@Blendy77.pls when did u start taking blood thinner(baby aspirin)? I wanted to start taking it right away but my Re said he wouldn't want me to start now b'cos if one has a cut it could lead to excessive bleeding.That he wud want me to start just some days b4 another transfer.

Honeybony are u starting another procedure this soon? Ur body needs time to heal first. As per the baby aspirin, I think my Dr gives it b4 collection or during stimming. Its been a while sha so can't remember exactly. Pls other members of this forum who used Dr Emeka should help me out. I know I took mine more than 12wks but u're supposed to stop taking it at 12wks, same time u stop cyclogest to avoid excessive bleeding during delivery.

Pls has anybody done Asherman surgery/Laparoscopy here in Nigeria b4, if yes, which doctor did it 4 u, what was d procedure like, what was ur experience, were u able to go home same day after d surgery and lastly were u able to give birth after †ђξ treatment? Hope to hear from you.

@jummyforeal are u sure u have asherman's syndrome,years ago a gynae I used told me I had ashermans but I was so sure he was wrong,after dt I got preggo though I lost it at almost 5mths,but dat was enuf proof I did not have asherman's nd my periods became regular afterwards,have u don a transvaginal scan nd hsg to rule out adhesions,how abt hysteroscopy,am not sure we are supposed to make recommendations here but der is one Juwon Alabi,southern shore women's clinic who I saw at dat timenhe sounded knowleadgeable nd skilled,I hear his speciality is endoscopic surgery,pls pm me for his personal details,even if u won't use him ,he's d only one I think I wld have done d surgery with if I had to do it,I did a lot of research on ashermans nd I realise dat if one falls into d hands of d wrong doctor it can complicate things.You can send me a mail on dketubah@gmail.com

@jummy4real by d way ashermans is treated using a diagnostic nd operative hysteroscopy,but some docs will do a lap with it,nd its always recorded so dey can play it back for u,whatever u choose to do be well informed pls

I'll also join in recommending Dr Alabi of South Shore women's Clinic. Met with while I was pregnant and I'll say the guy is good. Though I didn't give birth there. U can google their site for more info about him and the clinic. That guy is good!

Good evening everyone. Can someone help me out here please? How long can one wait after a Hysterescopy before commencing IVF? Been booked for it later this month but won't be able to start iVF until early August or late July because of work related issues. Those who have gone through it, how long did you wait before you started your stimms?

My doctor asked for 3 cycles before proceeding with ICSI after hysteroscopy, could also be because I was placed on Zoladex ( forced menopause).

Okay, thanks dear. Were you placed on Zoladex before the procedure or after it? This is my third ICSI, I want to seek proper guidance and also know that am doing the right thing before I start any procedure this time around. Don't want any doctor rush me into things.

You don't have to wait, it can be same cycle.

Thanks, but I don't want to start now. My job is very demanding and stressful. I prefer when am on leave so my body can rest too. @safe06, Amen o. I pray it is the third and last one too. Asking God for a triple for all my troubles, this year is my 8th year in marriage, done two icsi already without success. It is just a roller coaster journey, drains one physically, mentally, psychologically and of course financially. If it were just the finances alone, some people won't mind a lot but the mental and physical stress one goes through is huge.

@ Nogen I was placed on Zoladex for four months prior to the Hysteroscopy because he found an intrauterine polyps. He wanted to shrink it a bit before doing ball diathermy on it via hysteroscopy.

I got pregnant thru that cycle, but lost it at 24 weeks.

Waooo! So sorry about the lose. He must be a very good doctor having gone that far to shrink the polyps unlike some doctors that will hurriedly the transfer. My former doctor saw the fibroid in my womb and still went ahead to transfer. I overheard another doctor asking why they were transferring the embroyos with the fibroid in the womb. He still went ahead and did the transfer. So sad. Pls, which clinic did you use?

I think it depends on the Dr. I had hysteroscopy done on January with a diff Dr, my present dr wasn't going to do it, but because my trial transfer wasn't successful -bent cervix etc, and my cycle was delayed he now wants to do it. I think its a waste of money since the one I had in January was normal. So your Dr should be able to advice you better. Good luck

@safe06 we are very fine, the Lord Has been so faithful, u cant believe we are already in our week 16 and those great Generals started kicking y/day, we had to google 'fetal movement in the womb' and we saw that what they have started already was normal at their stage, it is fun knowing that i will soon be a father.
@Nogen my sister pls go ahead with it, ours we did it in Nov n if not d tight schedule we had in Dec we would done it then. Remember u must come to Abj wit a big tommyooo, bless you.

I wish I could say. Unfortunately I went into preterm Labour, baby came out alive but died after 10 mins in my arms, she cried o. I don't like reliving that day, 28 April 2008. Was my 1st cycle and only one with a BFP. Have done 4 more fresh cycles and 2 FET since then.
