I wish the yorubas can do same for any of their political class anytime they enter America or the EU.

Many immigrants wish to live in Nigeria close to their culture and family, but these politicians have turned the country to a shithole.
Something that Yorubas have been doing since the reign of Alafin Aole, they did it to Gaha, it happened to oba Olayode the former soun of Ogbomosho.
Have you not heard of wetie, why do you think the SW is called the " wild wild west "?.
We don't just beat them up, we forced them out, what happened in Germany is just a dress rehearsal compare to what we do around here.
The people of Ife forced Ooni Sijuade to flee Ife, during the June twelve crisis in fact, when he did not return after several weeks, they named him " the Ooni of Ikeja ".
The people of Ekiti pursued Ewi of Ado out of his palace, for maltreating his wife, and made sure he never returned, he was eventually dethroned. He was lucky, the Ogbomosho people killed Oba Olayode grin grin grin.
The list is endless grin grin grin grin so you see we don't need to borrow such idea from IPOB, it is called mass insurrection and uprising, born out of endless frustration.
Yorubas have moved from jungle justice to the use of ballot, they will always rise to correct their erring leaders,
they are currently using the ballot to expel them, or did you not see what happened to MESU SARAKONDA?, Fayose and Ajimobi?.

The Igbo political elites don't hate Tinubu. His thirst for power and the way he used the Oba of Lagos in the 2015 Gubernatorial elections to threaten Ndigbo brought that skepticism.
If the APC presents an Igbo consensus candidate, the SE/SS in the PDP will drop the idea of supporting a northerner. Wike and his associates in the PDP are not fools to gift the north another 4 years when they've ruled for 8 years already.
The SW cannot eat her cake and have it. Tinubu is coming out when others haven't tasted it. The SW have ruled for 8 years, they've had VP positions twice and Speaker thrice.
So on what ground are you jostling for Presidency this time around, when it was the same sympathetic cause you were gifted the Presidency in 1999.
Why not collect your Ticket from PDP?

Obj scored 18,738154 against falae 11,110287 in the 1999 election.

Igbo total votes for the winner obj was 2,307712 votes in all east states

Now subtract 2,307712 votes from obj 18,738154 obj still has 16,430442 votes.

Regarding the southern unity igbos gave olu falae 978,999 in all igbo states add that to obj 2,307712 it sums up 3,286709 total votes from Igbo land and obj would have still won comfortably had that 3m votes been given to ekwueme.

This is what led to the coup.

Funny how the same Fulanis then switched the tables round to accuse the Igbos of trying to dominate Nigeria while they had been doing the same exact thing since 1960!
grin, grin, grin What were the Igbos doing in the civil service of the north, even after the exit of the British?.
Igbos keep replacing one Igbo civil servant with another, or have you guys not heard?.
Amodu Bello spoke against it and he was labelled an Igbo hater, was it not the same reason why AKINTOLA had to die?, he only asked a simple question, HOW can Yorubas be employed as gardner's and cleaners only, at the University of Ibadan?, are there no Yorubas that can qualify as an ordinary clerk?
Is this not the same reason, why your people are organizing o to ge, for Tinubu in Lagos.

Tinubu can never become President of Nigeria, you can bookmark this thread.

If Tinubu wants to become President before he dies, he should work hard and let Nigeria divide peacefully so he can become President of Oduduwa nation or maybe he should work for Nigeria to restructure into independent Regional nations united by one big umbrella called Nigeria, and then he can become the Prime Minister of Southwestern region.

A drug lord, a greedy looting machine that converted Lagos to his family property, a ritualist who worships all sorts of voodoo he uses to hold his Yoruba people under siege can never be the President of a united Nigeria.

Buhari became the President by mistake, remember he contested more than 3 times before he mistakenly won, that mistake will never occur again, and if at all, Tinubu should be ready to keep contesting for at least 4 times before he can have a near chance, and by then he should be in his 90s.

Osinbajo stands a better chance of becoming Nigeria's President than the corrupt, voodoo worshipping drug lord of Bourdillion!!
Yawns, anyway why should Tinubu divide it when he can have it all.

Animals like you will spew so much hate about Yorubas on the internet then turn around and accuse Yoruba of hatred for Igbos. How does the Yoruba side the north to power?

Who aligned with balewa for a figurehead president?

Who voted Shagari over Awolowo for a vp position?

Who was supporting Babangida when he cancelled the 1993 election?

Who was organizing a one million march for abacha to perpetuate himself in power?

Now tell me again how the Yoruba are aiding the north to power.

So because the south west voted Buhari you are turning history on its head?

You Igbos with so much hatred in your heart for the Yoruba will always talk nonsense without facts. You are bitter because you are out of power. Igbos always cause problems anytime they lose out of power. Ojukwu fought for Biafra because Igbos lost out of power because of their greed. Kanu is agitating because Igbos lost out of power.

We do not see your Biafra agitation as genuine. You should have been shouting for Biafra under Jonathan maybe we would have taken you serious.

Their mumu NEVER do, they think if they sweep all their atrocious contribution under the carpet, everyone will believe them.
grin, grin, grin I said it before and I will say it again, unapologetically that Igbos are the ones who destroyed this country.
The records of their nepotism is still there at the University of of Ibadan, in fact Akintola had to die because he challenged such nonsense.
They did the same thing in the North, they were employed by the colonial masters as public administrators in the North, instead of training the people, they were going to the East to recruit new staffs, now you know why Amadu Bello had to die.
As long as you will not submit yourself and your people for plundering, you are their enemy.
Unfortunately for them eye don open, everybody don wise up.
Did you see how they abandoned SE to come and shout Tinubu o to get in Lagos?, they call him a thief.
Awo was a labeled tribalist for stopping a disaster, like an Igbo man becoming the premier of SW.
Yorubas were labeled cowards for not succumbing to annexation of Yorubaland.

Wow!! Great piece of history. shocked It needs to be documented in books, and relayed through films. Balogun Agoro should be given his rightful place, in history.

In fact, further reading about the bombardment of Lagos in 1851, shows that the expedition launched by the British Naval forces under Commander Forbes, was an attack party made up of 306 officers, men, marines and sailors aboard HMS Bloodhound along with 21 boats. undecided

Kosoko was able to hold his ground and repel them. By the time the British forces came back a 2nd time in December 1851, they had reinforced their attack party, with 3 more armed boats. Yet, Kosoko was still able to hold them at bay for 3 fierce days, before his army caved in. That battle is referred to as "Ogun Ahoyaya/Ogun Agidingbi" (I hope I got the spelling right).

Wey my zobo? Na on top this thread I go match brake today. cheesy cool

I am waiting for those Yoruba guys to give you a befitting response, because this post you made up here shows that you are a very poor student of history.... undecided

If you had read about the battle for Lagos in 1851, you would see how Oba Kosoko held his turf against the British Royal Navy led by Commander Forbes in November that year. Kosoko successfully repelled the attacks launched by the British that November.

The British regrouped and launched a second attack the following month using superior fire power. They were able to overpower Kosoko's forces because they now had 3 gun boats and more ammunition. The battle was fierce and lasted for 3 days, but the British suffered heavy casualties in the process, before they could overpower Kosoko's forces.
One of King Kosoko's defense cheif was my mother's great grandfather, he is called Balogun Agoro Iposun.
The British exiled Kosoko to Epe after the war, Kosoko and Balogun Agoro went to stay in Epe.
The Balogun was the one who stopped the Ijaws and the Mahins from annexing Epe.
The Ijaws too are great warriors, they have been attacking Epe from the waters, trying to annex the coastlines on that axis, but they met their Waterloo when they met Balogun Agoro Iposun, they were drowned at a place called ITEBU, that place is called eyin osa, at Ibeju Lekki are of Lagos State today.
The remaining Ijaw armies on water fled in their boats,
Balogun Agoro told his soldiers not to pursue them.
The Balogun told his soldiers that they cannot venture TOO DEEP into the water, because he had no idea of the size of the Ijaw army on the other side of the water.
And so they continue to wait for the agressors, to come back, having take charge of every other available route.
The Ijaws knows what awaits them in Epe, they NEVER return.
Go to Afero village today in Epe, you will see long WALL of sand that were used as defense formation, where guards were positioned, to keep eye on the invaders and quickly nip it in the bud.
Only intelligent people fight war like this, not some suicidal morrons, facing gun shots with cutlasses.
Thank you for taking them to history class, peace.
