ok put that sim in a modem, or even use that fone, hook it up to a pc, look for a file above 5mb, download, show us ur speed.

please anyone knows how to connect a laptop or pc to a tv. the tv and pc are not HDMI ready.

the pc/laptop has VGA, 4pin S-video, DVI, and composite ports.

@ muyi, drop that passwrd stuff abeg, really interested. then i have a strange compaq laptop, a bit old but works. the curious thing is i cant get into the bios. its not passworded and i have tried every function key and combination but nada, know im prettty sure that thing gotta have a bios no?

then for some reason, xbmc started working fine, was previously slow running kinda. so i know tried it and actually like it. which now brings a catch. actually, im even intending to permanently move my desktop, laptops etc to using my TV. (cos of football and xbmc and large screen surfing lolz)

but my pc's dont have HDMI ports, even my TVs dont. i need to hook them up, what options do i have. i asked some ibo chap in ikeja yesterday, he pointed to a [b]VGA to AV cabl[/b]e and told me thats what its used for. i shelled out a grand for it, but true to type, zero display.

does'nt work. which then leads me to the question, how can i do this? or is the cable bad or sumtin? i need to know pls. wasted a grand already.
