All over the world, companies increase price of their service and goods if costs go up, they do not threaten people and government with strike because of the cost of fuel for their private business. I run my own business in UK, and I have been buying fuel at £1.65 (N1,260) per litre since last year.

I think what the airlines are doing is just to force government to give them some subsidised fuel, but they are not going to reduce the price of their tickets anyway.
