So Osinbajo's principal had series of muscle pulls that he could not attempt those things when he was around? Abegii

michelz:
you're funny. What you see Osibanjo do is a credit to his principal, Buhari. All his actions are directed by Buhari. So don't make it look like Osibanjo is doing something else different from what Buhari would do. Moreover,it's the turn of northerners to rule, and they must complete their tenure.

I really don't want to believe the real Tonye made this ludicrous statement. I have always respected your analysis and the impartiality with which you dish them out. For the benefit of doubt, I will assume someone else impersonated you or this is the one minute madness for which everyone is permitted at least once in a lifetime.

As you can see these people don't believe in the Buhari they sold to Nigerians, they elected the man not because they saw a man of vision or principles nor because they were patriotic but simply because of primordial tribal sentiments that he dies in office and their tribeman sworn in as President. Where are the "Sai Baba" crew now?

Since Buhari fell sick/incapacitated and Osibanjo became Acting President the Afonjas have seized their support for Buhari, they no longer defend him. They've started showing their hand again, this time by accrediting every positives to Osibanjo while blaming Buhari for incompetence, something they didn't agree to in the past. Buhari isn't dead yet but they're already projecting Osibanjo as the best thing after sliced bread - A capable, educated and a better President to be. They have started their media hyping of Osibanjo, praising him to high heavens, same thing they did with Buhari before his incompetence was exposed to the world.

Afonjas have "CHANGED". What a treacherous set!!!
In your dumb mind you are trying to cause a rift between the President and his vice. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided.

As for now it is just good that we have a leader who inspires hope. Hope is important especially for the citizenry. The spirit of a man will sustain him in his infirmity but who can bear a broken spirit? When there is hope citizens build their nation. Let's just keep watch and not over blow his trumpet to self destruct. Allow him to be diligent until things truly turn around for good. Work full ground he ain't started yet.

You just made it your life mission to attack 'Afoja', either it's necessary or not necessary. Hatred will kill some people in this country. The man talking is not Yoruba, neither is he related in anyway, he's a Delsu lecturer and By his name you will realize that he's from the Niger delta. So many people are praising Osibanjo, Igbos, South South and other, yet you single out 'Afoja'. Some hatred cant be cured, I'm very sure of that.

Talking about hoping Buhari dies, who is God, how will anybody vote for someone, hoping he dies? Trump is over 70, did Americans voted for him hoping he dies? But I guess Bigotry has zero reasoning. Talking about believing in Buharis ideology, most of us might not believe in all his ideologies, but he's seen as a man of integrity and he has strong followership that could win elections, that plus the qualities Osibanjo possesses made most Yorba vote for them.

The only lense some people use to see life is Bigotary, change your ways.

Check on all these campaigners and will see most are from the west. Osibanjo has more work to do to bring other tribes in because buhari did alot of damage to nigeria's unity. He started well, he should continue on the track making sure nobody feels left out.

you want to see it in black and white in the constitution before you understand the politics at play in Nigeria? If so,why did almost all northerners and south westerners turn against GEJ and practically made his government uncomfortable?
They said then it was the tenure of Yaradua that GEJ was doing. What has changed now? Is it no more their tenure because it's Osibanjo?

I can only speak for myself....i was against Gej based on performance.

If PMB likes...let him keep us in recession and blame poor performance on Niger Delta Avengers. He will still be shown the way out.

Naija now is no more about excuses hence the one naija protest.

Yes,right now,you would claim that you were against GEJ based on performance because Osibanjo is involved, but we all know better; we know why you fought GEJ,we know why you wanted Buhari (not Osibanjo that you're now hyping) as president.
FYI,if Buhari is shown the way out,Osibanjo goes as well.
If you say Buhari is not performing, then Osibanjo too is incompetent. Simple.

I get the gist of what you're saying.

He is like a breath of fresh air on the political landscape of Nigeria.

Nigerians denied Awolowo the opportunity to rule this country to greatness in the 80s

This is another opportunity before us.

We would be stupid indeed if this man is not made substantive president and also voted in for the next two terms after.

May God continue to guide Osinbajo to make the right choices for this nation.
for the peace yo reign in this country osibanjo should step aside for another northerner to complete their two terms
