We are witnesses to the end of an era of money-bags politic . All thanks to the man Jega who has carved a niche in Nigeria's electioneering . This is just the beginning, over time, responsible people would aspire for key positions and win.
If it ain't PDP's rigging, how would a criminal/tout beat a well known and respected retired school principal in a local govt election?
God works in mysterious ways and when He says its time for deliverance , nothing can stop it.

Its so obvious that the modes are bias or have been compromised. The increase of TAN robots to nairaland is alarming.

You're happy that GEJ who could not do anything about the islamic sect in almost six years all of sudden has found a way to defeat them in six weeks

You're happy that Buhari who has been rumoured to be receiving treatment in a UK hospital actually spoke in chatham house for an hour when PDP said he can't stand for five minutes

You're happy that an incumbent president has no achievement to drive him into a second tenure instead is shamefully attacking the personality of the opposition.

Op you gat wise up.

Muhammed Buhari is a different man to different people some call him a religion fanatic, but majorities of right thinking people know buhari as a displinarian ,honest and incorruptible man, those who hates buhari with passion and dont want him to be president were the civil servants on an
annual salaries of less than 500,000 but with 17 houses in abuja,10 in lagos and 15 in p/ harcourt, the corrupt polticians, the kidnappers, the rebels called millitants, boko haram and their smypathizers and other criminals,,if we truly want a change,if we truly love
our country let all of us unite to send the criminals at the helm of affair away in 2015,we should shun violence and any act that can disrupt the electoral

If I have not been meeting lecturers, lawyers , doctors and people of intellect from the south south who do not support the present administration, I would have lost hope completely in Nigeria as a country . I remain an idealist and hope we will get to our destination. Part of APC 's manifesto is true federalism. For crying put loud, why won't I give them a try?
Its general knowledge that the presidential aspirant of the APC doesn't tolerate corruption, impunity and nepotism. This is the kind of leader that the country needs.
Nigeria in the next four years under PDP would have reached the point of no return. Let's kick them out please!

A good look at both supporters is very revealing . On one side is a group of people across ethnic lines, showing unity in diversity. The supporters of Buhari /Osinbajo looked more responsible, comprised of people of different ages and were more comported . The protesters however look like low lifers and irresponsible individuals. They were definitely hired for the protest. This is how it is here on nairaland as well .
Most people with sense that I have spoken to are truly against the present administration citing many reasons.

You have a zero economic knowledge. Go to Russia or Venezuela and see how their economic is nose diving. Nigeria depends solely on oil to survive, likewise the countries i listed above. What ever that happen to oil price will affects us good or bad. Thank God this present government is paying great attention to agriculture to diversify our sources of income.
My friend, oil price isnt the major cause of the high and unprecedented exchange rates. The high demand for dollars caused by loose money available for corruption/stealing by our politicians is a major factor. The demand is to convert naira to a stable currency in preparations for eventualities.
I guess oil price is also the cause of corruption and impunity in Nigeria right? Eh!!!? Mr knowledge of economics.

We vote him out as we would vote Gej out next month. The onus of electing good people to govern us is on us through our votes. When these thieving politicians realise we can send them out or even send them to jails, they would take their offices/positions seriously . Its why I am solidly behind the card reader/ PVC and later electronic voting after amendments of the constitution in that regard.

If you are still a supporter of the PDP amid high exchange rates, devaluation of the naira, gross impunity and economy-killing corruption, you need no one to states your problems- Moronic and insane.

Any sane person would have deciphered that the ruling party had stage managed the crisis to their political benefit not knowing it would backfire. All attempts to hang boko haram sponsorship on the opposition party has failed.
I dare say that, if the president acknowledged the presence of boko haram in his cabinet and till date no sponsor or sympathiser have been caught and purnised, he himself and his cabinet are the orchestrators of the insurgency. Obj handled BH well and so did Yardua.
A good look at samples of pics of dead BH fighters would leave one with the big question; are these the fighters that scared the Nigerian army? To the point of taking to their heels ?

All these sponsored articles/ stories are getting boring by the day.

GEJ and his supporters are becoming paranoid to the extent that anyone that legitimately criticizes his administration is automatically an enemy.

This is the key issue- If GEJ delivered on his electoral promises, no amount of plotting will sway Nigerians from voting for him.

We need PDP sponsored articles to explain why the Dollar is now N201, we need explanations why the army failed in curbing BH in the last 6 years and less than 6 weeks to a postponed election, they are miraculously making inroads into BH controlled territories. We need insights as to why corrupt allegations against his Ministers have being ignored.

The truth is that Nigerians are tired of GEJ, we want change! The only alternative we have is Buhari

Waste of charisma this ffk is. He lied about many things and did so with a straight face. See how love for money and cocaine can ruin and individual? Its an indictment of the presidents clueless nature to have appointed such as director of media and publicity of the PDP .
Ameachi didn't seem worried though I felt he was too forward in response to some of the questions asked.
All I see in the PDP is a party that thrives on lies and no good developmental plan for Nigeria .

Politics / Categories Of Voters And Their Pattern Of Voting. by ogbronx(m): 5:41pm On Feb 22, 2015
1.Those satisfied with the status quo.
These are the complacent . They include the wealthy who benefit from the system mostly due corruption and impunity, thugs and criminals.

2.The ignorant and uninformed .
These are mostly uneducated(notice I didn't say illiterates) people. They know little about politics and the shenanigan of our politicians. You find these group of people all around.

3. The bigoted.
There is nothing much to say about this group. You only need a few words from their mouth to know they are mentally enslaved in ethnic and religious matters.

4. Educated , enlightened and morally upright.
These group are opposites of the groups mentioned above. They have a sound understanding of the polity and the trick politicians employ to deceive the gullible. Free-minded people with a broader scope to life and good governance.

5. The nonchalant / undecided
These are the i-dont-care class who are oblivious of the impact or power of their votes. Many do not believe in the system and feel all politicians are the same. Others want a change but feel the opposition offers nothing new.

On pattern of their votes, It would be Pertinent to state that there are many political parties but only two are recognised by Nigerians ;
For the PDP- mostly group 1,2,3, few of 5
The APC - group 2,3, 4 and few of 5.

GenBuhari:
What nonsense!

So fleeing insurgents have time to secure jobs. Whilst hiding their guns in their underwear. It would make more sense if it was said that terrorist have been planted in communities ready to be activated when required.

We are going to have to endure an endless stream of fake news stories about a fake war against fake jihadists, whilst the real purpose is to distract us from finding out what is really happening to our country.

America is supporting France to bomb and take over Nigerian territory using puppet countries: Chad, Cameroon and Niger with the full collusion of our compromised and blackmailed government. All under the false pretext of fighting Boko Haram who are funded and run by America's CIA.

So called Boko Haram insurgents are Chadian and Cameroonian troops in mufti.

All for the purpose of breaking up Nigeria before we can get a chance to elect a competent government that would put an end to its economic exploitation of Nigeria.

APC should install a parallel government immediately.

I will not talk in affirmation about things I am not really sure of but I think you have sound points that I agree with, I agree that this news is fake and intended to spread fear about the elections. I also agree with you that western powers won't want Nigeria to have a good government with economic prudence that would lead to real development in terms of human and natural resources.
The other side of your theory for now are very plausible but could also be speculations. One question still remains to be asked though. How come we still don't know the sponsors of boko haram after 6 years of its existence? There is more than meets the eye on this BH thing.
I suspect that the fg knows about BH but could have been handling it with kit gloves to undermine the chances of the opposition.
