It is called peer-reviewed journal or peer-reviewed articles. Not peer-to-peer. Am a reviewer currently to 8 Elsevier journals, 4 Taylor and Francis and 12 Springer journals. Here you will find some of my works and all are peer-reviewed articles and paid for by Turkish Govt : https://www.nairaland.com/2044554/thread-phd-students/12

Are you an editor, researcher or reviewer?
Whatever! They are the same thing. In fact it is not peer-reviewed but peer review(peer-to-peer review is a jargon I often used to expressed the idea of it coming from both the researcher and those who scrutinize it). I find it fascinating how you try to correct me only to end up with grammatical errors. However, I would like you to post the links of your researches here for us all to see. Not mouthing here when you have contribute nothing to the development of the country. It is funny how you mention Turkish government sponsoring your elusive researches though. They say, 'action speaks louder than words'. Show me your research and how it can help to move Nigeria forward, please!

I am not an editor, researcher nor do I review people's works. I am ordinary young man(partly a Nigerian)who likes to challenge Nigerian PhD holders to their contributions to the development of the society with their overrated high knowledge at this point, not until they can prove it.

Thank you for those links and I am impressed a bit. At least, somebody with PhD is able to come up with something in the field of Chemistry unlike the others I have seen on this thread. Your articles are interesting looking at the abstracts but there is a lot missing as you couldn't provide how they can be useful to the Nigerian society. However, I am interested in what you can do with them to move Nigeria forward.

Please, people, take good note of Akeem Adeyemi Oladipo(PhD). He is doing use proud with his works.

Can somebody send message to the Nigerian government we have a PhD holder who has many works which can be useful to our society?!

I would do my best to purchase one of your articles and look into it properly! If it worth what you claim then I will try to forward it to famous Chemistry journals and see what would come out of it.

Thank you once again.

The most interesting aspect of PhD studies is the research, the research brings money, fame and capability to solve problems. If PhD students can publish good number of articles will not have much job issues especially in innovative fields and emerging areas.

Dear English Man,

I had to show you those links just to know you more and understand what am dealing with. I have to correct you on some terms and also explain how things work:

You have written peer-to-peer on occasions: It is called peer-reviewed articles after the articles have been published, it is called peer-review journals if such journals undergo blind reviewing system. Take note of that.

Journal Reviewer: Is a specialist, expert or versed professional in his/her field of studies and plays essential roles in scholarly publishing. Such expert must be invited by renowned journals to review others submitted manuscripts due to his/her expertise in that field.

Forwarding published articles to famous journals: so funny and when I read this part, I had to forget the chilled winter waves flowing down my nerves. If you try this, the authors will be served infringement notice. You cannot publish a text, part, figures or tables from already published work. So you cannot send my works to any journals you called FAMOUS journals....

Famous journals: how do you grade journals? In scientific or academic world, we hardly use the word 'famous' to characterize a journal. There are some parameters that are used to grade journals such as h-index, i-index, indexing, abstracting, impact factor, source normalized impact per paper etc....those are the metrics that we use.

The bold part of your statement: Unfortunately I don't live in Nigeria, currently each of my published work is paid by the organization i work with and Turkish govt cos the works benefit them. Tubitak is established by Turkish govt and the body characterized each journal by points and after publication the researcher must have Turkish tax number and will be paid for each work published, raging from 1000-5000 USD per a paper. You may google Tubitak to learn more.

I have works on oil recovery with NNPC, a current project with some Nigerian researchers on the use of waste eggshells as heterogeneous catalyst for biodiesel production (sponsored by NNPC). You want link on this

Waow...Yes Nigeria is a great country and place...There are many things i have seen there in Nigeria that we buy very expensive here but they are so abundant and wasting in Nigeria. So i will come to Nigeria and make very good money cos is a rich nation with too many raw materials that are wasting.....Do you know in Nigeria, they have plenty algea, coconut, etc?

My friend brought some algea from Nigeria and waow just little bag like 5kg, we got 3Kg sodium alginate from it...thats goes for 300 pounds. imagine he only uprooted the algea from one bush in Nigeria.......so you use too much money to make.....I love Nigeria, Nigerian people and Africa....Am a Nigerian cos i love that green passport and i always hide that other colored passport when am traveling.

Some of them published their works on international database like emerald but you have to pay for subscription. If the topic you are interested in is related to Nigeria just Google it, I'm sure you will find something.

If the research is published in international journals and you know the full name of the author or title of the article..then you can state it here. I have full subscription to most journals (85%) and i can get the full text for you and email you downloaded copy free!

Thanks. I am trying to contact some of them in my school for something regards to their research but I feel I would look silly if I don't know in detail what their current research is about. So i want to know if there is anywhere in particular I can find them.

No one can know in particular, only the author knows where his/her paper is published. Just google, something will pop up.

Google the topic if you know it then add Nigeria to it (if you do not have a professor's name in mind).

if you do not have the name of a Prof @ hand then for example: 'Ethnicity research professor Nigeria' google search bar in put brought several results but mostly foreign based but nonetheless, it showed Professor Eghosa Osaghae who is the foremost scholar of ethnic studies in Nigeria. Then I can google him and look through is works for what I need.

I have explained to you before the reason why I use the jargon 'peer-to-peer review' in my post. After reading your comment I find it appalling to comprehend due to the numbers of error in your use of English grammar, although, you are a PhD holder. Yet people click likes to it. Let me point them out for you above in bold. I find those minute errors with pedantic undertone ridiculous to say the least - having known you are a PhD certificate holder. That means I am not going to look up to you as a role model worth emulating or following the foot step, not until you can prove to me how useful you are to the advancement of the Nigerian society.

I concur on your journal grading method. However, that doesn't nullify the fact there are famous peer reviews and scientific journals out there. For example, there are science.org, nature.org,aip.org, etc. These are the famous on the list, well known to those in the academic community. Accept that I am correct not because you couldn't get your 'Turkish' research articles on any of the famous online journals but because you refuse to accept irrefutable fact and it is not the end of the world. All I am interested in at the moment is how much you can help to move Nigeria forward. Every other thing you say here is absolutely pedantic and irrelevant to the development of Nigeria.

Seriously, I admire your works but you must know how much interest you put into them to help your father's land is what matters. Not some puffy nature that cannot provide ways to find solutions to the problems in our society.

NNPC is a very corrupt corporation. Those in the top positions have been stealing the nation oil wealth for years without doing anything about the poor condition of the nation development. I cannot help laughing at that part of your post while I see you using the 'rotten' company as an example of where you have contributed your best to the good of that nation. That is completely unacceptable. Please, I would like you to post the link to your NNPC research work!

Thank you, sir.

Can you quietly bow out of this thread and stop exhibiting your ignorance in public? If you have nothing of note to contribute please keep quiet. From your posts, I can tell that you don't even have a clue of what a PhD is meant to achieve/contribute. Wip has been patient and kind enough to try and enlighten you but you won't humble your ignorant self.
Run along now and don't expose your folly any more than you have already.

@wip thanks for the encouragement boss and I hope all's good with you.
