All these press singing are just display of Nigerian as described by owolowo and Ahmadu I.e mere geographical entity and mistake of 1914.the greatest leader that restored peace in Niger delta was yaradua. He was the one that deviated from traditional military approach to peaceful means of resolving the crisis, due to his good gestures ministry of Niger dealt and amnesty office were created. He sent a bill to the national assembly for 10% oil resources for oil producing state.I now remember yaradua was from Niger republic to have achieved all these. From the op write up are just see display of bigotry. 4 Likes |

michelz: Lol. No, you are the funny one here. Granted, maybe he's doing what Buhari directed, but are you aware that to be a good leader, you must first be a good follower? Prof Osinbajo has shown loyalty, resourcefulness, industry and most especially unflinching support for his principal. I'll say he's a good man to have in your corner, whether you're the president or the masses. There was nowhere I mentioned Buhari in my post. You should pity the man. He is seriously I'll. Would you prefer he dies in power or lives out of power? I don't know what age range you fall into, but you sound like those fuddy duddy egocentric power-hugging gerontocrats in the North and South who's brains can't think of anything other than power rotation. Let the best man for the job wear the crown abeg. Enough of this rubbish talk of "it's the turn of the North", "it's the turn of the south". It's not going to help us as a country. Since the Northerners have been ruling how has that translated to development of their region? 5 Likes |

He is a Nigerian, of course. But he is not your typical dubious naija politician, though in politics! Tinubu brought him into govt as attorney general and he reworked Lagos state laws with strong emphasis on implementation and enforcement. To this day lagos is uniquely different from other state in having the political will to ENFORCE its laws. Much as some people may not want to hear this, but truth is Tinubu must be credited for insisting on PYO as Vp to Buhari against the selfish pick of Amaechi by Bukola, who was aiming for Vp post- Buhari presidency. 2 Likes |

Trut: It could also just be "calling a spade a spade". As at the time PMB was going against GEJ, it was obvious that after 6 years, a change was needed. This one happened sooner. The positive part is that it seems there are fewer blind followers these days and thats good for Naija in the long run. 1 Like |

Osinbajo must be very careful. I fear for his life. The evil people that are in control do not like the fact that he is being good to the people. But the good will always prevail over evil. 1 Like |

I agree, the way he handled the Edo situation is worthy of admiration. This is how a public servant should behave and if he goes on to become the president, he is likely to cause a change in the way public servants conduct themselves in public. I know he and Buhari are a team, but come on, Buhari should have visited most states in Nigeria regardless of party affiliation instead of touring other countries. I am totally rooting for Osibanjo and if he is going to contest in 2019, I would throw off my apathy toga, and get interested again in politics by campaigning for him 4 Likes |
