If Ned wills any property to her it is a done deal. Ask Bianca.
Bianca was married to Ojukwu for about 20 years and they had 3 kids, yet she had inheritance issues...
When/if Regina puts in that sort of time, then she deserves every penny that she would have coming to her.

But I can see the charges clearly
And does it say on the charge sheet filed before the court that he was arrested for the content of his music? shocked

We are only seeing a tiny sliver of the entire charge sheet in this news report/press statement, but even the official charge sheet filed before a court would not necessarily set out the basis for his arrest. For that, you would likely have to see the warrant of arrest.

Alright. Let’s solve this once and for all.

Probable cause:
reasonable grounds (for making a search, pressing a charge, etc.).
"warrants allow police to detain people, but not handcuff and search them without probable cause"

What could have been probable cause in his cause? Suspicion based on music?

Also the charges? The cards are not his but we’re found on his computer. He can’t do time for this. Unless they just wanna scapegoat him for media sake (which is unjust)
Without being privy to the arrest warrant, you are simply making assumptions...

Trumped up charges. With a good lawyer, he’s as good as free. They have charged him in the media and painted the whole process as a publicity charade. Can’t remember the last time ‘music’ passed as a probable cause to arrest an individual on suspicion of fraud. After all he’s not the first to use music to glorify crimes and vices in Nigeria. Too many individuals are stealing the country dry, tarnishing it’s image and getting away with it.

Using Naira Marley as a scapegoat is not a deterrence against Internet Fraud but an ATTACK on FREE SPEECH. The message is not to stop yahoo but to scare those who want to sing/joke and be comical about it.

I don’t condone it. It is terrible for the country's image BUT again SPEECH should never be probable cause.

His music sucks by the way.
He’s not being charged for what he SAID but for what he (allegedly) DID!

BusinessRe: Cement Company Of Northern Nigeria Declares N16.89 Billion Revenue In Q1 2019 by 9jaRealist: 3:59pm On May 16, 2019
fabianiyobosa:
Northern Nigeria? Not of Nigeria. So we can also have Southern Nigerian Petroleum Cooperation (SNPC) and not Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation. We are not one in this country.
It was set up in the 1960s (well before any of us here were likely born cheesy) by the regional government of Northern Nigeria, at about the same time the Western and Eastern regional governments set up WAPCO and Nigercem, respectively, and hence the name. It is however a publicly-listed and publicly-traded company on the Nigeria Stock Exchange, so any Nigerian (or even foreigner) can buy equity and become part-owner.

Note that it's a private company bro.

Founded and formerly owned by a consortium of Northern states, but acquired by Abdulsamad Rabiu and his BUA Group.

So a Southerner can acquire Ibile Oil from LASG and name it SNPC like you have suggested.

Most important thing is for Nigeria's economy to win from whatever we do.
Also, it NOT a private company...
Rather, it’s a publicly-listed and traded company on the NSE (that is now majority-owned by the BUA Group).

Actually, it was set up by Ahmadu Bello’s Northern Nigeria regional government in partnership with the German cement giant Heidelberg.

Back in those (even before our fathers’ generation), each region set up an investment holding company to incorporate/invest in subsidiary operating companies - Western Nigeria Development Company (WNDC, later IICC and currently Odua Investment) for the Western Region (Wema Bank, National Bank, Wemabod, WAPCo, Airport Hotel, etc), Eastern Nigeria Development Company (ACB, Golden Guinea, Nigercem Nkalagu, Aba Textiles, etc.), and Northern Nigeria Development Company (CCNN, Bank of the North, Arewa Textiles, etc.).

Looks impressive.
Since it's northern owned, they wont kill it for Dangote.
It was already “dead” like Nkalagu and BCC Gboko before Obasanjo’s privatization and its sale to BUA Group...
BUA Group resurrected and modernize it, just as Dangote did with BCC Gboko, while Ibeto was still fighting his kinsmen over Nkalagu.

In fact, you can add Calabar Cement Company, which was sold to Flour Mills/Holcim, who resurrected/upgraded it...
As well as Edo Cement Company in Odu-Okpella that was privatized/sold to BUA Group that upgraded/quadrupled its capacity.

Alcacer47:
bros, oil dey your head, I have been to Benin republic severally and I can relate, very law abiding people unlike Nigerians. On the other hand, the solution about the meters is there for all to see just like u stated but the discos ain't ready. Liken their case to reaping where u didn't sow.
The discos want to make quick profits but don't want to invest money in buying meters or general expansion of their base for the long term gain hence their preference for estimated bills...I"ll blame Gej for our electricity woes not because he sold the discos but for selling to incompetent hands, wats worth doing is worth doing well. how du expect me to buy one meter for 67k and still pay my bills..the discos especially ibedc and bedc have failed woefully, the only solution is to terminate their contracts and give licenses to serious minded investors with strong policies to put them in check
And why do you think the “serious-minded investors” did not come in the first place?
Let’s keep fooling ourselves that we can cap prices at N30 kw/h for electricity produced at an average of N50 kw/h and have a viable sector.

Nigerians have unfortunately made a habit of losing sight of the forest for the trees, and thus many Nigerians would resist paying for even marginally higher tariffs but yet spend so much more on generators (and fuel), not to mention the opportunity costs of losing lots of money if (for instance) you are a tailor, a barber, a welder, vulcanizer, etc., who has no generator and thus cannot work for several hours of each working day, or the madam with the kiosk or corner shop whose potential customers will not buy that drink (or extra bottle) because it’s not refrigerated enough. Sadly, with a “kobo wise, Naira foolish” mindset we keep moaning for getting exactly what we pay (or rather, not pay) for.

Meanwhile, a misapprehension held by many public commentators in Nigeria is that the DISCOs should have been sold to “technical” investors, which is RUBBISH! Investment merely requires capital, and across the globe most investors (even Warren Buffer) simply bring capital (ie, money) to the table. Of course it’s necessary that the managers of the company be competent and/or technical, but the investors themselves do not need to know jack about the technicalities of electricity supply. For example, Mike Adenuga was not a telecommunications expert prior to getting a GSM license and setting up Globacom. The electricity problem in Nigeria is regulatory/systemic, not technical.

Two lines struck me in this letter...

(1) “Naira Marley....has turned his back on crime” (does this mean he used to have his ‘front’ in crime?); and
(2) “Naira Marley was found with an item that does not belong to him” (what incriminating evidence was in the item?).

Of course everyone is presumed INNOCENT until proven guilty...
But it appears that there is a basis for his arrest and investigation.

How does demolishing a wore house amount to being an uncivilized country?

And by the way, I don't back the demolition just because religion . I back it because it was located in a residential area, and because women are not men's intimacy gadgets.

Sorry to disappoint you...but I am religious. Yes. I am happy to be so. I am happy that my religiosity teaches me to respect women, not to look down on them, and to always treat them right.

And I am glad to be religious.
Demolishing a structurally-sound building that can be put to so many other uses, especially in a country that has a severe housing deficit is DUMB and frankly UNCIVILIZED! Unfortunately, one reason zoo animals exist relatively contently is not realizing they inhabit a zoo.

Btw, if you really respect women, you allow them to make their own choices. Illogical FUNDAMENTALISTS!

So, you would support your sister or wife dancing there at night, eh?

So, being civilized means dancing naked eh??

You live in a zoo...since it is in a zoo that animals dance naked. Most Nigerians live in a civilized zone, where we dress decently, and where women dream of being gainfully employed, not being some erotic slave girl.
Meanwhile, please don’t make me laugh.

ALL Nigerians live in a country where people are routinely killed and blown up over religious beliefs, people are regularly lynched on the streets, politicians hire thugs to kill people during elections, little children are chained, starved and tortured for being “witches”, people are routinely slaughtered, dismembered and their body parts harvested for rituals, herdsmen slaughter entire populations because they believe cattle is worth more than their fellow humans, young men run around stealing used female undergarments for ritual purposes, quasi-slavery and indentured servitude (characterized by routine sex and physical abuse) persist under the guise of “house-helps”, millions of children are out of school and begging on the streets in the name of religion, among so many others - but you think our greatest problem and what separates the supposedly “civilized” from the “uncivilized” is women dancing PRIVATELY inside a PRIVATE establishment?! Why? Is it by force to go to a strip club or are they coming to your house to strip?! shocked

If you are looking for “criminal hideouts” start with Kano Government House and the Babanriga banking in full display there (and probably every other Government House) and government buildings and offices across this land? Go to the airport, customs’ buildings, etc., etc. Funny how government officials steal, kill, cheat, lie, etc., but when it comes to stripping they form holier than Christ and Mohammed. SMH
