PetroDolla3: you are talking nonsense! how is Ghana dependent on foreign aid?alot! Mahama is going to IMF. IMF are telling us to cut down staffs, they are dictating how we would spend the money. |
PetroDolla3: an ediot like the fooool that he is. the biggest fooool in the world! you just have to wonder why shitnigerians are sooooo stvpid! don't know if it has to do with the eba they eat or the generator fumes that is destroying what is left of their tiny brainsas an african country to which we all are, we all need foreigners to invest in our country. However, Amongst we african countries, you can see the countries that are economically driven by the locals. Nigeria is one african country that is economically driven by Nigerians(which I respect). Ghana on the other hand, relies on foreign aid. It is no longer news that IMF warned Ghana about their over-reliance on foreign aid, not just that alone, but also went further to say that foreign investors can pull out their capital in a short notice. In essence, they are telling Ghana not to put their hopes on foreigners(Nigerians{banking, oil etc}, Chinese{mining etc}, lebanese{timber etc}& host of other foreigners) because of 'tomorrow'. |
RoyalPearl: This is a very silly statement. There are not even up to 10 Ghanaians on Nairaland so please don't sum up the whole Ghanaian population as hating Nigeria because of 3/4 e-warriors that engage you folks with stupid fights. The majority of the population at large do not hate Nigerians or have the time and energy to spend thinking about irrelevant crap. We have bigger problems to deal with trust me.1000 likes to you. If I may ask, what tribe are you? Ashanti or Ga? |
When will our own pigin english be in the lexicon? Or do we have one yet? |
MayorofLagos: We have to respect Ibo tradition here...cant just burn them.sir, I respect culture and tradition but why would the widow be allowed or forced to drink such dirty water or waste water as you put it? |
LaurelP: Some guys have earned that reputation of always supporting, liking comments made by ladies not because its true, but because they're ladies. This reminds of guys liking Nadia_SA, even at the slightest comment such as LOL, some foo0lish guys go LIKE the comment. Where is nadia_SA? |
Bryan12: But how did a chief security officer manage to aquire such car?what stops a CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER from acquiring such car? |
Nigeria turning into mexico/colombia. --> This is how they kill. |
davidif: So because other countries mistreat Nigerians, Nigerians should now retaliate? How childish is that? They did it to us so we must do it other people. What kind of reasoning is that? Two wrongs don't make a right..I condemn the approach been used by our agency on the foreigners but sometimes you need to take the bull by the horn. How would you take it if people keeps playing bully against you? I remembered when UK govt sanctioned iran because dey were doing or planning to do nuclear bomb. because of the sanctions, iranian students destroyed the UK embassy in tehran, the Uk govt responded by closing down iranian embassy in london. Bro, its good to retaliate to serve a warning to others. |
BoiledCorn: tunda fire that mode that hide my ftc post.Efo dun,ko need add sugar rara. |
Any Nigerian in Lesotho? |
My take on this is really bad. Having a foreign brand commercial company logo on our national Id card is like obtaining a foreign picture(image) and placing it on our postage stamp when we are suppose to be using our own local images set in Nigeria on our postage stamp. So, linking our data to the hands of MasterCard is something I do not feel OK about. At least, let us have a national pride of our own. |
Life, people descend paving way for others to ascend. Today ,Jonathan is on the seat, tomorrow, it will be another person. |
Tinyemeka: The pot is semi-porous. Minute amounts of water percolate through the pot and evaporate taking away heat of evaporation from the water left in the pot.thanks amigo. I just found out that nairaland is using the share click. |
Where are the science guys, can they explain while that pot is a coolant? Is it naturally safe to drink from the pot as to drinking from the fridge. |
Thumbs up! I love whenever she puts the ball on the run, the defenders cannot dare compete with her either in speed or stamina. She is good, I wish to see her in canada 2015. |
Davidbanky: The man who is not lost ...read your post again and again, it seems to me you have having issues with other members about what you stated. You are really lost in transit MrDavidBanky W ! |
nickxtra: How often do you cook that your 12.5kg takes you upto 3 months? Even when I was single and seldom cook, it lasted only for about 2 months, but now with my wife and baby, it does not take us upto a month. So what's your magic?I get what you mean. But I tell you, mine last me for about 4 month and if I don't cook much, its 5month. The idea of cooking and using gas depends on your cooking and what you are cooking. Example: I don't eat amala, where I have to put it on fire while steering. Anytime I cook my big pot of soup/stew,its last me for 3weeks which I do save some in the freezer. Cooking rice is sharply done. The rice we use in naija na long thing. While the cooking gas is on,U go pre-boil,wash and boil again. Why won't your gas finish. If u dey cook beans, no dey add up water,as it will take time for d water to boil in other for it to boil the beans. Bro, cooking is not only about making meal delicious but its about making good use of and managing what you have available. |
DikeOha882: If the common man should do his calculation properly, he will know that gas is cheaper to kerosine, I have been using gas since my days in the university till date. My 12.5kg last for 3 rmonths, let's assume am buying kerosine by now I would have spent more than that. Though one thing I see is that some families may find it difficult bring out the amount once to buy.I can use the size of gas for 4-5month. I guess you cook daily? What I mean is , if I am buying ingredients for soup, stew, I close my eyes to do it and buy in large quatities which I keep in freezer. I cook my soup every 3weeks. If you are cooking beans, just be precised on the amount of water that would be use for cooking it cause the more you add water, the more you consume more gas. This can be applied to food like rice. |
Davidbanky: When u see a point, don't rush to prove me wrong all in the name of patriotism, all am saying is, why is pizza, burger, cheese, and the rest seem to be seen as cool food than out own locally made stuffs, and I brought a point that naming would have contributed it's part in the unacceptance, it's just a point, am not imposing it on u, is my own side of the story, if u don't accept fine, but I don't need your acceptance to know am right, I have seen businesses in Nigeria getting a whole lot of sales just because of the way it's packaged, so don't always try to prove someone wrong when they make a point, try to reason with my point too, all I wanted to hear from anyone of you is that, ' yeah it's true but that's not only the factor ' can u say from the bottom of your heart that I don't have a point ? My second name is bankole, I would have preferred it to my first name which is David or my surname which is abel, so many traditional or local names that sound well too, so don't get me wrong ...the lost man! |
Davidbanky: Ur point is off, candy to a those with no education is not a point, Here we are comparing how the name kulikuli sound to me and you since we both educated, so looking at it from our own educated standard should be our aim ...educated or not educated, you seem to be appraising the white mans language. There is no point of saying kulikuli does not sound well because its local and that of candy sounds western or modern, this is just to say that westernization has taken over you. |
ThaiAlNigeria: Greetings Nairalanders,Sai wadee ! Why are thai names too long ? Welcome to Nigeria, hope to read more of your stories. This is NaijaSiam connections. From Lagos to Bangkok. Doing business in thai is not also easy. The Farangs in thais complains about doing business in thai. What happens in naija is similarly the same as in thailand. |
Adetayo100: Nothing will change, People will go about there normal livesa whole lot will change. Going back traditionally would be difficult and unbearable! |
Caracta: I don't wear my hair natural because the Nigerian weather isn't good on it. It breaks easily and hurts.its about weaving the hair the african way and not leaving it open. For once, let the white copy from us. |
Davidbanky: My only problem is out naming, imagine the white would have called kulikuli = cheese, but we chose an ugly name so they assume it's a poor mans food, baba dudu, zobo, kunu, all are just terrible names... Hahahathe names are not terrible, its just that you have accepted the white mans language thinking theirs sounds better. Imagine how a name like 'candy' would sound to those with no education,no modernity, but understands their local language. I bet you, 'candy' would sound ugly to them. |
A victory for the Germans. |
