Tochyodiks: I thought the same too, I think car engines might have long lasting power than our generators, but what about compatibility of alternators so it does not give high voltage or low voltage than required Generators are made from two major components the Engine which provides a rotational movement and the Coil which generates electricity measured in KVA. The rating of the coil determines the amount of Electric power generated. Using a vehicle engine to power a coil of high rating means the vehicle engine will be running at the lowest RPM meaning No firing. It's just like putting on your car engine and allowing it to steam on its own and it's enjoying radiator and coolant. It will last far longer than an engine on the road that goes through various loads of velocity and acceleration |
Car Talk › Re: Using Car Engine For Generator by 400billionman: 8:43am On Apr 20, 2018 |
tahoe: Possible but the car engine will die in a short period because car engines were not designed to work 100% all the time which car are you talking about that will die? People have been using vehicle engines to fabricate generators for a long time. People drive 10 hours non stop sometimes 15 to 18 hours intermittently. So which car engine are you describing? People who run generators TDB don't run it more than 12 hours daily otherwise they have 2 or 3 standby generators for maintenance |

ybalogs: The day i will never forget in life was the day my Dad was in the sitting room, I was outside. He called me to help him bring his shoes from his room. I brought the shoe and asked him where I should keep it. Dad said I should keep it on his head. Brothers and sisters, as an obedient child, I kept the shoes on his head. The only thing I remember after placing the shoes on his head is that the earth became void and without form. Everywhere was dark and it felt like Genesis chapter 1:1&2 all over again.
TGIF So this is why Zenith Bank earned N47bn in the first quarter? No wonder! |

Let's stop being sentimental. When you accept that there's a problem only then can you seek a solution. Since Nigerian youths are lazy. And perhaps you speak from the euphoria of a paid job which you may be sacked from tomorrow morning, pls how many houses have you built? how many youths have you given a scholarship or sponsored their education be it formal or technical education? AussiePlayboy:
Australia has also got a good amount of country roads and country towns. Trust me.. If you are coming to Australia, precisely NSW, there is sydney and there are the regional places. The regional areas are basically equivalent of Nigerian villages to me. Places like Narooma, Moruya , Orange, Grafton, Wagga.. Basically aged settlements there. So be wise when coming. I recently visited Moruya for work, and when I got to the lodge, the staff showed me where to park which was so big, had to ask her if their customers are usually trucks. Lol. Cos there was so much space. People in sydney know how cutthroat parking is. Aside the major cities, there is not much else where. Are you a driver in Australia? |

They are in love with their suffering and joblessness.
They will rather die than see a change in governance. The confused youths said they are not ready to lead. Anyway confusion is the first step to failure. I am not surprised |

rusher14: Please don't give me that.
The same youth have access to laptops and internet connectivity yet they would not learn programming, animation or better farming practices.
But they love Yahoo aka wire-wire. When they make any income they don't open factories or proper business enterprises instead they buy G-wagons and sophisticated (shopistikatet abi how that lawmaker talk am?) gadgets.
Yet you say it is not laziness.
We had a guy talk about his piggery. Instead of being encouraged I can already see people bashing him. I was however happy with his stoic riposte.
As regards what I contribute in the society. This is an anonymous forum and we must accept it for what it is. APC govt should adjust the Monetary policy of the economy to reflect progress made if any. Pig and Fish farming are good businesses. You can guide and advice younger people to do better in business and career not putting them down. The truth is this: it is twice more difficult doing business in Nigeria now than in 2012. Only business people would understand. Another serious issue is the state governors who are owing up to 10 months salaries |

Butterflyleo: Will you shut up. Necessity is the mother of invention as they say. What stopped those youths who engage in prostitution and armed robbery from engaging themselves meaningfully and legally?
Yes I own a piggery and it is big business because people like you must eat. The poor and the rich must eat and meat or fish in healthier and cheaper variants is highly sought after.
I am not being selfish but realistic. You and the others like you are just being lazy and want to be spoonfed |

rusher14: Why did he not take to armed robbery himself?
What stops able-bodied men from going into agriculture?
Or is it not the same "educated" Nigerians that do cleaning , care or security work when they get abroad? I agree there are many jobs Nigerians do abroad but refuse to do same or similar jobs at home country. But with this your mentality of all of you are lazy you cannot engage in philanthropy. People like Elumelu who belong to the first one percent rich population of the world do not even accuse Nigerian youths of laziness but keep discussing issues as it affects poverty: youth unemployment and restiveness in Africa at World Economic Round Tables. If you think you have achieved something you will still meet earlier achievers. |

Jakumo: This car is EXTREMELY ugly. What is the function of that gigantic radiator grille ? Is it designed to trap flying bats and insects, so as to then cook them with engine heat, for the dining pleasure of the car occupants when they arrive at their destination ?
Perhaps that enormous grille operates like a bulldozer blade, for use in clearing snow and mud encountered on the way to the shopping mall ?
As the old saying goes, beauty is only skin deep, but UGLY is to the bone. This car is UGLY and offensive to look at. Yes on picture but beautiful in real life. |

I see good and I appreciate it. By my observation, he has done well. In fact it was due to Buhari I became a farmer and I am currently doing extremely well with my piggery and will diversify soon You all can see that people comment from the extent of their comfort. A sign of selfishness narrow mindedness and low mentality. He is praising APC because he is a pig farmer. He raises SWINE. And swines give birth to 15 to 20 piglets at a time. And he attributes this biz to Buhari. while he does not care that about 20 % of Nigerian youths have taken to armed robbery and ritualism while more than 60% of the females are into prostitution. I advise you to stop dancing around the thread. |
