If they can think deep down I'm sure they will see reasons why guys ain't taking them serious, I was dated a girl which I thought I would have got married to but unfortunately she wasn't giving me the qualities I need in a woman.
I'm the type that loves slim women but she later started getting fat I have called her several times talk to her about it she wouldn't listen I just have to let her go weather you like it or not guys have something that attract them to a woman when the woman stop doing those things thats when the problem comes,
It might be as little as u think it is but there's more to it.
Study your man know what he wants talk to him and have a concrete agreement
My opinion smiley
Seriously how old are you? Can you guarantee if you marry a slim girl now that in 10 to 15 years she won't get fat? Out of all the qualities of a good woman, weight is only your concern? SMH

naija2dabone:
Dear Buhari,

Congratulation once again for your victory at the polls.

Now to the point of this letter: You have got 4 years to keep ALL your campaign promises and your time starts May 29 at 00hrs. Please note that we will not tolerate any form of excuses for non performance as nobody forced you to make those promises. We were told that you are a man of your words, so please in your own best interest, keep your words.

We are not asking for heaven on earth, no. We are simple asking that you deliver on YOUR promises:

4 refineries
40mw of electricity
Naira = dollars
N5,000 for unemployed
One year allowance for corp members
Free qualitative education
Fight against corruption, (not selective fight please)
and many more.

Please dont come asking for more time because we dont have the luxury of more time. Dont tell us to be patient, because if we wanted to be patient, Jonathan would have been our perfect man. Dont tell us past leader destroyed the economy because you were one of them. Just get to work and get us result. If you cant deliver, now is the time throw in the towel.

Be guided

Voter
I've never seen a politician able to keep 100% of the campaign promises, if Buhari fulfills half of the bold items above, Nigerians should be very pleased!

Bro first of all I am not blaming the man for his own death, I am only saying this for those of us still alive...we must learn.

Staying alive is the number rule in life...if u die ur dead it doesn't matter whose right or wrong.

The police didn't stop him from watching out for oncoming vehicles...afterall the police men were able to escape. You can't just lose ur life and say " na police cause am" it doesn't work that way...you protect what u've got.
I agree and at the same time slightly disagree, we can't get the full picture of what happened unless we were there. He might have not had enough time to escape, he might still be at a state of shock but no matter what the police should know better. It's a huge shame that we live in such a crazy country!

If the police ask you to jump in front of a moving train will you? No.

If he had insisted on parking properly they would have let him.

Ur life is ur responsibility...it doesn't matter who is right or wrong, u just have to stay alive...we can blame the police for all we like. Yet, Those policemen may just get away with this but the man is dead.
Did you even read the article at all? He was threatened with a gun, most people when facing a gun become very weak and will obey any command given to them. It is the job of the police to know better, if the police had adequate training this might have been prevented. Shame on you, blaming a civilian for the irresponsible actions of our law enforcement!

You answered your own dim witted question.
If average life span in Nigeria is 55, it doesn't take a genius to know Buhari's now living on borrowed time at 73.

What cave of a state do you reside where young men die before old people?
The cave I live in must be way more fancier than the sh*t hole you stay in, if not you would have realized death is no respecter of age or status! Buhari is 73 yet looks stronger than half the youths we have in the society today. I don't know your age but there's no guarantee that you would even reach that benchmark of 55, go and track down most of your friends from 10, 15 years ago and tell me how many have passed away, it's not by age you douchebag and certainly not by might!

It was an accident... Don't blame the police, if they had found bombs in his boot we would have applauded them...

An American police would stop a black american citizen, shoot him, then place a gun beside him saying it was in self defence.

The Nigerian police is ur friend, no matter what you think, without them our society would be a worse place to live in....you will never know till they save ur asss.

I prefer the nigerian police...atleast sometimes with just N20 I can pass.
Are you mentally challenged or did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? Stop and search is illegal in some parts of the country! Furthermore if you are going to do a stop and search then do it properly, allow the vehicle to pull over in a safe location and then conduct your search. In regards to your analogy using American cops, that's just plain dumb. Do you even know what racism means?

Stop reiterating your tired statement of "any one can die at any time", you forget age related diseases.

Do you expect to die before your parents, give me reasons if your answer is no.
Hey you, stop displaying your ignorance! What has expectation got to do with reality.

Expectation: Live long and healthy
Reality: Average life span of an African man is less than 55
Reality: In the year 2012-2014 more youths died in Nigeria than the previous 7 years combined.

A Buhari at 70 might be far more healthy than most youths of today with unhealthy eating habits, heavy drinking, drug use and so on!

Nigerians will see what they never expected for voting in Bahuri. Buhari is a Fulani man and there is nobody who does not know that the Fulanis love power and are ready to kill and destroy without looking back. Buhari is an Islamist. The Islamists are evil people. Read all their records and the activities of these people across the world. Buhari was a military head of state before. Now evaluate what you expect from these three groups and tell us how on earth can an individual who have passed through these groups to be normal being? Is there any individual who will tell us any military leader who have killed, jailed and destroyed MORE THAN Buhari in this country after independence? No body. Again, there no military who will out-numbered Buhari. It is this kind of person we are jibulating of because they have elected a satan. Just watch out.
Was not this Buhari who is not sworn into power but has given instruction that all journalist should use a particular uniform. He attempted to bar AIT but quickly withdraw after seeing the high degree of blames and protestes, as well as the ways things have turn out to be.
Show me one evidence that all Fulanis/Islamist are evil people, come on show me! Seeing that you've met all the Fulanis in the world or you know so much about Islam. Wise guys like you hide behind social media but when it comes to backing up your point in real life, you are nothing but a coward!
Family › Re: When Is It Justifiable To Beat A Woman? by abbey621(m): 12:42pm On May 07, 2015
Never say never, even the holiest of men are subjected to temptations. The truth is there are many situations in which a man can hit a woman either through provocation or insanity but just because you can do something does not mean you should. In a country like Nigeria, men reign supreme afterall in 80% of all marriages the man is the breadwinner. I can understand a slap or two when emotionally stressed or physically threatened but punches and choking that's just brutal. There are far better ways to deal with a woman than violence, it's all about knowledge and understanding. Which brings me to my final point, 99% of the time, if a woman behaves well, she won't get hit. From the write up by the OP, the husband is taking her designer bags and giving it to his siblings so she decided to be combative, did the OP bother to find out who bought those bags for her or who takes care of the bills in the house? Did the OP consider there might be more to the story than meets the eyes? I've dated a girl before who cheated on me and when I decided the relationship was over, I took back the brand new laptop I bought for her and phone, she became very upset, tore her clothes, punched herself and threatened to call the cops and accuse me of rape. Can you imagine? I know the lady is your friend but did you witness the confrontation between her and the husband or are you just going to take her word for it and become the judge and executioner? When they eventually settle how would you look in the eyes of the husband?
Romance › Re: Is It Apopriate For One To Place His GF On Monthly Allowances ?? by abbey621(m): 12:03pm On May 07, 2015
Young man listen up, listen very carefully! Giving a woman money does not mean you own her, giving her money does not mean you love her or that she won't cheat on you. From your write up I can tell that the money issue is weighing much on your mind, at your young age you shouldn't be carrying the responsibilities of the girl's parents, unless she's an orphan! Putting a girl on a monthly payroll is a terrible idea, even in marriage encourage her to get her own and not rely on your source of income, from your write up she's still very young and probably not as mature as she ought to be. Try doing this, give her 30k one month, the next month give her 10k, the next give her 30k and the next give her none. Watch her reaction each and every month, if she adjusts well then you'll know she truly loves you, if she raises hell and becomes aggressive then my broda cut her off, end the relationship right there, the worst thing a man needs in his life is a parasitic woman!

There's no hope for Nigerians, really most people in this country are sick! Look at useless comments up and down, none of you know the story behind the picture yet you are busy formulating your own theories. People can choose to renew their vows even after being married a couple of years, people can get back together after losing touch for some years, it's not about the situation but the message. If a man can do something like this for the mother of his child then it shows that the man is truly in love and we all know that a marriage with kids is a marriage well tested. It's freaking romantic and if you think otherwise then I suggest you check your heart and hope it's still beating.... MOFOS!

As long as the car owner has comprehensive coverage on his insurance policy then he's covered, he'll just be responsible for paying his deductible and the insurance company can pursue subrogation against the other insurance company or the mall owners. This would not be considered an act of God since there was no windstorm or other extenuating circumstances. It's imperative to take photos immediately and get a police report!
Romance › Re: Do You Ladies Ever Wished To Get Married To Virgin Males ? by abbey621(m): 8:40pm On May 01, 2015
Alright kids settle down, I see some of you need proper education here. Firstly, it is a well known fact that virgin guys are quick to ejaculate when they have sex the first time, this is true unless a virgin guy has been masturbating all his life in which case he is no longer a virgin. Furthermore, women are not known for patience when it comes to sex, it's either there's chemistry or none. This makes an inexperienced guy seem less attractive to them but to sum it up, it really depends on understanding. Forget the religious crap and the sentimental jargon, being a virgin does not make you weaker or stronger than non virgins and no one should ever feel guilty for having sex.
Romance › Re: She Calls HIM By Her Ex’s Name Even During Sex! by abbey621(m): 1:03pm On May 01, 2015
Mostly terrible advice so far. Majority of people here are of the mindset that the guy needs to put more effort. I beg to differ tho! When will guys realize that women are of feeble minds and that we men don't have to settle for crap! They operate on emotions, all the signs are there and yet the pathetic guy is still looking for miracles. The girl can never get over the guy and any attempt to make her will only result in pushing her over the edge. So choose between three options:

1: Cut your loss and move on to another girl.
2: Continue in your misery and hope she changes.
3: Stop believing all the crap she told you about her former relationship and do your own research. E.g. Facebook, friends, friends of the guy and so on. You'll discover that there's more to the story than meets the eyes!

PEACE OUT!!!!

Dang!!! so funny how you guys hide behind nature, tradition and culture.

The problem is that a whole lot of statements has been misinterpreted overtime. Obviously men differ from women. But give the right woman the required resources and support in her own zone and she will wow you. We have dumb women just as we have dumb men.
Errrrm, if u want to make a decision that affects both of you in a relationship, its common sense that you run it through the other person, except if u are in union with a zombie. Now, that doesn't mean you are always asking for her permission or something, it just means you acknowledge her as a significant part of that union. And if she disagrees, I belief its your duty to make her see reasons.

Please I need you to define a weak man and a strong man. Errrm no woman wants a whimp, neither does any man, that feeling is mutual. As u have put it, what a woman want is a caring and level headed man who can guide and not impose, who can protect them, since most male are physically stronger than most female folks. Nobody want a dictator or a mean man.

And as you know, not all women have embraced the idea of feminism/equality, also only few men have accepted the idea too, hence the judgement from the society.

Ok this last statement of yours is not only silly but shallow, especially from someone who claim to live in the western world. Even lesbians get married these days. I have met couple of normal people, both male and female who have no interest in getting married or haveing kids or even both.
I have nothing to pick against since most of your post deals with perception and since I don't know your background I can't disprove your analysis. However, the bold part is what concerns me, just because you've met them does not mean you know much about them. For every condition we are sure to have a few exceptions but majority of the case still agrees with my premise, a normal woman not bound by lesbianism or traumatic experience will 99% of the time opt for having a husband and/or children. You're also right, some lesbians and other homosexuals do dream about getting married and having kids, this only further strengthens my case that most women are interested in either being married, having kids or both.

Family › Re: Court Dissolves 3-year-old Marriage Over Wife’s Lack Of Vagina Opening by abbey621(m): 1:17pm On Apr 29, 2015
dridowu:
Abeokuta, April 29, 2015 (NAN) An Abeokuta Customary Court sitting in Ake on Wednesday dissolved a three-year-old marriage between Mr Femi Olayiwole and wife, Kemi, due to the absence of vagina, deceit and frequent fighting.

Olayiwole told the court that his wife deceived him to marry her knowing that she could not bear him a child.

He accused his wife, who had failed to appear in court after being summoned several times, of living a false life, frequent fighting and threatening his life.

“My wife had been deceiving me since we got married I have never seen her pass through menstruation. My wife does not have any vagina opening.

“Anytime I ask her for sex, she would give an excuse to back up her refusal. Meanwhile, we have been praying to God to give us children.

“My wife did not tell me anything about her condition before we got married, until February this year that she confessed to me that she had never experienced menstruation in her life.

“I thought she was lying, so I went to see her parents who told me it was true, and that they thought their daughter explained to me before we got married,” Olayiwole told the court.

He pleaded with the court’s president to dissolve his three-year-old marriage that had nothing to show for both now and in future.

The News Agency Nigeria reports that the defendant was absent in spite several summons by the court.

The court’s president, Mr, Olalekan Akande, dissolved the marriage, saying that both parties had made up their minds to part ways.

Akande said that both parties were free to remarry anybody of their choice, adding that the document of the marriage dissolution should be sent to Kemi
Look at the bold sentences and tell me this makes sense!

The man should be held for questioning and the woman found by all means, something ain't right about his story!
Family › Re: **Nigerian Men Who Are Scared Of Successful Women Possess Low Mentality** by abbey621(m): 12:06pm On Apr 29, 2015
DollyParton1:
That definition is flawed. A woman's success shouldn't depend on her marital status. Some women do not intend to get married. And as you know, success is relative. How will you term an unmarried woman unsuccessful if getting married or raising kids was never in her aim or purpose.
So you mean to say your manhood depends on only money? That's shallow!!!

The problem with men is that they wanna control their wives. Why will you wanna control your fellow human being? You want to determine your wife's behaviour, where she goes, who she rolls with and all. Its ok if you do that when u sense she is keeping a bad company or something. But can she do that to you too? Y'all just want a robot or something. You need to realize that the hunan race has evolved.

Respect is not a one sided thing, it should be reciprocal.
This is not about control but nature. Men and women were not created equals to think otherwise is to stay ignorant. Yes society has evolved, yes women should have a say in their relationship/marriage but to think all decisions must be 50/50 is just silly. Even here in the western world, women hate weak men, they want strong men, men that could guide them, protect them and be super caring. The biggest obstacle to your equality theory is other women, you women judge each other very harsh, women do somethings just to please their friends and are quick to go into depression when they feel embarrassed. Take Mariah Carey for example, she has everything, money, fame but was not complete until she found a strong guy by her side, even though it didn't work out she still gained acceptance in the society for being married, every normal women would like to be married, it's only the damaged ones that can say otherwise. Show me a 50 year old woman with no kids and no husband and I'll show you either a lesbian or a traumatized human being!
Family › Re: **Nigerian Men Who Are Scared Of Successful Women Possess Low Mentality** by abbey621(m): 1:49am On Apr 29, 2015
What exactly is a successful woman? A woman is only successful if she makes her own money, has a high status among peers and is still able to keep a happy home. Look at the bold words very carefully you'll notice men are not under such restrictions, a man is successful as long as he has money!

I'm surprised that the op is a man and yet able to write things like this on social media. The truth is men are not scared of successful women rather they are scared of the way success changes women. Whether it is Nigeria or abroad, money and power are most dangerous in the hands of a woman. Let me explain further:

1. Women are easily influenced by friends and peers
2. Women are highly emotional creatures, when angry or sad they are most vulnerable.
3.Women want attention at all times and when she dictates the money in the relationship, the man ceases to be a man.

Mix it all together with an atmosphere such as the USA or Europe where women run things and you have CHAOS! Men would stop caring in relationships, go after the successful women, exploit her and dump her for another woman who is submissive. In the Nigerian context, a man cannot truly claim to be successful if he does not provide for his family, men value opinions from the society and would have sleepless nights if we married someone with a dominant personality or someone uncontrollable. Now don't get me wrong we have some successful ladies that are submissive to their husbands but they are very rare, there's something about money that makes human beings go gaga.

If we can think deeply, we would realize the number one thing men want in women is RESPECT. However for women, the number one thing they want in men is for them to be men, to be the head and take charge!
