77up, that is a nice piece written there. You don't actually have to watch (if the update are real and detailed) to decipher HMs personalities to an extent. Teddy has these carriage that even if he tries to behave like a Nina, he will still be perceived as arrogant. Some people just effortlessly have that Alpha personality. My friend's name is Hildah, a very good Muslima. I have Maureen too, Muslima as well. Where as, I have Halima and Mariam, my Christian friends too. None reverted or converted. It's their birth name.

Ideally, there shouldn't be anything like Muslim name or Christian name. These names come in languages and language shouldn't be monopolized by any faith.

Muslims bearing Arabic names seem the norm and very understandable but some parents aren't interested in the language as long as the meaning is good. Even Arab Christians bear Arabic names. It doesn't affect the belief.

Some of us will even prefer native names. Sweet names like Ifunaya, Ifelewa, Soyaiya, Oyisi et al. It's just preference I think. My opinion though

Some places are good for service but with bad camping situations. Camping in my chosen state(s) will sha be like visiting that state.

I'm done with my registration. I tried to make payment with my ATM using my phone, all was going well until I got the stage where I was asked to put the OTP that was sent to my mobile phone. I'm yet to see any message on my phone since last night that I tried it. please what could be the problem?

Another issue! While network sometimes play a role in payment delay, using an invalidated ATM card for online transaction strangles payment processes too and in high degree. While I cannot proffer a definite solution to this problem, I want to advise that you transfer the required amount to your family or friends whose cards are validated for it... In fact, it's easier if you can wire the said amount to another (trusted) PCM who has done his/hers to help you with. send him/her your email and NYSC portal password. That worked for me, perhaps it should help you too....

This is so much a big issue in many cyber cafés and it's not usually Network as people are made to believe. some of these cafés don't have java installed on their system and while most do though, a lot of the peeps don't know they need to download and install the NYSC biometric app. I don't know if other apps can be used but I do know this was what rectified the problem in the cafe I did mine yesterday. no one was able to thumb print on 20th in that café as I heard, until a lady raised the app issue and that was the solution...

People should ask the cafe attendants what biometric app they use...

Lag and Abj are usually set aside for omo baba olowos and foreign trained students. just few are mobilized there without 'working' it so it's quite easy to give you Lag because you chose two jagaban places... God's blessings involved so I will say you were lucky...

Why is it that some schools have uploaded in NYSC website, while others are still compiling names?
Each university had the same amount of time to prepare, but it seem as if some (eg. my institution) were waiting for the deadline.
As it seems now, this week officially ends tomorrow (Thursday) for Government workers, and resumes again on Tuesday because of the Easter Holiday.
So if nothing happens tomorrow, then the wait will begin again on Tuesday, not forgetting that Online registration begins on Thursday.
I think some universities should learn from their proactive colleagues, and stop creating unnecessary tension amongst her students.

UPDATE FOR FUT MINNA PCMs : A friend was in school yesterday (Dept n Student affairs in G.K). The student affairs are yet to finish compiling the list they received from the dept and Academic office and as such our list will b forwarded hopefully next week. Disregard any info about names been sent to nysc to avoid panic and confusion. Also, the sch is no longer in charge of sending the names directly to nysc. They will only send qualified graduands to jamb and NYSC will extract the names through their own database(I.e JAMB).

So why should we bother about those who aren't sincere in their religious obligations? Personally, I am too busy trying to get better than focus on religious hypocrites. They are answerable to their Lord, not you or me.
