The largest donors to some american hospitals being moslem is not a surprise because that's where all the top wealthy moslems from the gulf go to get treated. Even the main building of John Hopkins hospital in Baltimore was named for a Saudi after a large donation. That was the hospital where he got treated.

I am recalling a UNICEF report on the SE I read a few years back that cited huge drop offs in enrollment from primary to secondary.

On further investigation I stumbled on data from the 2014 Enugu State Annual School Census report from its ministry of education. It reports that there were 304,691 primary school students between age 6-11 and 207,000 secondary school students age 12-17 which shows nearly 100,000 less students in secondary than primary.

Of course contributing factors could be population growth and migration but does that adequately explain 50% more students in primary than secondary school. I think not. A major factor often is the cost factor for many families.
