Seriously, this isn't an issue.for ladies that have sense, they know every guy likes good and tasty food.and the quickest way to cease him is what you feed him with, whether in ur house or his.I cook but only when my girl friend isn't around.she won't let me when she is arround.and I won't date any girl who says she can't do one or two tins becos she isn't my wife yet.I bet wen we are married and she has more power she won't do them still.be wise ladies.Cook for your guy anytime.there is nothing wrong with it.it doesn't make u a slave or house maid.practice been husband and wife while dating unless u r not sure of the relationship. |

I no understand this plenty talk....What does it matter if you cook or don't cook?? I cook coz the kitchen is my first best place in every house and I LOVE to cook be it in my house or in his, not because am trying to impress him with what I can offer but then again its part of my CV Op your topic should be "Not giving boyfriends husband's privileges" because even if you don't cook always but you guys bleep always when you visit, your point is unmade. Should a lady cook for the guy she's dating? Well, it depends... I think it has to do with the mood, if she feels like it, yes and vise versa. She just shouldn't be compelled to do such all the time, like its a must. And besides, a relationship requires much more than cooking to thrive. *MyTwoCent* MODIFIED I see some folks misinterpreting being submissive... Submissiveness is a two way thing to me. In a way, it applies to both party and not like relegating one party to the background. |

Adaeze003:I'd already dosed off. Em... Normaly I wouldnt have bothered, but i guess this issue is a bit special, so I am constained to this bit of a reply. . How is it even possible that it is lost on you girls that you are already 'PLAYING' husband and wife with your BoyFriends by being intimate with them... And your men are already 'PAYING' the same by all the 'Totaly unnesesary expenditures' they undergo with you their beus (which would have been equally totaly uncalled for 'in the past', as you say). So why not play it to the full? ...whos deceiving who? . I am Firm and unflinching that weather in 'acting' or the 'real thing' what makes black people who they were (that the black woman in particular is most eager to toy with, until she makes a complete mess of her life, like those white manequins) should be untouched. . Be careful what you ask for because you might get it. . Isn't it OBVIOUS some guy could simply REVERSE the question on this thread 2 read.. "Should nija men spend anything on women whom they've not yet commited to ...blablabla?" . And then half the Brazilian hairs would Disapear...!! |

Osode: And I guess u don't know generalising is a lil oh... no, allot silly... I'm no Brazilian hair, I have my principles, u have urs. I won't cook 4 a bf, many girls will so the solution is simple... guys who must get husband privileges should go for girls that will give it... shikina. Besides, I see no reason why a guy should spend on a girl he isn't married to save for dates n all but again, some actually love to spend and not whine about it like u... So u see? In the seven billion peeps, you will find someone that suits u... iz all m saying... |

i dey laff this silly thread o.. i hear some girls ranting, is she ur housegirl?, is she ur maid? so a maid, a housegirl, a wife are the ones condemned to the kitchen abi? so u admit they are females, nd because of that they should do those tasks under the right circumstances, shey? so my question is, why do these same feminists ranting here object to cooking for their husbands when they get married.?? they still want thier husband to help out in the kitchen. broses of nairaland... my deduction is,.. girls wey no go cook as a gf, would hate cooking as a wife. marry a girl that enjoys cooking more that sex... marry a girl that would use the kitchen more often to escape u knacking her than the one wan go come chop and be knacked. my two cents.. 1 Like |

Adaeze003: HellooOoooooO? Back in Paleolithic times.... Grown ups will just grab a girl of their choice and make a family with... Who knows what was marriage then? Or courtship? So that's a pointless shrewd!!!..... Point iz, its wholly discretional...whether to cook or not! |

Its not obligatory, but it happens naturally mosttimes. When she in the mood to do it, enjoy & when she z not, allow it. Its not her duty. |

Just a thought. What if all these online posts by some women on what other women should and should not do is just the posters' crafty way of gaining competitive advantage in the relationship space by subtly modifying the psyche of the female audience with a view to making the other females less desirable. Or the posters may even be victims, that is, simple tools in the hands of smarter women who want to achieve the aforementioned objective. If this is the case, then I can say it has been an excellent strategy so far. 2 Likes |

Thank God my gf doesn't visit Nairaland. Even if she does, it won't change who she is. Let say I have two gfs A and B. whenever A visits she will just sit down there like a non living thing and Whenever B visits even though she's not under any obligation to cook but offer to help with cooking. I will rather marry B than the zombie A. To all the nice and submissive ladies out there, don't take advices from these feminists serious oo especially here on Nairaland that fake people are rampant. Be yourself. Cooking for your bf does not makes you his housemaid or his servant. The fact that my gf cooks for me whenever she comes over does not mean she's my housemaid whatever. I rebuke every spirit of feminism. god send feminists far away from my life and my family. 1 Like |
