I realize Lagos is a Yoruba city. It has become home to Nigerians from every LGA.

Lagos should not be made a regional city.

Adding it to the Yoruba / West Region would make it subsidise the rest of the region and make them over dependent on it, thereby stifling their own growth.

It could also lose it's economic appeal to other peoples. The idea is to improve its economic appeal locally and internationally and also create similar cities in Port Harcourt and Kaduna.

A city like Lagos should be fully independently planned and run in terms of all development infrastructure.

It would even be better to include certain parts of Ogun State as part of Lagos FT.
