- Industrialisation

- Debt profile, etc

I am ready to face you in this debate based on these following points that defines development.

I am ready to face you in this debate based on these following points that defines development.

[s][/s]

Industrialization

Imo State leads the Southeast by a very wide margin in tourism and hospitality industry. It's a unarguable fact that even the blindest can attest to.

Aviation

Imo Airport is presently the 4th busiest Airport in Nigeria well ahead of Kano and growing steadily.

Job creation/Unemployment

I have no verifiable statistics to rely on in commenting on this one. If you do, you can show us here.

Overall infrastructural development

Owerri is the 3rd fastest developing city in Nigeria now while several cities are presently under heavy construction as I mentioned earlier. Example Orlu has more dual carriageways than Onitsha which is a bigger city.

Education

Imo leads in everything education from Waec(3rd in 2017) to Jamb to professional courses to Professors to Doctors and in fact everything. Lowest literacy rate in Nigeria ahead of Lagos.

Health

We need not over emphasize on health as no Southeast State has the quality of the 27 government hospitals either completed or nearly completed across Imo State which is different from equally hundreds of primary health care centers, Umuguma specialist, Ochiedike diagnostic and Iml 24 hours emergency center.

Debt profile

Imo is now the least externally indebted State in Southeast. Anambra is now the most indebted. Internal debt is subject to manipulation and can therefore not be used as yardstick.

- Industrialisation: Anambra state is the most industrialised state in the SE both local and foriegn. Imo state people run to live and work in Anambra as their greener pasture.

- Job creation: Imo state has failed woefully in providing employment to it's people. Today Imo state is a total failed state.

- Overall infrastructural development: Awka, Onitsha and Anambra in general are the fastest developing areas in Nigeria today. It is on record and on ground that Anambra has the best road networks across the state. For example, Nnewi has better road infrastructure than Owerri which is the biggest town in Imo state. Nnewi equally has better and bigger economy than Owerri which is the biggest town in Imo state. Nnewi has large population of Imolites that have left their state in drove.

- Education: Anambra has the best educational system. Anambra has represented Nigeria at the world stage on several occassion while Imo state has continued to be relegated to the background.

- Health: It is very clear to all that the best health institutions in Imo state which are IMSUTH and IMSU are mere poultry farm today. If fact the only road that leads to IMSUTH is in a mess. All the hospitals in Imo state are dead. You cannot begin to talk about Anambra that has some of the best health institutions in Nigeria with a dead state as Imo state.

- Agriculture: A google search alone does it for you..lol

- Debt profile: Imo state is the most indebted state in the entire SE and SS while Anambra is the least indebted state in Nigeria.

- Aviation- Imo airport is a mere motor park shade, stop calling that nonsense an airport because Imo state does not have an airport yet. Anambra is developing the best airport in Nigeria today.

Infrastructure:

This below road project is over 40km stretch in Awka and beyond. The dual-way is thrice longer than all the dual-carriageways in the whole of Imo state put together. Awka has made Owerri to look like a village.

Chino you are funny. Anambra as a State is so small that Owerri area is bigger than Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi combined. A 40 km road will run frkm Onitsha to Awka and back to Nnewi.

1 Literacy rate

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by LasGidiOwner: 10:07am On Mar 18, 2018
See how to test educational excellence. Anambra has the highest cut off mark in federal government Unity schools. Hehehehe

While the Federal Government is keen on promoting nationwide cohesion and educational development, its unity schools’ admission policy is considered an invitation to chaos and mediocrity, Head, Education Desk, IYABO LAWAL reports.

A young girl seeking admission into any of the country’s 104 Federal Government Colleges (Unity Schools) from Anambra State must score 139 points out of a possible 300 to stand a chance of being taken.

Take it easy with your lies. All of Imo State cities and towns are receiving facelift. All the major markets in all the villages are under total reconstruction to something more appealing. While other Governors are making noise about dualisation 104 years after amalgamation even smaller towns like Amaraku are endowed with dualised roads, modern market and decent development courtesy Okorocha that you hate and write lies against. Today a 15km dual carriageway is under construction from Mgbidi to Oguta cutting across heart of Oguta city.

Okorocha is a silent revolutionist and wherever he points is where all of us will follow and victory is assured.

Meanwhile the installation of highpower solar streetlights continues in Okigwe where a brand new stadium and 8 lane ring road is also nearing completion.

Glad that you and gov Okorocha are gradually coming to understand that Imo state is not Owerri; though belated.

8-lane Ring Road in Okigwe nearing completion?

Thank goodness. But please show us the Okigwe Ring Road here for proof; assuming you understand what a City Ring Road is.

Another important fact you Chino need to understand is that the IMSU photos you post were taken during Ohakim time as Governor and not now. IMSU is highly improved now though I don't have enough photos. This is a hint of the present day IMSU.

Yours is fake. This is the most up-to-date and verifiable external debt data. Internal debt is subject to manipulation.

Anambra is 85 billion and Imo 62 billion.

Abagworo:

Take it easy with this gibberish.
Gibberish?

Gov. Okorocha brought gibberish, hatred, grudge and destruction to government house, to political leadership. He targeted and destroyed things built by his predecessors whom he brands opponents

1; immediately after becoming governor of Imo state, Okorocha started to dismantle the roofs of Sam Okwaraji Stadium, Orlu, built by a reputed construction company which specializes in stadium and sports arena construction. The stadium was rendered useless thereafter, no organised sports in it till today. Today the seats and floodlights of the stadium are decayed.

2; after rendering the Imo state University teaching hospital (IMSUTH) in Orlu comatose state, by refusing for five years to repair the road to the institution, as well as owe arrears of salaries to IMSUTH workers, Okorocha set up a committee in 2016 to relocate IMSUTH to Owerri. He intends to trade IMSUTH with Owerri for his private Eastern Palm University in his community in Ideato south lga.

Okorocha is believed to be waiting to implement the recommendation of his IMSUTH Relocation committee if and when his son-in-law becomes governor of Imo state. A pointer to this is Okorocha's continued refusal to repair the road to IMSUTH.

3; The roads to the Imo international market Orlu were scrapped and abandoned since 2012 by Okorocha government.
Only a tiny alleyway leads to this market which hosts mire than 40,000 visitors a day.

A state governor who deserts and inflicted huge punishment upon the people and area that gave him the highest support and number of votes is bizarre.

Gentlemen men and women, Imo state is finished. Just look at this. cheesy

As at 2015 the internal debt of Imo state under Okorocha has risen to 71 billion.

While external debt rose from 50billion in 2015 to 100billion in 2018.

The question is, what did Okorocha do with almost 200billion plus the 26billion bailout funds?

Lovely pics of IMSU, Owerri

But: a state governor, Rochas Okorocha, establishes another IMSU Campus in the same Owerri senatorial zone which hosts all the three public universities in Imo state;

thereafter, the same state governor set up a committee to relocate Imo state University teaching hospital from Orlu to the same Owerri.

No former governor of Imo state agreed to build a lasting infrastructure on the present site of IMSU in Owerri because it's believed the site can't host IMSU.

Owerri-born Evan Enwerem defied equity and zoning principle when he located IMSU in Owerri, he was shown suitable sites outside Owerri, yet he defied pleas to locate IMSU outside Owerri zone which then hosted and still hosts FUTO, AICE and POLYNEKEDE.

Lots of rats smelling, lots of skeleton in governor Okorocha's cupboard, vis a vis his rush to make most of Imo state come to live in Owerri.
