is that because any person would react in that manner (which is a load of bullshit by the way), that should somehow extenuate his actions. I just don't get some Nigerians. What is wrong is wrong. This discourse is not about what we would do if we were in his situation. It's about the illegalities that eventually resulted in the collapse of the building, as well as the inappropriate actions taken afterwards. All of which ought to be classified as criminal offences, at least in saner climes. 4 Likes |

georgecso: The last 72 hours were probably the most intense in my life. The love, kind words and support I’ve received in that period from, mostly, total strangers have been overwhelming. I want to thank everybody who saw the good in what I did. Though, to be honest, I think it was a little stupid. What was I thinking putting my life and probably my career on the line in an attempt to change something so entrenched it seems unchangeable? But really I’m not fazed by the trash talk from those allergic to the truth. Mr reporter, i have a million reasons why i dont trust nigerian media.. one is mainly becus u didn't handle this case professionally, ask me why? watch bbc , cnn and you will notice how their reporters go extra mile in finding answers, You should have forced him to tell you its a "bribe" rather than concluding its a bribe, or allow him (tbj) to give comments that states the motive of the money? The media never publish anything good about this man in the past , so how can we trust you now from the video footage, Tbj has a very strong claim and also why will a plane fly so low? Also he must provide building plans that supports his building layout!! lets wait and see the main cause of this incident before we conclude!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

sorom4: Its either you are biased or that you have refused to think properly. Who owns the property that failed? Who contracted the Engrs? Who is paying them? Who do they get their orders from? Simple reason should tell you who should answer and bear all the problems. But put aside all these. The problem here and that was why Nicolas was not happy was that the truth was abt to be swept under the carpet. The reporters were giving us a wrong info to d public jst 2 cos there pockets were swelled you can only sweep what has not been in the media under the feet, and if you are saying that if i get orders from you to repair your faulty car, as a trained mechanic and i am to be paid for it, then i burn your car including people inside the car whilst i am still working on the car, it is your fault and are you the bad guy. This issue is not as serious as the journalist is shouting about it, when he was giving money to help footballers that made Nigeria proud no condemnation, but now he gave to visiting journalist and people are making the issue as if he committed murder and the journalists are the Judge in the court of law, if 50,000 will buy the conscience of any journalist then we need to think again. to the giver 50,000 could be a change, but the receiver might have a tiny mind to think its money to buy his conscience, lets leave God to Judge so that we will not also be wrongly Judged as we jugded others |
