I feel your pain dearie. I had irregular menses as an adolescent( infact at a time it stopped entirely around my 18th birthday for like 8 months). All the drugs from the hospital didn't help at all until my grandmother started administering bitter leave juice (2x daily) that same month, it started flowing and has been as regular as ever. In fact it doesn't delay even if its a day.

If you want to see whether they have succeeded or not, go to the advertising industry, it does everything to catch your attention and today almost no advert comes out without a sexual connotation. Even when they advertise ice cream, they must show you a thigh of a woman and a bikini, they must do something to set off a trail of thoughts. They will show you more thighs than ice cream. Why? Bible says when God turned the captivity of Zion, they were like them that dream! I've passed through the ttc road before and I know how it feels. Not to worry, dearies, the Lord who made me a mother will visit u too.

In my own case it was fibroid I was battling with and I thank God for making me overcome it without surgery. In other words, I don't know what to say about stuff like hormone imbalance, hot flushes etc but whatever the challenges are, I pray that God will connect you with the doctor that will address it and soon too. I thought you said you have irregular period.that is the first thing you have to correct so you can check your ovulation dates correctly. without ovulation,no pregnancy.so ovulation is the first to correct

@zeemoh, i guess you might have pcos, thats the major cause of infertility as it causes hormonal imbalance and never let your follicles grow to full maturation at the right time or sometimes when they grow they can never pop on their own becos their is not egg in it (ovulation), having irregular period means you are not ovulating regularly or at the right time cos menstruation usually occurs every 14 days after your ovulation except there is another factor causing your delay which might be stress, some women experience delay of Af when taking clomid what that means is that the clomid made the woman ovulate on a later date not that it delayed the period, eg if you ovulate on cd 17, it means your period should come out in the next 14 days if pregnancy does not occur which will now make your cycle 31 instead of 28 days (if 28 was your regular cycle).

tell your doctor to check you for polycystic ovarian syndrome, maybe through pelvic scan or TVS a day to the expected date of your ovulation (becos if you ovulate on your own they will notice that your follicle is about to rupture but if you have pcos they will see plenty follicles and the dorminant one might be within 13-15mm which means ovulation is not close cos natural ovulation usually occurs from 22mm-25mm) but if he doesnt agree with you , you can buy vitex and start taking it, it will help correct your cycle, and make you to ovulate on your own within 3 months.

@zeemoh, do a scan on the day i recommended to check your ovaries before you conclude, or is it early menopause? cos pcos is the only thing that causes iregularity or do you prefer calling it hormonal imbalance? if you feel its normal to induce period all the time then you can carry on, .....ask your doctor what the problem is then...cos some doctors feel we might not understand some things thats why they dont tell us...has your doctor ever giving you clomid? and why did he give you? cos No 1, he gives you primolut N to induce period...absent of af without pregnancy means there was no ovulation and if there was no ovulation? why was there no ovulation?
