IMO many posters have gone off on a tangent and are probably now posting under the wrong topic. Both countries cannot be compared because they are just too different. I schooled in TX and I am moving to NY and I am actually experiencing culture shock. Tiny everything and damn expensive unlike TX. Also I am doing a lot more walking (in NY) and hopping on trains and buses, stuff I used to tease my BF about while on vacation in the UK before I knew better.

I change my mind EVERYDAY on which I prefer. It just really depends on what lifestyle you prefer and what your dreams are. I personally am a fatty at heart and I love the big cars and roads in Texas and how I used to drive everywhere, but I also love the perfect sunny weather right now in the UK unlike the hellfire they call summer in TX.

Summary: There is no particular place to be and none is actually better than the other in every aspect which renders any further argument pointless (especially the ones full of inaccuracies and unfounded facts).

Lately the number of US citizens coming here has risen . Legally and some illegally. We are beginning to see some of our brethren the ran to the US 10 years ago come back.
US economy? i don't know . But we have been seeing them here.
So if you are tired of the American dream. Please come here. Our airports are still open to the illegals as long as you are American. And don't take that as gospel as we still send some back.

Another reason why you should not come here. We drive on the wrong side the road. And we pay a lot to do that, Insurance,MOT,Road Tax, Speeding fines, Drink driving points, Congestion Charge and the Almighty Parking fines. What surprises me most about USA is this.

The number 1 selling product in the USA is Crack Cocaine. And that does not mean the people that sell it provides a good customer service or they are good at selling, in fact if you miss one monthly payment they will send you to the grave, compared to a main stream company that will send you a reminder letter.

Well I would have suggest USA is best if you are looking at going into buying and selling but,

I don't know, thinking deep about this, I suggest you come to UK if you like fried chicken, there are all sorts of chicken shops here and the price is very attractive. There is NY fried chicken, Washington fried chicken, kenturky friend chicken and others you can make up as long as the first name is a state in the USA, lately i have even seen obama fried chicken as well (near brixton station). Or stay in Nigeria if you can manage with Nepa.

If you love Nigeria come to the UK. the flight back only cost £500 economy. But if you go to the USA, you have to think many twice before any visit.
That is one of the disadvantages of the USA, If you don't have papers don't come here ooo. You will suffer if you do.
