adaobi123: not really... but seriously you need to be a hardcore introvert not go out and get off your face when you have such flatmates... my flatmates then were selection of random nutters...Chinese, South Korean, Iranian(but British), Zambian, Latvian and myself...every one of them smoke something.......not many finished their courses though...especially those entitled to student loan... You will join the league pretty soon.... |

spikesC: Unfortunately Gillingham is a boring town, the pentagon or the high street would not excite you. Google hackney empire, 02 dome, cokobar or likes, to see if they have any upcoming events. |

Fellow Nairalanders, I am in London with my wife and six months old son. I got a double bedroom in a flat share in somewhere around Brixton. My landlady has asked us to move after one month of stay. Please I need a another room fast. My budget is £450 PCM. |

MallamYahaya: Why? |
Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by Lexusgs430: 2:29am On Oct 31, 2014 |
MallamYahaya: The tenancy agreement you had with this landlady, was it a backyard agreement or legal? |
Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by MallamYahaya(m): 12:11pm On Oct 31, 2014 |
justwise: She said her family is coming to join her. It's a flat share. I looked at the options you sent to me. The issue is that it is a lot more difficult to get a moderate place as a couple with a child. |
Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by MallamYahaya(m): 12:12pm On Oct 31, 2014 |
Lexusgs430: Word of mouth agreement no tenancy agreement as such. |
Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by DisGuy: 12:46pm On Oct 31, 2014 |
MallamYahaya: since theres no agreement, she just has to chill for you to find an alternative, you might want to consider areas in the greater london areas (with good transport links) you are very likely to pay more than the advertised rate as a family...avoid pakistani landlord if you can 1 Like |

MallamYahaya: Unfortunately, she would have to wait till you find something suitable. Look on Gumtree, Windows on off licence shops and walk into local estate agents. NB: Don't hand over cash, until certain. 419 dey UK too o 1 Like |
