They can't and shouldn't try to close all Islamic schools. Not all Islamic schools foster terrorism. However, there should be an effective monitoring mechanism for supervising these schools and weeding out those schools that are a front for promoting extremism.

maybe rather than being a ridiculous troll, you can answer the question

why don't you put your intellect to answering my query
You set such low standards for yourself, don't you. Are we supposed to applaud you for not rejoicing openly on this thread? What a putrid mind, your key concern in this matter is the use of the name Allah not the mindless violence unleashed on innocents. It's a mark of how warped your mind is.

please explain to me as a smart guy exactly how a military occupation by the us contributes to economic development
Id'ot, the point is that contrary to your argument, a US occupation does not necessarily result in the stagnation of a nation. Japan grew into an economic powerhouse that, most importantly, lives peacefully with its neighbours.

china was never occupied by the us - neither was india -
China and India? What a twit. China and India's per capita income is abysmal. They only enjoy such economic clout because of their enormous populations.

People collect art, some people collect shoes. As long as you pay for the shoes yourself without detracting from your financial contribution to the household, no problem with buying so much.

PoliticsProve You Are Alive: Yar'Adua by 4Play(op): 1:38am On Jan 07, 2010
Opposition politicians are demanding visual proof that the NIgerian President is still alive and fit to govern, six weeks after he left the country for medical treatment.

President Yar’ Adua left Nigeria on November 23 complaining of chest pains and has not been seen in public since. He is thought to be receiving treatment for a heart condition at a clinic in Saudi Arabia, but his absence has created a dangerous power vacuum at the top of Africa’s most populous nation and one of the continent’s biggest oil producers.

While observers warn of an impending constitutional crisis, the Government insists that business continues as usual. Delivering the annual new year address in the absence of the President, Goodluck Jonathan, the Vice-President, insisted: “The ship of state continues to sail.”

Mr Jonathan said: “Although Mr President has been away from us for some time on account of a medical condition, he has maintained sustained interest and optimism (in state affairs). We are hopeful Mr President would return to us before long to continue his good works, with renewed vigour and vitality.”

PoliticsRe: Miserable U.k Facing Gas Shortage As Cold Weather Continues by 4Play(m): 12:53am On Jan 07, 2010
@Omo Ibo

You are obviously a verminous slowpoke. Let me break it down for you one more time. Russia supplies a 'negligible' quantity of gas to the UK which is transported across the North Sea. However, this gas is separate from the gas produced from the North Sea, otherwise known as North Sea gas.

Plonker, gas transported across the North Sea is not the same as gas produced from the North Sea, the latter is what Debosky is referring to. That you can't understand this exposes you for what you are, a first grade cretin.
PoliticsRe: Senate Gives Obama's Admin 7-day Utimatum To Remove Nigeria From The Black List by 4Play(m): 12:46am On Jan 07, 2010
Nigeria qualifies to be on the list for 2 primary reasons;

(1) There is relatively considerable interaction between the 2 states, whether in the form of travel or other numerous cultural and social links, which can be exploited by terrorists. This does not apply to the likes of Mali that Uche keeps referring to.

(2) Nigeria's security apparatus is in a porous state and the north is littered with thousands of Islamists causing mayhem and sparking violence which has caused thousands of lives. The UK and France do not have this problem

You effectively have this nexus between the high level of interactions(between the US and Nigeria) and a dire security situation in Nigeria. Thousands of people have died in Nigeria because of sectarian violence, often involving Islamists. This clearly marks Nigeria as a nation of interest.

The same gas Debosky claims comes from the Northsea is supplied by Russia.
Jesus Christ!
Dumbo, let me try and simplify it for you

1:Russia supplies a small quantity of UK gas

2:This Russian supplied gas is often transported across the North sea

4 Play, You are a certifed naughty person.
If you read through the entire piece, i'm sure you'd have seen this:While the West needs Russian gas, Gazprom also needs markets outside Russia. As Spelman puts: "Europe is preoccupied with security of supply, but Russia is preoccupied with security of demand."
Can you stop trying to save face, you have been shown up to be absolutely clueless. So that Europe depends on Russia automatically means that UK imports from Russia are anything but negligible at the moment? I suppose the UK is a synonym for Europe.

Oh Debosky, give it a rest.
A  considerable quantity of gas used in the UK comes from Russia.
Infact, Russia supplies Europe with gas.

UK must tackle reliance on Russia
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/markets/2809383/UK-must-tackle-reliance-on-Russia.html
If  you know how this una idiotic copy and paste irritates me. How do you vermins manage in life if you can't comprehend the simplest of articles. The headline notwithstanding, the article does not show that  ''a considerable quantity of gas used in the UK comes from Russia''. That's just complete hogwash.

Here is an excerpt from the article:
Infrastructure restrictions mean that Gazprom supplies about 2pc of UK gas, but this will rise to 10pc and then 15pc in the short to medium term.
Here is another excerpt from another article
At present, Britain imports negligible quantities of gas from Russia but that is about to change.
http://english.ruvr.ru/2009/12/02/2474976.html

Effectively, at the moment, a very small amount of UK gas comes from Russia but this will change in the future. No need to garnish the story by claiming that a considerable quantity of gas comes from Russia.

Tippy Top:
I'd rather they do it themselves. Iranians have a stake in the betterment of their country's future. The only stake the Western world have is for the steady flow of oil. They really don't care about Iranian citizens and you know it. Why didn't America interfere in Burma, Aung San Suu Kyi has been a virtual prisoner for years.
You are a complete fool. Whether the US funds the opposition is besides the point. The most important thing is that their cause is just. Claims that the US is financing the Iranian opposition is a rather idiotic red herring in the face of the sheer evil perpetrated by the Iranian Govt on innocent Iranians

US also funds a disproportionate part of the world's humanitarian aid to refugees, would you now claim that you rather the refugees fed themselves when the reality is that they are unable to? Why spare the Iranian Govt the necessary condemnation they deserve?
RomanceFrance To Criminalise Verbal Abuse In Marriage - How Will Nigerians Cope? by 4Play(op): 8:04pm On Jan 05, 2010
France will become the first country in the world to ban 'psychological violence' within marriage later this year.
The new law, which would also apply to co-habiting couples, would see people getting criminal records for insulting their loved ones during domestic arguments.

Electronic tagging would be used on repeat offenders, according to the country's prime minister, Francois Fillon, who announced the law.

If it proves successful, it could be introduced in other European countries including Britain.

But critics dismissed the measure as a 'gimmick' which would be impossible to implement.

The law is particularly aimed at protecting women who currently suffer the worst attacks of this kind, ranging from off-hand comments about their appearance to threats of physical violence.

Citizens of 14 nations, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria who are flying to the United States, will be subjected indefinitely to the intense screening at airports worldwide that was imposed in the aftermath of the Christmas Day bombing plot, Obama administration officials announced Sunday.

But American citizens, and most others who are not flying through those nations on their way to the United States, will no longer automatically face the full-range of intensified security that had been imposed after the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight, officials said.

For Americans, the change represents an easing of the immediate response to the attempting bombing of the flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. But the action on Sunday further establishes a global security system that treats people differently based on what country they are from, evoking immediate protests from civil rights groups Sunday.

Citizens of Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria, which are considered “state sponsors of terrorism” as well as citizens from “countries of interest” that consist of Afghanistan, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and Yemen, will also face the special scrutiny, officials said.

Passengers holding passports from those nations, or taking flights that originated or passed through any of these countries, will be required to undergo a full-body pat-down and extra scrutiny of their carry-on bags before they can board a plane to the United States
