Phones › Re: Whats Your Take(experience) On Chinese Phones by 4llerbuntu(m): 4:02pm On Sep 02, 2010
yawn.!! guy what really is your point? if u are trying to do market analysis for chinks say so so we help you outright!!!

besides, if you did'nt notice, your conclusion simply translates to : chinese companies need to be like a regular mobile phone company and not just be churning our crap in a backyard workshop and calling it phone!!!

do u actually need someone to tell you that? or u mean they don't know? samsung is an asian company and they make decent fones!!!!!

tseew!

by the way i was checking out some iphone clones on youtube, meen massive sturvs o. there is one called ciphone, man u need see the thing great clone grin grin grin grin

so chinese phones now surf the net and support java ehn? na wah o. . . is that an improvment? grin grin

i own 2 laptops, 1 desktop, 6 different OS installations. 2 installations on usb too

i tried a different server provided by you for 5 minutes yesterday and the difference was very very clear i was even able to stream youtube with THAT server.
speedtest does'nt test my computer, it tests the server and just relays the result to my pc, like i can use it to test a server before paying the owner kinda. . . . . . . .

ok sha. thank you. End Of Discussion!!!!

i laff at the "concerned nigerian for ashawo protection" club here

ok, lets forget the oyinbo land angle, so you mean the ashana at ojuelegba absolutely cannot find anything else?

you mean if she hitched a ride to LAWMA and told them the usual S.O.B story and asked to be given a broom to sweep carter bridge, she would be chased away?

as in when you say victim, you actually mean that they are tied at the brothel/streets and if they as much as moved a foot out they will lose their lives?

or you mean that the new breed of young boys visiting the gay nightclubs on the island also cannot do ANYTHING? even teach at a mushroom school, or wash their neighbors cars, or be a driverhuh

you wanna know the truth?, girlfriend stands at the roadside in V.I, gets a customer, opens legs for maximum 30 mins (worst case scenario 2 hrs grin grin grin) and gets say 3 thousand naira. 1 night!

or girl works her butt off at some measly job and gets maybe 1 thousand naira a day, she actually uses her muscles and brain, may not be able to afford her nails and that new weave-on/ make-up

do the maths, and you understand why the shameless things are absolutely flocking the streets and bars

AND YOU SAY THEY HAVE NO CHOICEhuh !

for the foriegn imports, ok so they dont have work permits the only occupation is hooking? so everyone who gets abroad without a permit actually is or was a hooker? shocking!!!!!!
grin grin grin grin

look, its a profession, and people choose to go into the profession

for the talk of sexual harrassment, are you saying that the girls get sexually harrassed and because they are harrassed, its better to just go into the business fully instead of men taking free advantage?
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

amazing. . . . . . . . look any female stuck in europe/us/cote'd ivoire without a work permit and the "job" you have is hooking, berra come back home with the little you have and come and open a shop here. besides instead of the crap you are doing there, you can come here and be a corporate hooker, working offices during business hours and charging extra for after-office runs like so many are doing here, even the married women grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

and stop looking for sympathy here on NL, ashawo nor be work o!!!!!!

Computers › Re: Ubuntu Linux by 4llerbuntu(m): 12:25pm On Sep 02, 2010
sorry but Misaac, why do you need an antivirus for a linux install huh huh huh

the ones available are only there to scan windows files safely for people who will still use windows, or to assuage the fears of the pple who are used to windows induced paranoia!!!!

the run levels arrangement make a virus redundant and the only possible "virus" you will get is a security attack directed at ur vital info (do you work in Aso Rock, or First Bank HQ?) and not just the run of the mill, mess up the pc attacks u get on windows!!!

Computers › Re: Ubuntu Linux by 4llerbuntu(m): 5:22pm On Sep 01, 2010
i did sumtin like dis recently, u have to move the partitions till the space gets to beside the home partition then extend the partition.

i did it successfully with gparted i think. look at gparted carefully. im very sure about this.

but note the drive may take some beating so i hope its in a good comndition.

OR

just expand the drives then shrink back. i.e expand the swap to include the free space, then reduce the swap from the other side etc etc grin grin grin grin grin

dont be scared, my data was intact.

Family › Re: Nigerian Girls Forced Into Prostitution In Cote D’ivoire-pics Inside by 4llerbuntu(m): 11:42am On Aug 30, 2010
mutter:
MY point is that these innocent girls that hawk themselves on the streets are often victim of circumstances that have no choice.
The real love-peddlers are on our campuses, in our offices and so on.
You need to listen to some of the stories of these girls.
What structures exist in nigeria to give unskilled labour meaningful employment.
They try hawking items and get abused sexually, cannot make enough to feed.
They try as nannys and get abused physically as well as sexually and are even sad.
These girls often have no way out.
We need to put up infrastructures and meaningful employment with realistic wages in Nigeria to prevent this prostitution that is a direct result of poverty and abuse.

Now what is your point.
baa mother theresa, dont turn logic on its head!!!!
there is no such thing as not having a choice. . . . . does someone put a gun to their heads to open up their legs?

simply put, its a result of mostly physical and mental laziness., this idea that the only thing that can be done is prostitution. yeah we all know the society isnt exactly a rocking place, but definitely not to that extent.
last time i walked the streets, i saw people sweeping the roads, i saw pple cleaning gutters, i see people doing dirty demeaning but HONEST, GOOD TO GOD JOBS TO EARN A LIVING!!!!!!

its not ideal, but then its way better than the lazy alternatives. its like meeting a guy who says because things are so hard the ONLY thing he can do is become an armed robber. now when staring down the barrel of a gun brandished by an armed robber i hope you will also see the point of that robber too as to how he is a victim of society!!!!

the only reason why people get away with all these is because they are "victim-less crimes" sort of.

when i was in school i met countless girls who turned tricks and would give you the standard excuse that their parents could'nt meet the bills, funny thing is i also knew several who actually slaved to get through too, instead of turning tricks, even myself had to slave to get through school (would have been so easy to join a cult and get thru like that!!!!!!!!!) their problem was they wanted the 10,000 naira hair, the big phones, money for bleaching creams and jewellries that even their mother did'nt use at her wedding.

to their minds, hooking was a cheap and easy way to get money, and fun along with it. as one put it to me once, "i give it to my BF for free, why not just get paid for it"

so many boys are turning to this too these days, recently i even heard the most lucrative was to be a gay prostitute!!!!!!! (all of a sudden they just turn gay)

leave all these your balderdash and tripe, bad as e bad, THE ONLY JOB AVAILABLE IS PROSTITUTIONhuh PUHLEASE!!!!!

Computers › Re: Ubuntu Linux by 4llerbuntu(m): 11:27pm On Aug 27, 2010
^^^ lol
wekll lemme just say that in my experience, the next release of ubuntu is always by far better than the previous one. . . . believe me in my case i know, having suffered some . , . . yeah it may seem to be alrite but you do know how suddenly every one is talking abt the new release and you're still talking abt your 2 release old install grin grin grin

that said, its a matter of choice, i know someone who still runs 8.10 and isnt willing to change

for firewalls, any will do, just note that ALL ports are closed, except the ones you expressly open, either by way of using an app like browser (80, 8080, 443) or u expressly open it, so it really doesnt matter if its firestarter or ufw or wateva. (firestarter is ok though, pretty simple). so u need a firewall config tool to OPEN stuff, ordinarily they are all closed!!!

for doc luv's suggestion believe me i have been toying with that idea a long time and even discussed i think with lynxnoon at a point. my fear is MONEY MONEY MONEY, TIME TIME TIME, COMMITMENT. VERY VITAL~!!!!!!
