Amelian: well, the ones av met, either complains that their husbands rarely pays for the kids school fees and dont even bother , if theres food in the house or not. while another section of married women have met, will say the financial aspect of running their homes and paying of school fees is divided 50 -50... so the wives said.Well as for the latter there's nothing wrong with dividing the work 50-50. Feminism things... But as for the former example its either the men are jobless or the marriage has problems. Though I still think it will be all those kpangolo marriages sha cos I don't see how a man will open his two korokoro eyes and watch his kids starve even if he is angry with the wife. |

babygirlfl: This is not a problem with women only. This is a problem with society. We practice master slave relationship in almost every sector. Boss to staff, government to the people being governed, pastor to members, husband to wife, madam to house girl, lecturer to student. civil servant to civilians and the list goes on. There is constant abuse of position and leadership in our society. We as a society need to change the way we think. But come on now, women do this more! Women are their own worst enemies. They'll be the one to beat up the female house help who most times is also a female. They'll be the first one to remind their colleagues in full hearing of everybody that the colleague still doesnt have a child after 2yrs marriage. 2years only! ![]() They'll be the one to gather friends to naked a concubine in public. They'll be the one to supress their female counterpart in the same jobspace as them. They'll be the ones to insist their sons don't marry the girl of his dreams. A woman stopping a fellow woman from getting married ![]() Have you ever seen a father-in-law chase out his son's wife after just 2yrs of marriage cos they haven been able to get pregnant? I haven't . its usually the mother-in-law, a fellow woman!! ![]() Pls am getting emotional. Let me stop here. |
Amelian: possibly the single girls notice amongst their married friends that the men their friends married no longer take care of their children's financial needs. Her married friends are the ones paying for school fees, school uniforms, taking care of feeding and clothing their children, without their husband's assistance... invariably their married friends are living like single mums in real life, and their staying married is simply a status, nothing more..Corrected. Because ALL married men I know WITHOUT EXCEPTION are the ones paying for their children's school fees, feeding and clothing. |
Giifted: Eh yaa... I pity u. (Pity yourself.)In case you have problems understanding the above quote, the words in red are mine. |

Haha joke |
You don't know ladies. Many of them are just making mouth. Nobody, not even an oyibo woman wants to be a single mother. It usually happens by mistake then they defend it so they dont feel bad about themselves. I remember one monicker that opened a thread on Nairaland a few months ago. She was arguing vehemently how she would prefer to be a single mother and raise her kids by herself. Others came and formed 'supporters club' for her. Imagine their shock when she unconsciously announced in response to another thread that 'her hubby can't treat her that way'! People started asking 'ah, so you are married?''why that other thread na'? Her response was she was just catching her fun. Meanwhile some people don carry her matta for head. So leave them. I repeat: No sane or emotionally balanced woman deliberately wants to raise a child on her own. Its just circumstances that make it so. |

Reasons why people hate doctors: 1. They wanted to become doctors themselves but never had the chance. 2. In medical school their doctor counterparts never interacted with them and so they interpreted it to mean pride instead of realising they didn't just have the time. 3. Some medical students were proud assholes. But that is so for other professions as well. 4. The money they earn. They don't understand why their friend who they knew yesterday now earns more than them. 5. Their rise in stature after they graduate. They still look like they are too busy for you but the truth is they still don't have the time. 6. People go to see doctors when they are sick and helpless and at thier most vulnerable. Some doctors don't empathise with patients maybe because they are too busy and overworked. The number of patients seen by a doctor daily in goverment hospitals is disgustingly too much! Its like a market! Thar's why i prefer private. Doctors can tell from a glance when an illness is serious or minor. The minor ones they treat dismissively without much attention not knowing that the patients feelings are hurt because they really don't know what is happening to them and feel the doctor should give them all the attention. 7. When people are sick in hospital they are asking for your help. Shouting on your patients at such a time makes them feel humiliated. When they get better they won't remember the good you did but will instead attribute it to God. Meanwhile they will hold a grudge and anger against the doctor. 8. Most people don't know what doctors really do. Most people think doctors only treat typhoid and malaria. They don't know about the many other sickness out there. If they did they would be more appreciative of you. 9. Most Nigerians, a large majority are IGNORANT. its not their fault, this county's education sector is a shambles. That's why some graduates were willing to drink salt and water to cure Ebola. 10. Some senior doctors insult junior doctors in precence of patients. I have personally seen this happen in LUTH. And after insulting and humiliating the young doctor whom we thought had been doing a good job they still let him attend to us. Of course outlr confidence in him had died completely by then and when we went after the Oga he said he's not supposed to handle the case. So why not correct the doctor in private? If you don't respect your kind how do you expect others to respect you? 11. Some people are just greedy and want to harvest where they have not planted. 12. Plain old jealousy for jealousy's sake. These people are angry at anybody that is seen to becoming better than them. If tomorrow the rich man on their street dies they will rejoice simply because something bad has befallen them. If a jeep crashes in their front it will sweet them because now the person has to trek like they do. If tomorrow the doctors start earning N1000 a month they will be happy that at least let the doctor suffer small. Those are my reasons why I feel there is so much hatred for doctors in this country. Hopefully things will get better because like it or not they are the custodians of our health as a nation Three people you must pay well without question: Your lawyer, your doctor and your security for they are the ones that guard your life and freedom. Thank you. |

It all boils down to petty jealousy. Even the title of your thread shows it. "Fg paid doctors new salary!" With exclamation mark. Were you thinking they would come back from the strike empty handed before? Na so e paaaiiin you? Whatever profession you are doing, if you feel you deserve more pay by all means ask. Don't use pepper eye to pour sand in someone else's garri. Just someone who happens to have been helped numerous times by them and know their true worth. For the docs here I heard your ogas sold you guys out. Its a pity but that's naija for you. People are here typing insults, don't mind them. The truth is that they are jealous. FACT. |
phantom: let it go to the dogs!! I resisted travelling out a decade ago when I qualified and I regret it now. What's stopping you from moving now? Is the bond still $3500? What do you mean 'scalable to 7-8thousand dollars working extra jobs?' |

pickabeau1: interesting.. Silas looking out for Dr BurkeThanks Updated. @odward, stormybucci, ciela, timothy3113, |
"I hope you are happy." Dr Burke said with a sad smile as he punched in a code on the computer. The door slid effortlessly open. 'Sorry doc". Silas said. And he meant it. The two men came came in with one of them holding the young girl protectively. They relaxed when they saw Efe and Caleb. They cheered and hailed each other and soon Barry and Michael had come to join them. "What about Obinna? Where is he?" One of the new men asked. There was sudden silence as Caleb shook his head sadly. "He didn't make it." "What's with the gun, Efe?" The klauser called Sven asked, eyebrows raised. Dr Burke pressed another button and the door slid shut. "What's going to happen now?" He said, watching Efe. Efe slowly put the gun down and faced Sven. "This guy didn't want to open the door for my peeps so I had to threaten him with the gun." "Efe! You didn't have to do that!" Sven said although he cast an evil glance at Dr Burke. "We won't stay where we are not wanted. We leave immediately." "That would be nice." Said Dr Burke. "He's only kidding." Silas said with a quick grin. "You folks are already here. Please don't mind the doc, he was just following orders." "Whose orders?" Klein, the other man asked. "Is there someone else in this place?" Silas ignored the question and quickly introduced himself and the doctor who was sitting quietly at his computer screen. Klein and Sven were gay partners who had come from Europe to find jobs and the girl was their adopted daughter Jenny who was only nineteen. She smiled at Efe who smiled back but apart from that she kept to herself. As soon as the pleasantries were over and everyone was feeling more relaxed Silas made Efe apologise to the doctor which he did grudgingly. The doctor nodded his acknowledgement of the apology though Silas knew the doctor hadn't accepted it. But the acknowledgement was good enough for now. Silas called everybody together and recited the rules for them. He noted the impressed look on Dr Burke's face as he mentioned them one after the other. "And finally rule number six is: If you come in contact with a zombie and you have not been bitten, wash off." Silas looked round at all of them. "These rules must be maintained at all times if we want to survive this zombie apocalypse. The good doctor has been kind enough to accommodate us, let's appreciate him by following his rules. And yeah, rule number seven is that he can add more if need be." Everyone nodded somberly. Caleb apologised once more to the doctor for Efe's behaviour. The doctor stood up from his computer and looked at Efe. "Rule number seven: All mobile phones or guns or any other equipment in your posession must be handed over to me. I need you to do that now." Efe looked at Caleb who nodded. He held out his shotgun and Silas collected along with his mobile phone. Caleb also brought out a mobile phone while Michael went into the inner room and came back with the chainsaw. Silas kept everything in a cupboard and then turned to the newcomers. "What about it guys?" "Why should we trust you?" Klein asked defensively. "Because we are letting you stay." Dr Burke said, getting up from his seat. "Because I'm letting all of you stay. Does this look like a family outing? Do you think we are magically safe here just because some idiot with a gun let you in? You think others haven't made hideouts and fortresses? Do you know how they fell? Because they didn't have rules!!!" Dr Burke stopped his rant midway to catch his breath. Efe wanted to protest being called an idiot but the look in the doctor's eyes were near maniacal and he decided to keep quiet. Jenny hid behind her fathers who glared at the doctor. "If you are not going to keep to the rules no problem." Dr Burke said. "We can give you whatever you need but then you have to leave." He turned to efe. "And that goes for you too!" There was silence for a moment then Klein came forward and brought out a kitchen knife and a mobile phone with a pair of scissors. Sven handed over his mobile phone and a table knife. Silas looked at the instruments before him and stifled the urge to burst into laughter. "Thanks for cooperating guys." He said as he put everything away. "Now if you'll come this way, the good doctor would like to scan you." They followed obediently into the inner room where the doctor got his probe. He sent the others out and made Klein and Sven strip. Totally naked now, he examined every inch of them with his fluorescent light, looking out for scratches or bites. He found none. "Good." He said. Now you guys go in and shower while I examine your daughter here..." You will do no such thing!" Sven said holding jenny to himself. She squealed and pulled away from him. "Dad! Ewww, you are naked remember?" "I don't care. Stay close honey, I don't want this pervert getting his dirty hands all over you!" "You can't be serious?" Dr Burke said, aghast. "Look I'm a doctor, its purely professional, I need to examine..." "Are you a medical doctor ?" Klein asked. Dr Burke hesitated. "No, but..." "Then you are not touching a hair on her head." Klein said moving his massive frame between him and the girl. "She's our responsibility and we can tell you right now that she hasn't been bitten." "I need to see for myself." Dr Burke insisted. "Hell no!" Sven said. "This is absurd!" Dr Burke exclaimed in exasperation. "All right , all right!" Jenny screamed and they all looked at her. Before any of her fathers could stop her she pulled off her top and skirt, leaving her bra and panties on. "I'm not taking anything else off!" She said defiantly. "This is close enough." Dr Burke said. He quickly scanned her aware that her fathers were staring at him with murderous gazes. "Finished. She's clean." He said. "I'll leave you all to shower. There are fresh clothes in the drawer." And then he quickly left. "Bloody pervert!" Sven hissed and went to his daughter. "Good thinking Jenny. I don't think he suspected anything." Jenny smiled and waited for her dads to go shower. When they were through she entered, pulling off her bra and panties and turning on the shower. The cool water was soothing to her skin, except for the lower part of her left breast where she had been scratched deeply by one of the zombies when they escaped from their house. |
thegreatman4ww: .Just looked thru your profile and surmised that you are an elderly elder. Sorry sir. Still, IMHO your advice was a little outdated somehow. Once again abeg no vex ![]() |
thegreatman4ww: And those ppl over 45yrs had nothing less than 8yrs as a married women, are they not best litmus test...The OP is a young girl, I dunno- maybe in her 20s, and you send her to a geriatric/ old people's thread where most of them seemed bored/tired with their marriages, so as to teach her about sex? Really? Its either: 1. You are an old man yourself. In which case 'domo sir.' ![]() 2. You are a virgin. When you start enjoying sex a few years from now you will seek me out and apologise. Apology accepted in advance. ![]() You think ladies of nowadays do EVERYTHING in the house? Are you hoping to marry a woman who will work, cook, clean, carry the kids, carry you, polish your shoes, wash your car while you sit and watch TV? If you dont help in any of these of course your wife is going to be too tired or too frustrated to have sex! We young people value sex a lot in relationships! It is important! Just because she appreciates good sex does not make her IRRESPONSIBLE! Sexu4l incompatibility that early in marriage can lead to frustration and a greater chance of her cheating! Its two weeks to her introduction and she cant get Ay the anaconda out of her mind, what do you think will happen when the challenges of marrage sets in and she starts thinking 'what if'? And God forbid we go into marriage with the kind of depressing picture you have painted about sex for our young friend here! Sex does not have to be at its peak all through marriage but by Jove we will enjoy it when its hot and heavy and keep the tempo up as much as possible even when we grow old which hopefully will be decades from now! |
thegreatman4ww: Sorry dude did u experience ur moniker more than 10x a day or u read tru during one of those period? @mcdreeezy I think you have a s3xual issue. You are the same guy who finds it disgusting after sleeping with a member of the opposite sex. You need to look into this. Goodness, I hope that didn't sound rude, no offence man. https://www.nairaland.com/1536987/it-normal-see-woman-disgusting @thegreatman4ww, dude same for you. And I actually wasted my mb and checked the links you gave, most of the people who commented were married women above 45years! Half of them said thier husbands were complaining that the sex wasnt enough! That's where you want this young strapping full-of-energy woman to take advise from? |

donpeey22: Please can someone explain this ish of getting turned on by violent partner, it's really annoying! Is it a psychological problem? I'd appreciate it if somebody explains because i found out that it's very common in our society, even some guys get attracted to ladies who daze them with heavy slaps. What's the cause abeg? Some people like to make love Others like to have sex Yet others just wanna phock ![]() All Na communication ![]() Making love is gentle, involves sweet caresses, a venture in giving and taking to please the other partner. The kind of thing you see described in "The Songs of Solomon" ![]() Having sex is an exercise in skill and stamina. It involves competition, a sense of wanting to impress, using all kinds of skills and techniques at your disposal ![]() Phocking is WAR ![]() It is a battle of two bodies as they try to dominate and conquer each other ![]() All weapons at your disposal are used be it hand, teeth, penis or vagina (thank you Nairaland) ![]() It is sweaty, involves scratches, bites, body slams and yes Slaps in various regions ![]() Now since this world is not black and white, some people are going to fall into the grey zone ![]() Look through this thread at all the people that have contributed. Shame wont let them admit it now cos of some goody-goody people on this thread...but: At least ONE of the girls that contributed gets turned on by a properly delivered slap. And at least ONE of the guys that contributed feels h0rny when slapped hard by a pretty chic ![]() |
Floodgater: This is a habit he has taken years to master. You have to help him unlearn it now without wasting time. The good thing is he has not started leaving the bedroom for you(your actions might/might not make him start). I have heard of worse cases than yours, now you see i left you no option to be hopeless cos am hopeful he can be helped. First you have to determine in your heart that you must share same room with him no matter what, next you must buy yourself plenty of time and patience(cos he took time to get there). To go about this , strictly maintain your side of the bed, if you must cuddle manage the pillow(this too shall pass), when he rolls to your side gently adjust him if he inconveniences you but leave him if its like a cuddlelike position(let him wake up to see that he did it himself) still maintain you side and for the music please bear as with one of those women whose husband snores louder than that music(yes they exist) then when you see he is fast asleep you can reduce the volume a litlte so as not to wake him, you can further reduce it with time if he has gotten used to the previous reduced volume. Do this repeatedly with time to a bearest minimum volume. This with time will help him accomodate a wife on his bed. Please be patient and positive cos[s] if he starts sleeping in a separate room, you might lose him forever[/s].10likes. I don't agree with the cancelled part. @GodsDivinefavor as someone who has a similar issue with your husband, I suggest you follow this approach. |
AtheistD: Sexual deviancy. I have dated someone who wanted to be ra.ped and enjoyed it. She also liked violence. It didn't work outThank you! Why do we like to hide the truth? I had a girlfriend (from same warri, don't know what it as about those girls) who told me live and direct that if a guy didnt get angry enough to slap her it meant he wasn't emotionally committed enough! Me I'm a gentle guy so the relationship didn't last. But the sex was SUPERRRRRR ![]() |

soulglo: They are both mentally unstable. This is just like seeing a woman jump in front of a car to kill herself and then you conclude that women like to commit suicide. I thought you meant smacking her butt during sex or maybe just sex were a woman might want to be dominated.A beg go siddon Mrs self righteous. Just because you don't dig something doesn't mean the people who dig it are crazy! I know a girl who gets h0rny anytime she engages in a fight with her guy. She's a warri babe live and direct! All their fight(serious one) dey end in love making |
Ishilove: No, I do not agree with coogar's views. I killed mosquitoes that night because it isn't part of my makeup to do casual sex. I should sleep with a man because of peppersoup and drink?? Haba manaAnd this is the point exactly! You weren't supposed to have sex because of an inert feeling that the man had somehow deserved it by buying you 'point and kill', you were supposed to have sex because you enjoy it! You just buttressed their point ![]() Having said so I'm in no way advocating casual sex. What you did was quite admirable... apart from the loo part ![]() |
