Square peg in a round hole.
What does an officer from a corrupt organisation like the police know about national security? He didn't even get to the apex like IGP where you can say he was privy of information nationwide about security. The efcc job he was given was not even done well as he turned to an agent used by government to hound opposition politicians. Nuhu Ribadu does not worth that position.
The military is even MORE corrupt on an INDUSTRIAL scale… sad

Another square peg in a round hole angry

What exactly is a police officer doing in the office of the national security adviser?
What is his combatant experience?
What is his war experience?

grin grin

How will army Generals , Navy Rear- admirals and air force Air vice marshals honour a meeting summoned by a police officer?
grin grin grin

Modified
Ribadu lacks the knowledge, training, education & experience in domestic, foreign, & military policies related to national security.

Most of the directors and other senior staff of the NSA are military men, will ribadu dismiss them? or place them under his command as a civilian?
Ribadu is also politician who took part in the APC primaries in the last election, he still have his political ambitions intact and remains a politician....a card carrying member of the APC.

Fingers crossed
It’s a STRATEGIC role…
Not an OPERATIONS role.

The latter is already filled by the CDS and service chiefs…
The US, where we got the position from, had CIVILIANS like Susan Rice and Condoleeza Rice in the NSA role.

Kaduna Refinery was commissioned in 1980 (under Shagari administration)…
While the new Port Harcourt Refinery was commissioned in 1989 (old one in 1965).

What Buhari was (in)famous for as Federal Commissioner for Petroleum…
Was the reported “missing N2.8 billion” (then about $5 billion) at the NNPC.

Furthermore, as sole administrator of the PTF under Abacha…
Buhari refused to allow for TRANSPARENCY and publish the PTF accounts.

The notion of Buhari as a “clean” leader/politician is a SCAM!

There’s absolutely NOTHING “norm” about ONE legislator having 35 aides…
The Speaker is merely the first among EQUAL legislators, he’s not an elected executive who needs a cabinet.

It’s said that no one can ride on your back unless you’re bent over…
Sadly, too many Nigerians appear too eager to bend over and grab their ankles for rapacious politicians/rulers.

Sometimes those who have degrees in Agriculture Economics are underrated, thinking they can't run or head CBN.

Nigerians are like the Chinese of Africa but beyond travelling to prosper in many countries of the world, we want resemblance in industrial revolution even if we start with imitation of quality industrial products..... Utilizing appropriately the agricultural foodchain with proper security will make Nigeria self sufficient in many ways and where we have tried but not enough capacity in that endeavor, comparative advantage comes in with others especially other African countries, a WIN- WIN situation for all.... With enough ground work for this entrepreneurial bank, there are some things we will have alternatives for just as we do for many items in Nigeria which will even come cheaper including food eg bread, rice varieties.

People can also be grouped to take loans to operate, this may work better instead of one individual who may feel it is a personal gift. Nigerians in diaspora can make up the number for foreign investors only if there is a conducive environment.

Anything to make Nigeria better.
Agricultural economists usually cannot…
Because the CBN deals with MONETARY policy, not the fiscal policies (including agricultural financing) that Emefiele pursued.

As for people being “grouped to take loans to operate”…
We already have that in Nigeria - they’re known as COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES, and there are about 300K with over 30m members.

Thank you Dr Adesina for your support and patriotism. We will never forget.

Thank God for the wisdom of President Buhari for putting one in AfDB and another at WTO, it's to ensure we don't lose on both sides.

Luckily, it is the one with the real money, power and clout that is the Omoluabi who remembered his fatherland Nigeria. The other seems like a puppet in the hands and clout of few minority of people who hate Asiwaju Tinubu and Nigeria.

This assurance and proposed investments in Nigeria is HUGE!! Thank you AfDB.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you will succeed phenomenally to the shame of all the unpatriotic elements. For your hardwork, dedication and patriotism, well done sir. E ku ise takun takun sir.

God bless Nigeria for ever!

Abegi, the DULL-ARD OF DAURA did not “put” anyone in the AfDB…
Akinwumi Adesina was elected AfDB President in May 2015 BEFORE Buhari assumed office.

Meanwhile, YOU seem to be struggling to differentiate between a bank and a trade REGULATORY organization…
But suffice to note that Okonjo-Iweala, as director of GAVI, has brought millions in vaccines and health projects to Nigeria!

Ok, turns out the headline and opening paragraphs were MISLEADING….

The court did NOT order a stop to “further demolition of property in the state”…

If it effects you or someone very close to you, you would not say this rubbish someone means of survival has just been taken away from him/her
Some Nigerians and tortured logic…
So people are free to do any and all things for “survival”?

Perhaps, we should (eg) ignore folks selling dodgy drugs or driving unroadworthy buses for “survival”…
Anyway, demolishing the buildings shouldn’t deny them compensation if the land was not ILLEGALLY acquired.

Ultimately, governance should be for the COMMON GOOD or the good of the MANY, and not for the benefit of few and select (or for the connected). For instance, if/when government provides tap water or electricity, the “survival” of those selling water in tankers or those selling/repairing generators would have “just been taken away from him/her”, do you think government should not be providing portable water or electricity?! Sadly, some of the proffered logic here betrays why Nigeria is a nation of ANYHOWNESS! SMDH
