2. What does your job description say? Let's start from there. Who will issue your work reference letter? The bank or your outsourcing company? I assumed you meant "contract staff" in your post. my job is basically to post transactions like payment vouchers into the company software which is later used by the account dept to generate balance sheet. I also do bank reconciliation.

It's the outsourced company that is likely going to write the reference letter.

3. Yes. You have to indicate your NOC . Thanks code

Don't seem to understand this fee thing sef. Does it mean that if am applying with my wife, I will pay ×two of 1040?
Sorry English nah my problem oooh. grin

40manlappy:

That's for the two fees per adult.

Application processing fee is $550 while Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is $490. Got that?

I believe you can . Raise a cse to change composition of family. I believe there is a form for it with a LOE and your parents death certificate together with any legal document You have. i neleive you will be contacted to do his medicals and all other necessary th' ngs. You can also ask them on Twitter. It's best you include him now since he's still a minor . You wil only pay 150CAD.

Thanks. doing that asap. I intend to include extra proof of funds to meet up the requirement for a family of three. death certificate of both parents, affidavit of legal guardianship i had done in 2016 and letter of explanation. i hope that is fine.

Thanks, I have recalculated now, it drops to 424 with 1-2 years work experience, will stick to the three years then.

Just have to find a way to get the letters.

What if a company you have worked with in the past has shut down. How can one handle that?

Some of the companies I have worked with might not have email addresses.... Are their addresses and phone numbers sufficient...?

I truly hope you get this settled.

The problem with WES is, if they are used to receiving confirmation via hardcopy from your Nigerian school, they usually don't honour the mail, even if sent several times.

If you have extra cash, send your verification , hard copy via courier, you would be amazed at how fast you would get your ECA.

This is just a piece of advice, from my own experience, not necessary you go this way.

Hi billy, I feel compelled to respond to this post though would rather want the the debate to end as its been subtly on for a while. However, if the debate goes on with pointers that might help one, two or five people, then it's worth it.

I agree 100% with your post (and bbaby84 submissions) but I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that you lose points in some factors if you chose you have a spouse, rather we mostly recommend test takers (either single or married) to aim 8777 LRWS. Here is the gist, an applicant who is single does not get maximum score attainable from ielts with 8777 so does a PA with a spouse loses points attaining that score. A spouse on the other hand gets maximum (20) points claimable scoring 8777.

If I am right, yooku's initial post was made to encourage future test takers to max out their score with 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 (LRWS), but she only referenced CRS factor from a married applicant's perceptive.

In summary, applicants either single or married (PA) gunning to secure points possible should aim higher than 8777.

Good evening seniors,
I have a serious or complicated concern and will really appreciate your advise even if you have not been in my shoes before.

In total i have about 37 months of work experience but the challenge is that about 8 months of this, i was a freelance IT consultant, so people hired me when they get a project and i get paid on an agreed term(milestones). In this particular period, 3 consultants agreed to bring me on a particular project and so i got paid from the 3 of them at different times during the project.

Since there was no formal documentation(no contract document at all) and its almost impossible to get a reference letter since its not a company per se,what can i do to claim points for the said period? i mean the 8 month period.

Hello guys,

Please concerning work experience..
I initially filled all my past work experiences on my profile. I worked for 5, 4,6,8, and 5 months in 5 diff companies and soon I would clock one year on Sept 5, 2017 at my present place of work. Can I just claim my present employment as valid work experience by providing work reference for it, since I only need at least 1 year paid employment.
I am saying this because those places I've worked it might be difficult getting work references, they are very very small companies, with no websites or official emails (not to talk of official company phone lines).

I just passed my ielts and will update my profile on Tuesday with 449 crs score.

But I'm thinking what will I say I was doing since finishing nysc Dec 2013 till Sept 2016 that I took up my present work, will that be a problem.?

449? It should be more than enough to get you ITA

With this your score, I am assuming you have a Masters degree and you indeed aced you ielts.

Between Dec 2013 to Sept 2106 -> Unemployed

Notify them immediately after your marriage by raising a CSE with your marriage certificate attached. At the same time send an email to IRCC official email. Few days after you will get a response from IRCC to submit additional documents for your spouse which includes but not limited to birth certificate, PCC, Medicals, updated proof of funds, proof of relationship and so on. You will be given 7 days to submit all of these so its advisable for you to started getting all of the documents ready.

I'm ready to help you and share relevant information and emails from IRCC when you need it since I've got first hand experience using this route.
If you wish to, reach me on vanessaoosagie@gmail.com when the time comes and I will be available to help.

I don't understand. If he gets married, even without his wife writing IELTS and ECA, he still has 443, why will you then advise him not to marry now?

Guy, Pls get married, enter the pool get an ITA with 443 (443 is almost certain to get you an ITA) and process your application so you and your wife can start your new lives together in Canada without complications.

Vanessa00:
Get into the pool as a single applicant, get ITA and AOR and marry her afterwards. Easier that way because she wont be needing IELTS or ECA in that case as opposed to the other option.
