bakynes: I know we supply electricity to Benin and Togo coz a church member is a top former PHCN official and people from Benin and Togo usually call him to complain they should have turned on the power switch for them. The truth is our government needs to stop supply of gas to Ghana and other west African countries at subsidized rate and satisfy us first before our neighbors. Let them go and fend for themselves it's high time we stop these supplies to our ungrateful kid sister called Ghana.I agree with you all who quoted me on this aspect but you need to understand that our govt has failed completely. We are in a globalised economy where the money in revenue is suppose to fix our power generation but we are not doing it. We just hope by doing this, we are fixing whatever problems we are having internally. Please stop giving that old rumours about we supplying electricity to togo and Benin. Ghana has taking over. You supply electricity and yet you don't have electricity, what kind of nonsense talk is that. Not quite long,Nigeria was asking congo to supply electricty to Nigeria and yet you are telling me you are supplying electricity to togo and benin--->which kine nonsense talk b dis. |
OXYGENO1: Hahahaha if you know how useless your naira is u wouldn't be talking trash here.Ghs1 =51naira.Even toilet papers are more valuable than the naira.OXYGEN01,You must be an ashanti man,I can see the hand writing on the wall. you should know better than this. Ghs1 you mentioned is equal to 10000GHc, the value is the same.in essence, you are meant to write 10000 GHc= 51 naira. Please, you can talk about anything, but never come here to write that your currency has value than the Naira(this is a big insult to me and to my country Nigeria). Zimbabwe has the worst currency in the world, they have re-denominated it just like Ghana did hers as well, would you then say 1 zim dollar is valuable than the cedi or naira ? Certainly not. Please,I know you went to school. Act and write like a literate. |
Vessi: If we were not being our brother's keeper perhaps we could have used up all those gases to generate sufficient electricity for our own people.please write with sense. Nobody is begging you to be ones brothers keeper. You pride yourself as been big but you cannot generate your own electricity. |
Ivory coast is a country I like better in the west african coast. I believe in them just like I believe in Nigeria. Not many would know this, their ways and thought is like that of the Nigerians. Where you see an anglophone (nigerian) making it abroad(US,UK), a francophone (ivorian) is doing the same (France, switzerland). I am not surprise reading them been the power-house of the french speaking west african country same as Nigeria been the power house of english speaking west african country. |
The OP wey write that thing na trash. The owner of "www.ripoffreport.com" does not have a face to come in public but instead he hides away from the public. Still,he makes his money big time. If your company is reported on "ripoffreport.com", and you want to take it off the site, you can end up paying 3000usd to 100000usd. Omo people (Seun), just do want you need do, critics must talk. |

datguru: What a hard way to die. I wonder wetin go make me kill myself for this world . Mtcheew .depression na bad thing ooo. Imagine if you put all hopes on MTCN and nothing comes off it,what do you think would happen to you. Sometimes I do not blame suicidal victims but its the environment to which they live that has neglected them. |
I shake my head for this country! |

I am beginning to shift myself away from Nairaland due to the level of thinking most nairalanders behave from their writing skills. Nairalanders are lamers! I spit on this particular thread. |
To those who stated that other countries listed there are messed up,sometimes you need to put yourself in the other side and I bet you would equally say that 'nigeria is messed up'. Sometimes, going through those places(countries) can be an open door for other countries to migrate to. Example: There are people who have been denied visa to Nigeria, but this same people get visa to a West african country and travel to Nigeria through ECOWAS road in other for them to get a visa and I tell you, they give white men visa to enter through out border post. |
Pavore9: Despite visa is on arrival in Kenya, a lot of bobos here in Kenya are living with expired visas!why so? Going to Kenya, is it truly visa on arrival? I have heard people say so. But can you truly confirm this. If so, how can one extend his visa in kenya. Just helping out a guy who wanted information about kenya. |
Timileyin: #omo, your sister don dey old o! Make I come marry your sister. |
Most of our nairalanders are clueless! |
This news is falsificado. I believe they are yet to confirm if she has ebola. The source the OP posted was that of the liberian caught at lagos airport. I was unable to open the link. The S.african lady status is yet to be known. I say this because Reuters says different and the source op gave is a different thing entirely. http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/idUKKBN0H613M20140911?irpc=932 |

nwafuluozoh: I'm just wasting fuel watching this match out of patriotism.you better watch it on nairaland like what I am doing. |

This thing is likely to be indefinite, if I were teachers,I would start making placards advertising my service so as parents or individuals can contact me for private tutoring pending till school resumes. |
Nigerians emulating Liberians since ebola took effect. |

I hope the result turns out negative. Yesterday, I was watching DW tv(a german tv station aired in English),they were talking about ebola cases in Nigeria. Surprised that they never mentioned anything about Nigerians recovering after tested positive to Ebola; those who were isolated and responded to treatment as well as food supplement. So I wonder if what is been aired on our local news is true, I.e those ebola patient under isolation and intensive care who turned out healthy and fit after responding to treatment. |
Nigerians copying liberians since ebola case took effect. This practice is done in liberia. Back in liberia, when entering any govt or private institution, you are asked to wash your hands before entering the premises. In a day, you could wash your hands 5 times a day. |
