Everything about the USA stands out. In politics, economy, sports, music, movies (Hollywood), lifestyle. Everything! Why are they so great? Is it how God destined it (are they the new Isreal), or is it just how things played out? What explains that supremacy of almost everything American?

to me, they are so blessed because they do not have ribadu that decieves the masses. they do not have obasanjo, atiku, ibb that will want to die ruling.
they do not have a prof in the manner of iwu who will shamelessly organise anything and call it election. they do not have balogun who is a criminal turned chief security officer.
at the end of the day, the are not as shameless as nigeria who will boldly tell the masses that a siezed ship has disappeared.
above all, america does not have pdp as a political party.

It doesn't have anything to do with God, and they don't have any special blessing. They got to their position quite violently actually, and many people in their country wouldn't agree with you when you say they're blessed living in run down housing projects. What does the "New Israel mean"?

You know in the Bible God promised to bless Isreal, and pronounced them a favoured people. Maybe America is that Isreal the Bible was talking about. Or is it just a matter of "empires rise and fall", since at different points in history it was Egypt, Greece, Roman Empire, UK and so on. So maybe it is America's turn now. But even that does not fully explain the American supremacy in almost every facet of life. There has to be more to it, I think.

Btw I don't think China would quite surpass America. Maybe in economy someday (not in our lifetime sha), but it wouldn't be of the total sort that America now has: social, cultural, art, science, every aspect. The whole world is under America's total influence.

I heard their founding fathers (politicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, etc) were solid christians, disciplined and visionary hard workers and strong prayer warriors and that modern day America (and also UK) is still enjoying the results of their prayers and hard work.

Also, that they are Gentiles and are also entitled to the Jews' blessings.  I think I read it in a motivational /xtian book. Not sure about it though.

you've said it all.The british empire,the Soviet Union,Persian Gulf among others have once dominated but it all ended like a pack of cards reason being the inability to retain such power for a long time.
I think the so called success of US has got more to do with her foreign policy , her  democratic ideology and capitalism.It's no news that china is going to be the next world power considering its growing relevance in recent years that have continued to threaten US dominance.

I also heard that the America you are praising today was built by the sweat and blood of your great great grand fathers who were enslaved and shipped out to America Visa free, and never paid or compensated for their work over the centuries.

The founding fathers of modern day America were the descendents of the British who had fled Britain for the New World due to Christian persecution. America essentially is a version of Britian but it is a million times larger and that is why everything seems magnified compared to Britain. However bigger doesn't always mean better.

The question should be why is America cursed? the other question is why are they so fat even when young, that's ok they can have my share of food anytime  .

America -USA to be precise is a country that has many flaws but strive for the greater good. They have a visionary and can do attitude. They have many dumb spoilt individuals but by and large they live by values. Thank God for obama their supremacy has been extended, education is once again mainstream. Beware their values are contagious.
If only the whole of Nigeria can have the infrstructure of the worst infrastructural state in the USA THEY WOULD BE A REAL VISION 2020.

By this I mean they exploited these resources for their growth and not for people to steal. They imported expertise in any area they lacked and have always protected their peoples welfare.

Even tho some of thse natural resources were "stolen".  Labor --- > Brain drain, cheap labors etc. Land ---> Some of their companies are also abroad, they spread out, helps bring money into their economy.
