You are right. But In my country we have a crop of unemployed and unemployable people who earn their daily bread through guess work prophesies out of which 99 per cent never come to pass. They back date their prophesies to tally with all occurrences. We like to ridicule them for what they do to gullible people. This is not to say that there are no genuine men of God but the majority who parade themselves as such are charlatans.

100000 likes and what you write is like I hear it, i hear a speach of a so called god of man who speaks about something what somebody prophes 29 years ago but has problems to read the bible! when he speaks to woman, i have the video document and i know the name of this man mad god.

Religious banditry is a reflection of the poor IQ level of most Nigerians, there is a redeemed church close to my house, in less than a year of operation, pastor is already on his 3rd car while no single member has one.
when I listen to the pastor's childish message, I thought he will have only kids as members, to my chagrin he actually has adults too.
Do you blame the pastors? they are banking on an emperical flaw in the Nigerian society.

How do you explain Nigerian musicians who have no message in their songs yet are given full societal accolade and acceptance?

How do you explain politicians with appendages like Patience Jonathan having followership?

That fundamental flaw of very low IQ plaguing most Nigerians is what these people are capitalizing on.

A society where majority cannot ask the right questions is bound to be under the spell of religious banditry.

A society that will burn alive a petty thief but give their life to protect a corrupt politician.

A society who bathe salt and water to cure a viral plaque is at the mercy of con men.

A society who believe that a 10% bribe to god will open the windows of heaven for them is at the brink of obeying the law of segregation.

Another angle we should also consider is dat most people dat give their tithe and so called donation for project work in some churches and still not get blessed in return, d fault could still be from them. U can be commited to ''CHURCH'' and not commited to ''GOD'' dats why we still have poor people in rich churches

that what you speak is not okay because god is not a money printing machine. Why they help only their own members, did the early church make this. I know from the catholic church that they help people who didnot gelong to them but you will never see this in the pentecost churches with theirman made Gods!

I read about the first fruit on RCCG church that when you make this you will get an etraordinary blessing and when you don't get this than you are bewitched that is the prosperity gospel what is a heresy gospel. A man made god who lie to his followers to build his own empire.

Look at countries like malaysia, singapo, thailand india, brazil, etc were in thesame level with nigeria few yrs ago, but today look at where they are, and where are.

Take a look at sub sahara africa, No, electricity, no roads, no security, no infrastructures, no health care, no social servics, our cities are slums, no planning.

http://collegestats.org/2009/12/top-10-oldest-universities-in-the-world-ancient-colleges/b

University of Al-KaraouineUniversity of Al-Karaouine: Located in Fes, Morocco, this university originally was a mosque founded in 859 by Fatima al-Fihri, a woman. It developed into one of the leading universities for natural sciences. It wasn’t until 1957 that the university added mathematics, physics, chemistry and foreign languages. This university is considered the oldest continuously-operating degree-granting university in the world by the Guiness Book of World Records.
Al-Azhar UniversityAl-Azhar University: This university, located in Egypt, is the world’s second oldest surviving degree-granting institute. Founded in 970-972, this university serves as a center for Arabic literature and Sunni Islamic learning. Al-Azhar university concentrates upon a religious syllabus, which pays special attention to the Quranic sciences and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad on the one hand, while also teaching all modern fields of science.
Nizam al-MulkNizamiyya: This series of universities was established by Khwaja Nizam al-Mulk in the eleventh century in what is now present-day Iran. The most celebrated of all the Nizamiyya schools is Al-Nizamiyya of Baghdad, established in 1065 in Dhu’l Qa’da and that remains operational in Isfahan. But, this was just one of many Nizamiyyah schools — others were located in Nishapur, Amul, Mosul, Herat, Damascus, and Basra. The Nizamiyya schools served as a model for future universities in the region, and al-Mulk often is seen as responsible for a new era of brilliance which caused his schools to eclipse all other contemporary learning institutions.
University of Bologna University of Bologna: This university was the first higher-learning institute established in the Western world in 1088. The term, “university,” was coined at its creation. Located in Bologna, Italy, this university led the Western world in educational innovations until the period between the two World Wars. At that time, leaders called upon the university to forge relationships with institutions in more advanced countries to modernize and re-invigorate its educational philosophies. This university met the call and, today, is considered a leader in the European university system.
University of Paris University of Paris: This university’s exact founding is unclear; however, teaching from this university existed since 1096. The university was reorganized as 13 autonomous universities in 1970. Often referred to as the Sorbonne after the College de Sorbonne (founded about 1257), this institute grew up in the latter part of the twelfth century around Notre Dame Cathedral as a corporation centered on the fields of arts, medicine, law and theology. In 1968 the cultural revolution commonly known as “the French May” resulted in the closing of the university for only the third time in history. The first occasion was in 1229, and the second was due to the invasion by the German army of 1940.

this are the five oldest universities in the world and please show me where you find timbuktu

The education has always been in Africa.

Unlike Gao, Timbuktu is not mentioned by the early Arab geographers such as al-Bakri and al-Idrisi.[20] The first mention is by the Moroccan traveler Ibn Battuta who visited both Timbuktu and Kabara in 1353 when returning from a stay in the capital of the Mali Empire.[21] Timbuktu was still relatively unimportant and Battuta quickly moved on to Gao. At the time both Timbuktu and Gao formed part of the Mali Empire. A century and a half later, in around 1510, Leo Africanus visited Timbuktu. He gave a description of the town in his Descrittione dell'Africa which was published in 1550.[22] The original Italian was translated into a number of other languages and the book became widely known in Europe.[

Fake information Timbuktu had no university the oldest Universities in Afrika are Fes in Marocco and the university of kairo which is the oldest University in africa

When timbuktu was mentioned there where many Universities in Europa so please stop fake information, at that time Europa has more than 20 Universities

Africans when you have no information about the history of europa please learn it

There were also Sub-Saharan Africans who had been absorbed into Al-Andalus to be used as soldiers and slaves. The Berber and Sub-Saharan African soldiers were known as "tangerines" because they were imported through Tangier.

In Spain the word moro was used (like many others) as just a word for 'muslim' from whatever origin, and there were many different origins, including arabic, yemeni, syrian, slav etc all from further east.

This has been translated into English as 'moor' but in English and in other areas away from the Spanish context it has other meanings.

There is no worse a phrase in history than 'the moors ruled Spain'. Various Muslims ruled most or parts of Spain for nearly 800 years would be a much better phrase. 'Moro' directly translates best into 'muslim'.

http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Moors

read this that you will know that with moors it is always that it means muslims and not black africans because the word for black africans is niga

the best is when you know your own history and learn your own history and the problem with africans is they they forgot their own history when i read about one so called god of men who told his followers african history is bad and his followers should forget it.

Listen, Civilization started from Africa. The earliest human civilization started in Egypt at about 3000BC when the ancient black egyptians gathered together to form a civilization, out of which came the egyptian pyramids (an architectural wonder of sort with to such a wonderful precision which still dazzles modern science of today), mathematics, philosophy, astrology, philosophy etc. Egypt was at its might during ancient times and can be likened to the position of America in the world today. Nationals from Rome, Greece, Persia, paid visits to Egypt to learn from her civilization. The earliest 'white' civilization is traced to the Romans and Greeks who were to surface in world history in 800BC i.e. about 2200 years after the Egyptian civilization. The Romans and Greeks learned from Egyptian temple priests and took their knowledge with them back to Rome and Greece where they wrote their books and equally admitted in their books that they learned from the egyptian priests first hand. Ancient Egyptians were already practising mathematics (the pythagoras theorem with which they used to build the pyramids. The pythagoras theory in mathematics which is wrongly attributed to Pythagoras actually came from the Egyptians for they knew that the longest side of a right angled triangle can be taken from the square root of the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other 2 sides. They had formulas for finding the area of shapes etc). 2000 years later, Egypt was invaded by the romans, their temples destroyed and their books and knowledge carted away. Egypt fell under Roman occupation and became a colony of Rome from about 300BC to 4AD/5AD when the Roman empire fell and Europe was plunged into intellectual darkness.

sorry that is not tru it is mesopotamia and this is older than egypt

The history of Mesopotamia describes the history of the area known as Mesopotamia, roughly coinciding with the Tigris–Euphrates basin, from the earliest human occupation in the Lower Paleolithic period up to the Muslim conquests in the 7th century AD. This history is pieced together from evidence retrieved from archaeological excavations and, after the introduction of writing in the late 4th millennium BC, an increasing amount of historical sources. While in the Paleolithic and early Neolithic periods only parts of Upper Mesopotamia were occupied, the southern alluvium was settled during the late Neolithic period. Mesopotamia has been home to many of the oldest major civilizations, entering history from the Early Bronze Age, for which reason it is often dubbed the cradle of civilization. The rise of the first cities in southern Mesopotamia dates to the Chalcolithic (Uruk period), from c. 5300 BC; its regional independence ended with the Achaemenid conquest in 539 BC, although a few native neo-Assyrian kingdoms existed at different times, namely Adiabene, Osroene and Hatra.

the oldest writing is from this place

Egypt fell under Roman occupation and became a colony of Rome from about 300BC to 4AD/5AD when the Roman empire fell and Europe was plunged into intellectual darkness.

Thus the Romans lost the knowledge which they had learned from the Egyptians, marking the beginning of the dark ages (also known as the middle ages - a period characterized by stuntness in growth of useful world learning and advancement) until year 711 when the black moors of North Africa who were Muslims invaded Spain through the Strait of Gibraltar and conquered Spain, Portugal and the Southern Part of France, establishing the Islam religion in Iberia (Portugal, Spain, France). The moors took knowledge with them to Europe and brought again learning and civilization to Europe.

The Spanish occupation by the Moors began in 711 AD when an African army, under their leader Tariq ibn-Ziyad, crossed the Strait of Gibraltar from northern Africa and invaded the Iberian peninsula ‘Andalus' (Spain under the Visigoths).

2. A European scholar sympathetic to the Spaniards remembered the conquest in this way:

a. [T]he reins of their (Moors) horses were as fire, their faces black as pitch, their eyes shone like burning candles, their horses were swift as leopards and the riders fiercer than a wolf in a sheepfold at night . . . The noble Goths [the German rulers of Spain to whom Roderick belonged] were broken in an hour, quicker than tongue can tell. Oh luckless Spain! [i]

[i] Quoted in Edward Scobie, The Moors and Portugal's Global Expansion, in Golden Age of the Moor, ed Ivan Van Sertima, US, Transaction Publishers, 1992, p.336

3. The Moors, who ruled Spain for 800 years, introduced new scientific techniques to Europe, such as an astrolabe, a device for measuring the position of the stars and planets. Scientific progress in Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography and Philosophy flourished in Moorish Spain

4. Basil Davidson, one of the most noted historians recognized and declared that there were no lands at that time (the eighth century) "more admired by its neighbours, or more comfortable to live in, than a rich African civilization which took shape in Spain"

5. At its height, Córdova, the heart of Moorish territory in Spain, was the most modern city in Europe. The streets were well-paved, with raised sidewalks for pedestrians. During the night, ten miles of streets were well illuminated by lamps. (This was hundreds of years before there was a paved street in Paris or a street lamp in London.) Cordova had 900 public baths - we are told that a poor Moor would go without bread rather than soap!

6. The Great Mosque of Córdoba (La Mezquita) is still one of the architectural wonders of the world in spite of later Spanish disfigurements. Its low scarlet and gold roof, supported by 1,000 columns of marble, jasper and and porphyry, was lit by thousands of brass and silver lamps which burned perfumed oil.

7. Education was universal in Moorish Spain, available to all, while in Christian Europe ninety-nine percent of the population were illiterate, and even kings could neither read nor write. At that time, Europe had only two universities, the Moors had seventeen great universities! These were located in Almeria, Cordova, Granada, Juen, Malaga, Seville, and Toledo.

8. In the tenth and eleventh centuries, public libraries in Europe were non-existent, while Moorish Spain could boast of more than seventy, of which the one in Cordova housed six hundred thousand manuscripts.

9. Over 4,000 Arabic words and Arabic-derived phrases have been absorbed into the Spanish language. Words beginning with "al," for example, are derived from Arabic. Arabic words such as algebra, alcohol, chemistry, nadir, alkaline, and cipher entered the language. Even words such as checkmate, influenza, typhoon, orange, and cable can be traced back to Arabic origins.

10. The most significant Moorish musician was known as Ziryab (the Blackbird) who arrived in Spain in 822. The Moors introduced earliest versions of several instruments, including the Lute or el oud, the guitar or kithara and the Lyre. Ziryab changed the style of eating by breaking meals into separate courses beginning with soup and ending with desserts.

11. The #Moors introduced paper to Europe and Arabic numerals, which replaced the clumsy Roman system.

12. The Moors introduced many new crops including the orange, lemon, peach, apricot, fig, sugar cane, dates, ginger and pomegranate as well as saffron, sugar cane, cotton, silk and rice which remain some of Spain's main products today.

13. The Moorish rulers lived in sumptuous palaces, while the monarchs of Germany, France, and England dwelt in big barns, with no windows and no chimneys, and with only a hole in the roof for the exit of smoke. One such Moorish palace ‘Alhambra' (literally "the red one"wink in Granada is one of Spain's architectural masterpieces. Alhambra was the seat of Muslim rulers from the 13th century to the end of the 15th century. The Alhambra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

14. It was through Africa that the new knowledge of China, India, and Arabia reached Europe The #Moors brought the Compass from China into Europe.

15. The Moors ruled and occupied Lisbon (named "Lashbuna" by the Moors) and the rest of the country until well into the twelfth century. They were finally defeated and driven out by the forces of King Alfonso Henriques. The scene of this battle was the Castelo de Sao Jorge or the 'Castle of St. George.'

Spain (Europe) and Morocco (Africa) are so close together that you can see both countries from each side of each continent:
http://i.imgur.com/9NTwF.jpg?1[/img]

You could literally cross over from Morocco into Spain by speed boat in less than 10 minutes.

The Moors brought enormous learning to Spain that over centuries would percolate through the rest of Europe.

The intellectual achievements of the Moors in Spain had a lasting effect; education was universal in Moorish Spain, while in Christian Europe, 99 percent of the population was illiterate, and even kings could neither read nor write. At a time when Europe had only two universities, the Moors had seventeen, located in Almeria, Cordova, Granada, Juen, Malaga, Seville, and Toledo.

In the 10th and 11th centuries, public libraries in Europe were non-existent, while Moorish Spain could boast of more than 70, including one in Cordova that housed hundreds of thousands of manuscripts. Universities in Paris and Oxford were established after visits by scholars to Moorish Spain.

It was this system of education, taken to Europe by the Moors, that seeded the European Renaissance and brought the continent out of the 1,000 years of intellectual and physical gloom of the Middle Ages.

After the end of the Moorish period in Iberia (Europe) came the Renaissance period, marked by the revival of interest and learning in arts and science. Europe grew and expanded ever since.

The Moors ruled for over 800 years in Europe until 1492 when they were finally expelled from Spain by Isabella back to Morocco. By 1800 America (the new world) was coming into world power. The expellation of the moors (blacks) was a great victory for the whites in the history of whites. The period of Moorish presence in Spain began the signification of 'black' as evil (the domination of islam over christianity in spain and consequently 'black', being the colour of the moors, being synonymous with the islam religion), thus giving birth to the earliest racial sentiments against the black people. It is said that before the Moors left they handed over a map of how to get to the Americas. 8 months later in 1492 using the map handed over to him, Columbus set out for his voyage to America (the new world) where he met the Red Indians. Transatlantic slavery of black africans was soon to start immediately, in early 1500s and reaching its peak between 1600 and 1700s and ending in the 1800s.

The dominion of the blacks in spain was something europe was never to have again. Thus began the subjugation of the black african people as 'lower' beings, blotting of the african history and rewriting of history, attribution of earliest human inventions to people of caucasian origin (philosophy attributed to aristotle who mentioned that he learned from the egyptians, pythagoras theorem which the ancient egyptians used in building the pyramids attributed pythagoras a greek man etc), the attempts to 'white-wash' ancient egypt and claim its civilization to be 'white' civilization or non-african or 'aryan' despite overwhelming evidence seen from the mummies of dead pharoahs, egyptian depictions of themselves as a black people, egyptian reference to themselves as 'kemet' (black, khawm, ham), DNA and skin test evidence performed on some of these mummies that revealed sub-saharan ancestry and high melanin pigmentation (blacks have high melanin content in their skin, whites lack melanin. Melanin is responsible for the colouration of the human body) etc that prove the ancient egyptians were a black people.

One of the earliest universities in the world is the University of Timbuktu in Mali but you will never hear of this part of history. It has been totally ignored and sidelined and European universities glorified instead.

The Renaissance period of Europe saw the representation of several African figures as whites. In Christianity, Jesus Christ and His Mother, Mary, who were black were represented as white people. The Pope in Rome, obviously knowing the truth, prays in front of a black mother mary and baby jesus. Beethoven who was described as a 'blackamor' is said to have been represented as 'white'. The 18th century saw the rise and spread of white superiority and black inferiority theories all over Europe and America. Several tactics have been used to ingrain mentally into the black people of some 'inferiority' complex, which unfortunately till today, majority of blacks are still suffering from it. They have been told several times without number that they are 'inferior' and incapable of performing great things that they have come to believe it as true. Infact, some blacks would not even want to attempt greatness or invention because they believe their brains are incapable of doing such.

Till today, blacks are still suffering from this mentality and there has been several calls for blacks to emancipate themselves from mental slavery. You are no longer physically bound by chains but mentally you still think you are. However, some blacks are beginning to awaken to their original self. With knowledge, self-realization is restored, and there comes with it power of the mind and self.

The Romans interacted with (and later conquered) parts of Mauretania, a state that covered modern Morocco, western Algeria, and the Spanish cities Ceuta and Melilla during the classical period. The people of the region were noted in Classical literature as Mauri, which was subsequently rendered as "Moors" in English.[9] It is often common in modern times to apply the appellation of "Moor" or "Moors" to North Africans, especially Moroccans, although some find this derogatory.

Isidore of Seville, writing in the seventh century, claimed that the Latin word Maurus was derived from the Greek mauron, μαύρον, which is the Greek word for black.[10]
Modern meanings

In the Medieval Romance languages (such as Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian), the Latin word took such forms as moro, moir, mor, mouro and maur. From denoting a specific Berber people in western Libya, the name acquired more general meaning in the Romance languages during the medieval period, partly developing a general meaning of "Muslim", partly (much like "Saracens"wink taking a religious meaning of "infidels" in the context of the Crusades and the Reconquista.

Beside its usage in historical context, Moor and Moorish (Italian and Spanish: moro, French: maure, Portuguese: mouro, Romanian: maur) are used to designate an ethnic group speaking the Hassaniya Arabic dialect. They inhabit Mauritania and parts of Algeria, Moroccan Sahara, Tunisia, Morocco, Niger and Mali. In Niger and Mali, these peoples are also known as the Azawagh Arabs, after the Azawagh region of the Sahara.[11]

Ask yourself why it is that only the charismatic/pentecost pastors are so rich.

In america moste of the people who belong to the pentecost churches are the people with the lowest income.

We in main europa help to the poor in africa that they get food on the table and pentecost businessman make their own empire to enrich themself and the hole family.

When this change than nigeria could get a better country because politican and pentecost pastors work hand in hand in nigeria

This is a complete mockery of what Jesus stood for. No where in the bible does it state that Jesus amassed so much wealth when ever he was delivering his sermons to the multitude. He wanted to be like the poor, mingled with the sick, cavorted with the lonely and beggars and preached humility at all times. What we are witnessing today is beyond madness. Everyone wants to open a church to make money and they are all hiding under the famous slogan " Touch not my Anointed" or " My God is not a Poor God". Poverty has led to prosperity preachers making a killing in countries where the middle class has been destroyed and people clutch onto crumbs to survive. Thats why these prosperity preachers are virtually non existent in Europe where the average man can see beyond their B.S. Truthfully i don't know why people criticize politicans when prosperity preachers and politicians do the same thing.

I know that mostly nigerians go to the few pentecostal churches who preach the prosperity gospel which is heresy.

I can speak from my country that from the RCCG churches who are listen on the homepage of the headquater are only 3 are real the rest is fake it is only that it looks good for the other who many churches he has.

NIgeria has to run away from this churches and to get good politicans than nigeria will change.

Why RCCG didnot get his feet in main europa and businessman adeboye comes only every second year because the money he get from this churches is not very much and for this he need a private jet, what a fake pastor

Did you just wake from a six year coma?

While you were in coma:

Bush ended his presidency since 2008.

There's now a brutal organization called ISIS. They are more satanic than Alqaeda that you used to know.

You can google the rest to update yourself.

when you didnot know something please keep quiet, I have family in iraq, and the problem startet with bush because after they got sadam hussain they work together with the shiites and leaf the sunny behind and there are also the fighters from the army from sadam and this fighters together with this one head are ISIS.
We didnot know whatwould be if america didnot help sadam to fight IRAn that was the start of all the problems what we face now and also when america start to help the taliban in afganistan to fight against russia.
America is no angel america is the devil

Thank you Sir, what we are facing today is an Arabianic colonisation. How can we have book that says Christians, Jews and others should be killed and yet we enshrine it in our constitution as one of the religions because many people are practising it. What diffrence is Islam with Cults that call others whom they hate "Jews"? I still stand to say arabic should be banned, let every preacher preach in the Language we all understand

In austria we found is out when a newspaper could get books from the private school from saudi arabia in my country that the kids lean in the school to hate other religions and now this school have to close the doors at the end of the schoolyear.

What nowbody knows is that saudia arabia teach in their schools the hate of other religions.

Nigeria should stop that the goverment help the peopel to go to mekka and also that chchristians can go the israel

State should be state and religion should be private.

Typical of a normal sermon in the mosque. I salute Germany that says every sermon should now be written in German. If you are bold as a muslim declare your prayers in English or the Common language where you use those microphones to disturb people. We are not ignorant any more. We now now how you curse us in the name of Praying.

we here in europa we work and in my country it will not allowed that an iman get paid from an other country and he has to follow the law of my country and germany want the same law what he have since about one week so he can look what the imam teach the kids in the school and what he preach in the mosque

Haha ! The same Obama that funded ISIS with $500million back in 2013...Oh I forgot back then they were called "Syrian freedom fighters". People need to wake up. The west are very well involved in this. They eliminated Saddam , Destroyed Iraq . They funded rebels in Syria, Weakened the Syrian army / government and then all of a sudden ISIS springs up from NOWHERE! They played the same script out with Gadaffi and the Libyan government back in 2012 and guess who show's up in Libya a few years later? ISIS! The whole arab spring was a hoax, the real deal was to start the end time tribulation and the Armageddon. These Western powers are all evil. Gaddafi and Assad wouldn't succumb so they decided to destroy their country. I really don't know what ISIS is yet or what their agenda but I know that there are forces , powerful forces behind them.

Obama sends $500milion to Syrian Freedom fighters A.K.A ISIS http://www.wsj.com/articles/obama-proposes-500-million-to-aid-syrian-rebels-1403813486

Obama sends $195million to the same group

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-marks-end-ramadan-another-195m-syria

it was not obama please learn history it was bush the same bush who helt that sadam gots big bush need an enemy for 9/11 but also america show the al quaida how they have to fight.

We have the problem now because america what to fight russia when we have the cold war since this time the islam terrorist are working.and got educatet from the american CIA

God bless you for this.

It seems people don't know the gravity of what's unfolding. I want to believe these people don't have the opportunity to watch the news on foreign TV stations or read foreign newspapers. ISIS is no idle threat.

There is serious FIRE on the mountain and something needs to be done ASAP.

In same countries, the president would have summoned all the country's security chiefs immediately to a closed door emergency meeting to discuss this move by Boko haram.

But our clueless president, GEJ won't do anything. I won't be surprised if he's off to another church tomorrow (spritual prostitution is what's he's good at) and then off to another campaign rally on monday.
