Everyone has different idea of what a good girl should be and it goes beyond mere looks.  Among in my list are:

She is confident in her own life and feels a complete person regardless of whether she's in a relationship.

She is financially and emotionally independent.

She is responsible and can be counted on in times of trouble and knows how to take care of problems without assistance.

She is kind. Treat others nicely the way she would like to be treated by other people.

She is honest.

Any girl that could bring out the best in you can be considered as a good girl. Moreover, a good girl knows how to discreetly be Bad when needed.

this is the part i cherished most in girls as against the packaged gurls that package themselves to meet their perceived perception of  your expectations

guys what and what do you realistically think a good gurl should basically possess to be called a good gurl nowadays

I have noticed that lies can come in handy; if you want to get by hassle-free; i am not talking about all those huge ugly, mean ones,,,, rather those little ones that covers your track or get you a helping or an edge? Now i have not said lies are okay, just started this topic to bring up to our consciousness what we sadly maybe making a habit; laff at our pettiness and see whether we can diminish the numbers?

this afternoon in trying to persuade man i was to meet in his office i lied that i was already on my way to his office which is at Apapa when i was in yaba, when he told me he too was at yaba i was taking aback, i just laffed at myself and told him i will see him tomorrow; i was so desperate to pickup a long overdue order from him cos am under pressure at my end to deliver?

I hate DSTV because they were extorting Nigerians until HITV and MYTV came. I hate all these Dupes. Startimes have now made them to bring in something new. I like competition because it brings down prices and brings good service. One day their subscription will surely come down to N500. My friend just wanted to tell you that in that context of your statements; the dupes is not the right word you should use is sth like deceivers; the consumers who are decieved are the real dupes.

Love has not failed the truth is that we dont understand what love is and what truly nurtures it. As long as sex is in the mix of love then the love that brought the attraction will never blossom to its full potential. Love must be based on freedom if you are under the pressure of sexual and financial gratification from you or your partner.

Sex is an expression of love and only fades away when it is engendered by a self seeking desires otherwise called lust. Vision should be incorporated into the life of any relationship else it would not be able to stand the test of time, trials and tribulations which life naturally throws at everybody, relationship or marraige.

i Jumped into this thread with the intentions of reading what guys will say and to add my own venomous definitions a on modern day chics but on second thoughts  my words go to the guys:

Guys dont you think we are the very ones who created the so-called modern day monsters chics complete with evrything we see and hate in them;
by offering them money to win their affections and to get sex;

by using them as sexual escapes instead of conducting as personalities worthy of the title men: how many guys are making the efforts in being sexually self controlled?

I find the behaviuor of modern day guys hypocritcal: imagine some guy on NL saying that today's married women are despicable cos she refused his withdrawal of his sacrilegious finger which he was sticking in her womanliness when her husband called while they were at the NYSC camp; how on earth can he be having a wicked, shameful sexual relationship with a married woman and still call her a LovePeddler?

in the past women behaved in a particular manner becos of a more respecting sociiety; now men, uncles and fathers despoil their own; CEOs want to sleep with their staffs, lecturesrs same, even Pastors and Priests and you think these gurls. who are products of this perverse and wicked society will be immune to the malaise of our generation. Temptation of the flesh is a part of life, we all have to do mental work to deduce or stay docile to realize what is true and right about our sexuality and its beneficial use.
From my personal experience, Pre-marital sex has not helped at all in achieving consistency in behavior as rational persons. deception and lies are the hallmarks.

There are no hard rules about overcoming fleshly temptations it is simply a matter of not starting the fire in the first place and calling a spade a spade even when you are falling or have fallen: having pre-marital sex can never be a sign of love nor can it nourish love, on the contrary it shrivels it!

if your utmost personal life goals is to be a person of integrity; it will happen that a person who strives towards integrity is bound to know how direct there natural sexual drives.

The ultimate challenge is to find the motives for being a person of consistent character, really its what the effort!

people should spare themselves unnecessary heartbreaks by never putting the cart before the horse: sex and cash (especially) should be after the love has been properly covenanted in marriage
