1. Writing system
2. Publicly elected leadership
3. Oldest site of a bronze casting site and the date of the earliest artefacts.
4. Date of publishing of earliest known writer.
5. Ethnic placenames in the Americas.
6. Most widely used words in Caribbean creoles, and even words in many dictionaries including English.
7. Most prominent person ever in the diaspora who has claimed descent.
8. GDP of countries where the language is an officially recognised minority language.
9. Communities that abolished slavery before the 1800s.
10. Amount of wars and the longest fought against the British.
11. Oldest kingdom.
12. Post pictures of most impressive civil and military architectures.

After you've posted the Yoruba equivalents and I've posted the Igbo, we'll see whether there is our isn't Igbo culture to talk of.[/s]

Nigeria is a man-made entity and will take the intellect only found in man to disintegrate it. USSR was once a powerful nation with dominate culture which conjured an image that demanded respect around the world yet disintegrated. Nigeria is farm camp and useless one for that matter.

The Ibo nation is too small and inchoate culturally to compare itself to Yoruba. Ibo should compare themselves with the likes of Efik,Urhobo,Isoko etc those are nations of similar size and political development. They did not advance from the Umunna or tribal level of political organization before colonization and there is really no history to talk about.
Is there any account of any Ibo Nation that anyone can tell us here. The simple answer is No. A very loud Mba!!
Is there anyone trying to copy Ibo culture ,learn Ibo language or Ibonize ? I doubt tht very much .No one wants to copy the Ibo ways or style. I certainly am not planning to buy any red baby hats

Foreign reserves are not SAVINGS. They do not BELONG to the Government. Nigeria produces next to nothing and needs forex to pay for our huge appetite for imported goods.
Think OBJECT >Mirror> Image.

The Foreign reserve is the Object and All the Naira in circulation in the image. Without Reserves the Naira is Just a piece of paper.
Actually the naira is a certificate of Federal government Debt and the reserves are what gives that certificate value
So you can see the Reserves do not belong to goverment but to everyone who has Naira. If the foreign reserves disappeared today You might be buying a Coke for 20 Million naira just like Zimbabwe a few years ago

'In the Prophet is a perfect exemplar'. Even Allah says that in the holy Qur'an,
I beg you to show me where in the Quran Allah says this? It would appear that you are prepared to even LIE AGAINST ALLAH just to win an argument
Unfortunately many so called muslims know the Quran by Hearsay and Rumor and have NEVER READ IT themselves. What the Quran says is that he is a "good example" NOT "best example" and CERTAINLY not "perfect" example.

33.21 Verily in the messenger of Allah ye have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the Last Day, and remembereth Allah much.

How any one can stretch this words to mean people should wear short trousers or whatever is a total mystery
Islam for Muslims / Re: The Prayer For Solar And Lunar Eclipse by 0monnakoda: 4:27pm On Nov 04, 2013
Too many words brings lies.
The prophet is not God.
The words of the Prophet are NOT the word of Gord.
According to Islam ONLY the Quran is the WORD of God.
Whether or NOT Hadiths are a TRUE representation of the words of the prophet are subject to arguments bitterness and bloodshed. So The claim that the Prophet said so and so is debatable.Even if not so .The prophet SAID at least one thing which was wrong. He was after all A MAN. I already gave the Sura above so I won't repeat it

My point regarding the EXEMPLAR issue is simple DO NOT MISREPRESENT IT.
I am saying the prophet lived over a thousand years ago and he lived within a certain technological context. For example he did not use Showers,Electriity etc those things which he did use have NO RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE. They were just the technology of that time. So the fact that he wore Short trousers does not mean we should do so and if we do we must understand why.

The Prophet married a child Is that the EXAMPLE WE SHOULD ENCOURAGE TODAY
The prophet may have liberated some slaves but he actively encouraged his followers to keep slaves and to marry them even by force "THOSE WHOM YOUR RIGHT HAND POSSESS" i.e those taken by Force.
Many muslims elevate the Prophet to a deity who could do no wrong and this is misguided. He was NOT PERFECT
Read Sura Abasa 80.1
More Importantly

THE PROPHET NEVER CLAIMED TO BE PERFECT.

At the moment it does not seem to have moved from concept to plan. I believe it will but LASG has a problem with communication and carrying people along. In that regard it is typically "Nigerian". The recent "buy back" of the concession rights to the Lekki Road is a good example. One that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Now we have another example of PRIME land "ACQUIRED" by government for "Public Use" which ultimately will end up as an "Asset" on the Balance Sheet of a private company. While one supports the idea of additional airports in Lagos I am afraid that this government of Lagos has too many secrets on how it runs its affairs

fabolakers: Don't use IJN to Replace In Jesus Name because when you get attacked, you don't expect to say the Blood of J and expect something to happen. His name is Jesus and that's a Name above all names so next time you think about using IJN after sharing a Prayer with someone especially on social networks, think about that because I don't think you can command anything when you keep screaming IJN. Happy Sunday to Everybody and Make sure you pray for our Lovely Country Nigeria because there is no place like Home.

Attacked? By Whom? Ronaldo or Messi.? No one is attacking Dangote or Bill Gates so why will they attack an inconsequential you.
The whole corporate Pentecostal Industry thrives on that idea that someone is coming to attack you. Truth is You are not that Important.

If you are unlucky enough to be attacked by a dog or mosquitoes which is the most likely source of attack for poor people. My advice would be to defend yourself because it won't matter whether you say IJN or any other gibberish
