3. Get money(generally)
4. Get favours
5. Get connections
6. Get favoured in interviews(you'd be surprised how many women make the first move)
7. Get money(for school fees, handouts, exam passes)
8. Find out if they are fertile
9. In love
10.Get pregnant
11.Satisfy the man even though they don't want to have the sex.
12. Enjoy it.
13. Take revenge on thier boyfriend.

From my experience and those of my friends and associates, men have sex:
1. Because they enjoy it.
2. Because they enjoy it.
3.To find out if they are fertile. Again and again and again.

1. Nigerian pastors no longer teach morals. Lessons on love, purity, chastity, humility, forgiveness, punishment from God(the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom) has gone out of our churches. All we hear now is how we won't be blessed if we don't pay our tithes(?), How to build 100million naira churches for God(?), how our enemies will fall at our feet, how we must be successful this new month, how God loves a cheerful giver, how your life will be preserved whether you sin or not.
God has become an 'understanding God'. Nobody really believes they will go to hell and even if they do, they feel they will be able to negotiate with the devil. I laugh in Latin.

2. Westernization has demoralized us. We are more interested in material things like flashy cars, having the latest gadgets, wearing the latest clothes no matter how indecent it makes us look, and when people criticise us we call them uncivilized, it is a free world etc. I literally know of a girl who sleeps with different men anytime she wants a new bb phone. She's a graduate and worker. Yet all you have to do to get between her legs is buy the latest bb and she's yours. That's how much we value ourselves.

Westernization favours amorality. Deep down in our core we know this. But because we want to live in comfort like they do and be pretty and shiny like they are we swallow all their mannerisms hook line and sinker.


3. Parents are more like children nowadays. No value of worth to pass on to their children. No sense of honour, giving up at the slightest instance of difficulty.

4. Things are hard and its a known fact that the harder the economy the more the prostitutes. A girl in 200l cannot buy her handout and ends up sleeping with her boyfriend who repays the favour by giving her the money. Her parents didn't pay her school fees so she sleeps with her uncle who returns the favor by giving her money to pay the fees. Her mom didn't buy the latest panties for her so she sleeps with the businessman that comes to take her out at night and he repays the favour by buying her panties and eyeliners and $100 makeups. You see how this can go on and on.

5. P0rn0graphy. Another western maggoty cankerworm feeding on the previously fertile brain of our youth. The guys think its all about the pussay, how fast they can bed a girl, which girl will agree to a 3reesome, how many girls they can sleep with etc. P0rn0graphy and western media ENSURES that all the time the male brain is thinking about sex, sex, sex. How will he get this girl to sex him? One way is to woo her, be her friend, take her out, buy her lunch, carry her books, wash her panties and finally maybe she'll give it up. Or he could simply flash a lot of money in front of her and she will 'magically' fall in love. After the sex he goes his way and her eyes suddenly open to how much of a beast he really is.
P0rn is everywhere, in videos, in books, on Nairaland, on Facebook etc. It has destroyed our morality so much so that we don't even recognise it when we see it. A woman wears a skimpy outfit and tells the man he is a dog for oogling her. She never gives a thought to honoring her own body. She would rather display her wares for all to see just so she can be called pretty or classy or sophisticated or up-to-date with the latest trend.

These are the major things that has lead to the decadence of our girls. What can we do about it? I throw the question back to you sir.

Marriage is not about trying to correct the fault in your partner - that should have been taken into consideration when you two were dating - marriage is about making yourself better so you partner can enjoy you more.

I'm going to be a bit biased here and talk to the ladies a bit since the topic already addressed the man. Some ladies have a tendency to want marriage to be all about themselves, vis:

What can the man do for me?
What can he provide for me?
What is he going to give up for me?
When is he coming home early to me?
He should treat me like a princess.
He should be able to be patient with me.
Etc etc.

BUT

What have you done for the man?
What can you provide for him?
What will you give up for him?
Why should he come home early to you?
Do you treat him like a king?
Are you forgiving towards him(after all men make most of the mistakes)

Marriage should sha be about sacrifice.

And there is nothing wrong with the word 'delegate'. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail. You can't just leavethe job for anybody to do. If an assignment is left for 'anybody' to do, nobody will do it in the end!

The problem with marriages is that people don't marry for love anymore. If you love someone you are that person's mumu, you shift grounds for the person, you do the things that makes the person happy because invariably that's what makes you happy.

Now all we have are selfish people who feel the person they marry should outdo themselves for them. They want to be treated as princesses and kings, they want to be provided for , they want to be catered to. Nobody does anything just out of love anymore.

It was better when it was arranged marriages. This western ideology is whack. Our ancestors were wiser.

There's a strong rumour going on about one of our managers who works downstairs. She got one of these calabar house helps and it is said her husband got the girl pregnant. I dont know where you people are getting the idea that two people who want to get married cannot argue over issues before their wedding. So if they are disagreeing over a matter now it means they are not meant for each other? They should be oh so lovey-dovey and sweetie-bun and that will show they are made for each other?
