gazilion: You were praying the ROSARY?Yes I was. |
For goodness sake it doesn't matter! But for ease of comfort, wife's mother should come first. Husband's mother can come and visit for a whole day if she likes and carry baby until she's satisfied. Shikena! |
What the hell are you talking about? ![]() |

What makes u think it was the nurse's injection that killed the child? A woman that has been treating all the neighborhood kids without incident and because she did this she is now labelled a killer? Nigerians sha. How are u sure the child wasn't already on its way to the grave b4 d nurse gave the injection? Is it not even possible the child had a drug reaction which is unpredictable in most people and is no fault of the nurse? Or are we resorting to bashing nurses now? Next Abeg! |

ebuetor: Anyone have any experience about life after death experience.....a peep into heaven or hell. I was previlaged to pass through that too, in 2003....if you have lets hear it before i say mine....When I was younger, I used to pray a lot. One day I was saying my rosary in mother's room. It was quiet and there was nobody around. I was really thinking of the words as I prayed. The next thing I heard a chorus praying along with me. I stopped and the chorus stopped. When I continued it continued again. So I stopped. Then I heard a voice saying that I shouldn't be shy that I was the one leading the prayers together. Then I saw I was kneeling in the centre of a very big corridor so high that I couldn't see the roof. On my left and right were angels, plenty of them standing row after row like you see in a football stadium. Some were smiling and others had their hands together and eyes closed and they were all waiting for me to continue. I was like 'ah, me, I can't lead these ones in prayer oh!' That am not worthy. Then the voice said they were not interested in whether I was worthy or not that I should lead the prayer and they would follow. So I finished the prayer and sang and they sang too and it was like my singing wasn't near thier own in beauty at all at all but they smiled and encouraged me. After the prayer they clapped and cheered and suddenly I was back in my mom's room and I had tears running down my eyes. That was a long time ago, when I remember it I don't know what to think but you can't convince me that there are no spiritual things because that was an awesome experience. |
neoapocalypse: Volunteers get paid in some casesIts not even about volunteers getting paid in some cases, THE GOVERNMENT OFFERED TO PAY THEM! The government said anyone who volunteered to work at the Ebola centre would be paid a stipend of N50k a day. They are the ones who said it! And now are not willing to pay! Who in their right mind would support such a government? Anybody defending them now is either supremely ignorant or is getting bribed to do so! |
missterious: I hope the worst is over. I can't continue reading ![]() Seriously scary stuff ![]() |
It is now I believe that there are government croonies on this site. Either that or some people are damn ignorant.(its Sunday so let me try and be polite. Who didn't hear plainly that the government offered n50k a day for anybody willing to 'volunteer' to take care of the Ebola patients? Were the volunteers the ones that asked for the money? No! It was the government that suggested it and even then people were reluctant to go because they didn't believe the government would keep its end of the bargain. Now they are being proved right! Its not only doctors and nurses, even some street touts went to volunteer with the mind of making some money EVEN AS THEY RISKED THIER LIVES. Now some of you are saying they shouldn't be paid while balancing in the comfort of your house. Cowards and thieves! I have said it before that Nigerians are mumus. I still blame those who were foolish enough to believe the promise, people who were foolish enough to still believed in the government. |
A friend of mine just confirmed that a suspected case of Ebola is at the FMC, asaba. Samples have been collected for tests in lagos to confirm if its ebola or not. |
She should divorce him! Why should she bear that kind of cross, am sure the man hid it from her! She should have left since after all her happiness is what is important instead of swimming in urine the rest of her life! ![]() ![]() Just kidding! Op its obvious they haven't seen a real doctor. Probably been asking advice from non-medical personel or visiting chemists and whatnot. Its not as if he does it everynight sef. Once or twice in 3weeks i dont think is enough for her to go to a room of her own which would have contributed to his loss of self esteem. They should visit a urologist. Simple. |
bebe2: hmmm, good oneOh, that one involved alcohol as well, though not all the time. The pops learnt to carry his drunken self quietly to his room after he was confronted. But yeah its important for the father to realise that alcohol is destroying his home. Unfortunately I don't think we have AA in Nigeria. |
Lacomus: He will be 23 this yearIt depends on his temperament. If he is the quiet type he can report to elders e.g his father's brothers or maybe the church pastor depending on who he is close to. It might even be a neighbor. He shouldn't report to his mother's people, its not his duty to do so. Let someone older than them come and talk to them. If your father knows it is affecting you so much that you sought outside help he might have a rethink. If he's the outspoken type he should call an in-house family meeting comprising of just the parents and his siblings. They should all air their views on how they don't like what is going on. They should tell their parents to respect themselves in the eyes of them the children. They should discourage their father from drinking and let him know he is embarrassing them when he comes home drunk and turns the place upside down. If he is the em...physical type, he should call his father to order. Tell him that in as much as he respects him as a father but if he touches his mom again he will fight him. He should mean it too. It will serve as a deterrent . I know many people might not agree with this but hey, its just my opinion. Many things don't work in Nigeria. You can't call social security/police and when you do they tend to botch things up. He should stand up and be the man of the house since his father seems to be relinquishing that position. |
Lacomus: He told me he once tried to talk to his Dad but he didn't give him listening ears.Nothing new. They don't listen till you get serious. How old is he? |
Was there blood in the stool and vomit? People sha. |
Igwe9: Methinks he planned it with patrick right from on set, to take ebola to SS and when the plan wasn't actualised by late Patrick, he then had to continue from where he stopped.I strongly agree with you on this! Why did he go to port-Harcourt to get treatment only to return to Lagos? Did he attend any meeting in PH? Was there no doctor to bribe to treat him in a hotel in Lagos? The whole thing smells as suspicious as rotten fish jo. |
Wait o Are we talking about attention or erection? |
Godmystrength: Please don't tell me it's a real storyVery real. |
aisha2: A man caught his wife in bed with another man and he said nothing, he picked their rumpled clothes and helped them iron it, the wifes partner picked the clothes and said thank you.Picz of your left butt chick or this your story ain't true! ![]() |
Godmystrength: Note the word "CAUGHT". That doesn't mean he has stopped cheating. he has only learnt to be more careful......That too is possible ![]() |
perry2020: Husband material is almost same wif wife bt u no d duties of a wife is mur.Just measured myself against this checklist ![]() I ain't doing so bad ![]() Very insightful. Well done. |
perry2020: Kai sum ppl and funny comments sha.Very nice points. If you can find a woman who imbibes all these characters then you have found a rare gem. But I think humans being what they are, to get all these in one person might be difficult. A lady who possesses most of this characters is a good wife material. |
A wife came home and met her husband in bed with another woman. She ignored them and went to make soup. The woman dressed quickly and ran out of the house. The wife shouted after her: 'Wait o, won't you eat?' A few minutes later the man came into the kitchen and she told him to wait small that the soup will soon be ready. The man went on his knees and started begging. The man hasn't been caught cheating again. He takes his wife outing frequently and boasts to everybody that she is the best thing that ever happened to him. True story. |

Wait, is this a trick question? Of course I would! I even heard a time comes when preggys are extremely h0rny! |
How old is your ' friend?' My friend endured emotional and physical abuse of his mother for 18years. He didn't know how to address the situation, whether it was his duty to do so or not. Wanting to fight his father conflicted with the upbringing he had been raised with to 'honour his father and his mother.' He didn't know if he did anything and they seperated if it would be his fault. He felt like he had failed by not protecting his mom and he was afraid of what his father might do if he challenged him. One day at the age of 21, he came home from the university and felt tension in the house. By evening his parents had started screaming at each other. As usual he tried to ignore it. But when the fighting began he made up his mind to do something. So he came out of his room, went to the parlour, pulled his dad off his mom, stared him straight in the eye and told him that if he touched his mom again he would regret it for the rest of his life. Then he sent both parents to their seperate rooms and locked them up for an hour. After that he called them together and insisted that as long as he was in the house they were going to talk through their problems. That if anybody hit anybody he would hit back and much harder. And then he told his younger siblings what he had done and to report to him if there were any more 'incidents' The violence stopped after that. |
I think it has to do with age. When a woman is young she is very impressionable and wants to belong, have all the nice things, enjoy life etc. Erection is important to her cos of course she want to enjoy herself with her man but money is more important. At a young age girls can follow a rich man that has poor erection or even no erection self as long as the money is flowing they won't mind. But as a woman gets older her priorities change. She sees that money is not everything and she wants that sexual satisfaction from her man. By that time erection will be more important to her. Some women in their 50s will gladly pay for the erection sef because by that time their older husbands may not be able to have the strong erection needed to satisfy them. That's why we hear of sugar mommies at that age, they value that erection more than money and that's why they are willing to even pay for it. Tenk u. |
theplanmaker: Adufemi, all I can say to you is well done! you have played your part. I know the type of man your husband is. weather you ll stay with him or leave is entirely up to you, but do not let ur husband sap all your joy. do not let him dictate ur hapiness. Focus on raising ur children, get ursef a source of lively hood. Kip playing ur part as a wife, expect nothing from ur husband.I'm going to go with this one. Op I think you should follow this advice. Also I think you might be neglecting the fact that you are clinically depressed. Are you taking drugs for that? There are drugs you can take for depression and emotionally you won't feel so down. Stop making this man the centre of your world. Right now you have to focus on yourself, your happiness. I.understand you don't want to have a broken marriage, I get it that its very important to you. But I think you need a little time off. Can you arrange to have time off away from him? Do so. Have a holiday in a new environment, a place where you can relax and be happy. You can go alone or the kids can come with you. Also you should start keeping some personal savings aside. Do not for any reason tell him about it. You are both going to need it in the near future. I said I wasn't going to write anything long so let me stop here. |
Longest post eveeeeeeer! ![]() And I read it from beginning to the end ![]() OK, my advice is...em...I dey come... |

cococandy: Chip ke?Correct assumption. It was not directed at you in particular, I already read your response. Good morning. |
