Or the most number of follwers angry
I was thinking it would be a kind of judgement thing. Like content, number of words, finality of the story i.e merits based on the completeness of the story etc., proper use of words and the like!

Well, congrats to larrysun anyway.

Saved

"Stop her!"
"Don't let her get away!"
She ran as fast as she could as the raging mob followed in hot pursuit. her chest heaved with laboured breaths as she looked for a place to hide. As she turned the corner she saw an empty shop and dashed inside.
"Please help me! I didn't steal anything! They'll burn me alive! Help..." She collapsed on the floor, weeping profusely.
The young man quickly threw some clothes over her and in the darkness she heard shouts.
"Where the thief?!"
"Follow straight!"

She sighed as the mob ran past. She was safe.

cococandy: lets not confuse liberty with irresponsibility.
There's no deception in the word liberty or democracy.
The key is that as long your action doesn't cause harm to the next person, you're at liberty to be yourself.
People who are under the control of others all the time tend to develop stunted IQs
Scientifically proven.
So please don't say that stuff you did about democracy ever again.
How did you deduce the above statement from what I said about democracyhuh
Are you saying every worker under the control of his boss is going to develop a stunted IQ? Or every student under his teacher is going to develop stunted IQ? What do you mean? Pls that statement only holds for prisoners of war or brainwashing and has nothing to do with the topic.

Now to the topic.

every married person took a vow to be there for their spouse and kids.
so knowing your duty to them and doing it according shouldn't be negotiated.
Beautiful statement. Now it is the duty part that we as anti-feminists are worried about. You women have been taught overtime to hate your wifely role in the family. Cooking for the family, cleaning the house, etc has been slowly painted to be seen as derogatory work, but the truth is someone has to do it. Someone has to keep the house in order. And there is no shame as a woman in doing so. A woman should not be ashamed to say she washes her husbands clothes or prepares his meals or takes care of the children while he is away or cooks in the kitchen. All these are but a few points feminists have trained their female me members to cringe at, to view as degrading. Honest work is now a sign of inequality. Too bad.

on a normal day, everyone should have liberty to do what they wish with their time, but when married, your time doesn't belong to you alone anymore.it is a vow you took VOLUNTARILY. Hence withdrawing will result in direct effect on your family. as long as such vows remain solid, you're required to hold your own end of the contract.
Fully agree with this. Work in marriage is shared out. Responsibility is shared. Every work is important and every member should take pride in that work whether it is bringing the meat home(husband) or cooking it(wife). Once you upset this natural balance, there WILL be discord.

but let's look at the real liberty I'm talking about. with another simple example.
a wife wants to go back to school to study law. but hubby refuses because he feels once she's gotten a law degree, she won't call him 'master' anymore.
never mind that his refusal wasn't because he had her best interest at heart but because he's only out to service his own ego.
Was she calling him 'master' before? SMH at women and their theatrics. Its a simple case of knowing the man you VOLUNTARILY married. If you cannot discuss with him in an adult manner and let him see the benefit of your becoming a lawyer it is either there is something wrong with you(selfish, untrustworthy) or something wrong with your husband(insecure, untrusting). It has nothing to do with who remains the head of the house. That's why its good to marry someone whose aims and objectives in life you agree with.
If I may ask, if you played the above same scenario with your own husband would he react like the man above? And if not, why? There you have your answer.

Those two are just examples with variations in each case.

Only a confused person will misunderstand liberty to mean reckless behaviour without consideration for their loved ones.
Giving liberty to your children to do what they like is reckless. Giving liberty to a teenager because the western world said we should knowing well that they statistically endanger their lives more than any other age group is reckless. Giving liberty to each partner to 'do whatever they like' in the name of equality, is reckless.
Family › Re: Feminists: If Your Children Don't Want To Submit To You... by 5minsmadness: 6:12pm On Jul 30, 2014
Marriage is an institution.
The health sector is an institution.
The church or mosque is an institution.
Even in a Democratic country you have the President.

For ALL institutions to function there must be law and order. For all institutions to work there must be a Head, a leader, someone to make the tough decisions and lead the way. Its is the prayer of every institution to have a good leader but good or bad there must be a leader or else everybody will be waiting for somebody to do what nobody has been assigned to do. This is a recipe for chaos.

There must be a HEAD of the family and there must be a follower or followers or else the family WILL break down.
Family › Re: Feminists: If Your Children Don't Want To Submit To You... by 5minsmadness: 6:01pm On Jul 30, 2014
cococandy: So I ask again. What's wrong with liberty?
Liberty brings chaos.
Liberty, like democracy, is a deceptive word. Liberty tells you that you are free to make your own choices, that weare all equal, that there is no leader, no captain no head.
There is no law and order.
This is a recipe for disaster.
God almighty is not Democratic.
He makes laws and if you disobey them you will be punished, just as if you obey them you will be rewarded.
The kind of 'liberty' feminism is trying to bring will only lead to the destruction of the family unit. This has already begun in the Western civilizations.
The children are the worst hit. And you know a poorly brought up child will be a badly behaved and irresponsible adult.

The liberty you seek is a false Paradise that will lead ultimately to destruction.

MizMyColi: An ENFJ prefers:
E - Extroversion to Introversion
N - iNtuition to Sensing
F - Feeling to Thinking
J - Judging to Perceiving

STRENGTHS
ENFJs are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, ENFJs take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.

ENFJPeople are drawn to strong personalities, and ENFJs radiate authenticity, concern and altruism, unafraid to stand up and speak when they feel something needs to be said. They find it natural and easy to communicate with others, especially in person, and their Intuitive (N) trait helps ENFJs to reach every mind, be it through facts and logic or raw emotion. ENFJs easily see people’s motivations and seemingly disconnected events, and are able to bring these ideas together and communicate them as a common goal with an eloquence that is nothing short of mesmerizing.

The interest ENFJs have in others is genuine, almost to a fault – when they believe in someone, they can become too involved in the other person’s problems, place too much trust in them. Luckily, this trust tends to be a self-fulfilling prophesy, as ENFJs’ altruism and authenticity inspire those they care about to become better themselves. But if they aren’t careful, they can overextend their optimism, sometimes pushing others further than they’re ready or willing to go.

ENFJs are genuine, caring people who talk the talk and walk the walk, and nothing makes them happier than leading the charge, uniting and motivating their team with infectious enthusiasm. ENFJs are passionate altruists, sometimes even to a fault, and they are unlikely to be afraid to take the slings and arrows while standing up for the people and ideas they believe in. It is no wonder that many famous ENFJs are US Presidents – this personality type wants to lead the way to a brighter future.

Family › Re: Adichie’s Feminism: Vacuums And Fallacies By A. Gonzaga by 5minsmadness: 3:06pm On Jul 30, 2014
As a people who initiated feminism and have finally arrived at the journey’s final destination—a state of existence completely unimaginable to the likes of Adichie—this is how we live as Scandinavians:

1. There is no chivalry left in the land. Men open doors for themselves. Women open for themselves. Anything other than that is foreign and the exception, not the rule.

2. Men pay their bills. Women pay theirs. A couple visits a café, the man pays for his coffee and the lady pays for hers. Anything other than that is foreign and the exception, not the rule.

3. Men do not compliment women. Instead, because men and women are engaged in an eternal battle for equality, each party expects to be complimented. Anything other than that is foreign and the exception, not the rule.

4. Like the French and the Germans jointly told Britain when that island nation pushed to renegotiate its EU membership conditions: The European Union as an organisation isn’t an à la carte setting where one enters and decides what to take and what to omit. You either are fully in, or fully out. Put differently: there’s no such thing as cherry picking when attempting to adopt feminism. You can’t say ‘I want that aspect of it, but not the other one’. It is and will always be a chain of realities—imperceptibly linked—and once you try securing an element, be sure to welcome the rest which will inevitably follow.

5. We Scandinavians have championed the feminist cause since time immemorial. Still, our women over here have yet to invent anything beyond roadside hair salons. The national innovation coffers are accessible to both sexes equally. But it’s the men who continue to invent and innovate and help this region maintain its spot as the leading innovator globally. That’s to say that there is no proof that feminism could turn women into the world’s top inventors of things and founders of top companies. The reality in Finland, after one hundred years of feminism and equal opportunities, is that men alone still found the major companies whose taxes take care of the nation, and when such firms employ women it isn’t purely for their skills but also for the sake of diversity.

6. Unfortunate rivalry or war between the sexes is big in our homes and workplaces.

7. Our families are often broken and passionate love is now foreign or the exception.

8. It’s not uncommon for our children to be victimised by battling parents, and for them to be eventually raised by the government.

9. We no longer make enough offspring to perpetuate our civilisation.

10. And finally: there is little to zero love, kindness, and humaneness left around here. We seem to have stifled all of it with the warring energy we’ve been emitting for the past hundred years. This was the reason nobody thought it necessary to assist Adichie in carrying her bags in Sweden.

Final Moments.

She was tired of crying now. All she could do was walk towards the school gates and wait for the inevitable. They had threatened to kill her family if she didn't go. And so she approached the gates, crowded with people and securitymen. She looked at their faces as she approached, innocent faces, faces of fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children. Were they not as important to others as her family was to her? Would she trade her sorrow for the sorrow she would bring upon them?

The security man saw her coming and approached her.He smiled.

"What can I do for you miss?"

It was then she made her decision. She turned and ran, ran as fast as she could for a deserted spot. The security man called after her, not understanding, not knowing she had just saved his life.

And then the bomb went off.

She was the only casualty.

I've always used "as I said." But I'm seeing and hearing more and more people using "like I said." Which is correct? Or is it one of those phrases that are becoming more acceptable, like "You've got mail."

You shouldn't confuse written language with spoken language. The "grammars" are different. Writing has specific rules that were invented out of convention and necessity. This is one of the reasons why grammar confuses a lot of people. Many try to pin written grammar on spoken grammar and vice versa.
There is nothing grammatically incorrect with "like I said." Just as there isn't anything incorrect with splitting an infinitive, ending a sentence with a preposition, or using a double negative.

'As I said' is the more formal way of conveyance e.g when writing a letter to your boss. "Like I said" is used more in common parlance e.g when addressing free public like this one!

It is. What affects one of us eventually affects us all. Nigerians are yet to learn this.

If only it were this easy.
Do strippers, p.orn stars, and sex workers start their craft from childhood? Maybe they were trained that way by their moms huh? cheesy
It IS that easy.
Most children that have a solid moral foundation usually grow up morally sound. There may be a few deviants but they are in the minority. And besides you want to give your child a good moral headstart in this decadent world.

That child may end up a doctor, a lawyer, a journalist, or an engineer. I doubt she would have the time to dress like that.
Or the child may end up a prostitute, a thief or a porn star. A good upbringing will favour her chances for the better.

Shouldn't be anyone else's business at the end
of the day.
What is not your business today will definitely be your business tomorrow. Ask the Nigerian govt concerning Ebola virus.

For the space time continuum warping. Think of a mosquito net in 3D then imagine throwing a stone at it whilst assuming the mosquito net gives way as soon as the stone touches it but doesn't tear oo. It just keeps giving way at the front elastically while mending at the back of the stone. ice the separated strands glue back behind the stone sort of. I don't think I'm making sense sef embarassed

Nonso23: Does the speed of light vary around the universe?
No.

Alright let me see what I can do.
Can you create a system to operate in a vacuum. No friction, drag, air resistance, unsteady acceleration/velocity, etc these are the variables that make this theory sound a bit far fetched. Eliminating them will make this fictional model more relatable.

When this large train moves through space. it bend/ warps the space-time of the relatively larger body upon which it cruises. You being inside the train are now in a different space time continuum. A warped version of the earth's. Here time, distance and all other dependent and independent variables take a new value albeit a small deviation which increases as the speed of the train increases. 2kg measured in the train may weigh 2.2kg when you get off the train and measure it on ground. e.t.c. You may throw a stone off the train and count the time taken for it to land as 3 seconds. someone on the ground doing the same gets 4 seconds. And you both are using the same wristwatch and are also correct. Time measurement is not absolute.

The train becomes another earth to you and all you can do on earth wrt physics still hold true on the train.

If you have been on a ship you will understand.

Make sure your brown bread is whole grain (not multi grain)

Get old fashion oat meal and cook yourself (5-10mins to cook but healthy)
Bread, peanut butter and milk are enough for your breakfast.
A bowl of Kellogg cereal is enough also
Add cucumbers to your breakfast and banana as snack.

Your sausage is shinning (don't ever fry sausage in oil) just put is in a pot with water and let it cook and dries up.
