I can count 22 women in my circle who have gone to school , worked and got where they have and it's not been through inherited funds or the sponsorship of some benefector. The author included. You tend to paint all the women as inept. Some are true but men are included but this is a country of many. You seem to forget that. Now my ex wanted to run her HND program. Her parents said she is not the only child of theirs and that they can't sponsor her again. I singlehandedly stood for her, because once you say you love a Nigerian girl, you already owe her money. While she depended on me for school fees, house rent and wears, she was depending on random guys for recharge cards, shoes, wigs etc. She would at times go to her parents to pack food stuff in the house and left with transport fare alone.
