Mancala:U.S citizen in a Nigerian jail.......Good one, I needed a good laugh ![]() |
UnfairLife7:Yes and if it is not good enough for you, that's okay too.....Like I said, I'm not going to argue sentiments with you....PEACE! |
Zeezenho:Mumu because I stated the requirement? Now I see why they treat una like animals! |
UnfairLife7:My evidence is my grandfather who is a retired judge with hundreds of divorce/custody cases under his belt from the 1970s to the year 2004. My evidence is online through various scholarly articles and references. Unlike you, I pride myself in research. https://www.lawglobalhub.com/nigerian-cases-on-child-custody/ My evidence includes 3 uncles, several friends who went through nasty divorces in Nigeria. I won't even mention 2 personal lawyers and two siblings wo studied law. I don't need you to believe anything, I said what I said, if you have facts to counter it then present it otherwise, you can go kick rocks! |
Why am I not surprised? The same set of people running to ICC and NATO to come help them fight Nigerian government.....Mental patients ![]() |
UnfairLife7:There's a thing called stats, I suggest you look up child custody cases in Nigeria and do your analysis based on the research. I don't have time arguing sentiments! I never told you that men gets automatic custody, I only attested to the fact that majority of the cases seems to favor men when age and incapability are not factors......If you still don't understand......it's best you face front....No need for this back and forth! |
UnfairLife7:Where did I say men have automatic rights? I said vast majority of the cases favored men, this is the absolute truth let nobody deceive you! |
Villa12:What happens in situation where they are both capable and responsible? Cheating is not considered irresponsibility when it comes to child custody, ask your friendly neighborhood lawyer! I don't know the situation surrounding your neighbor, she could have connections, money or simply the man was incapable of raising the kids properly. I'm talking about the majority of cases not exceptions here, speak to experienced divorce lawyers in Nigeria ask them the percentage of child custody cases won by men compared to women, you'll discover the simple truth! |
Kobojunkie:We are talking about A, you're talking about B. I'm not here to argue nonsensical whataboutism! We are talking about situations where both parents are capable and willing to raise their child! |
UnfairLife7:I have 3 family members that are lawyers and have few friends including an uncle that have been through child custody divorce in Nigeria, keep shut and stick to topics within your knowledgebase! |
Villa12:You were misinformed! This is 9ja, women don't get the kids unless the man willingly let go or is fully incapable of their well-being. |
ChristineC:There's a process to become a candidate for an elected office in this country, there are regulatory bodies that certifies candidates, just because you're not content with the process does not make it wrong! If you feel the regulatory bodies did not do their jobs then you raise it up in court not some useless sentimental crap online. Even ordinary me, I've had a degree with clerical error, do you think any employer gives a damn? All educational background check from employer is done by calling or faxing the school to obtain evidence of attendance/graduation. They don't give a bleep about any clerical error and if you do then your fight is against the school not the student/candidate! I have never lost a job because of it for almost 15 years in America now, want to know why? Because advanced countries don't give a bleep about trivial issues such as clerical errors! They don't give a bleep because if a University confirms student attended or graduated, THAT'S THE F*CKING END OF IT.....Sorry if that's not good enough for you goofballs but it is what it is! |
ChristineC:Who are you? The authorities already have the certificate and cleared him, Atiku's beef is with the university not Tinubu directly and last I checked just because the university made a clerical error does not invalidate your certificate. Either way, you're grasping at straws. Unless the university is willing to come out and say that he never attended or graduated from the there, you are on a long thing! |
Zeezenho:Which law? In case you don't know na ordinary primary school certificate that's needed in order to be eligible to run for president. |
sucess001:Depends on how you ask......Are you resorting to insults, threats, bullying etc.? Are you constantly bombarding them with messages, phone calls etc.? Are you affecting their ability to go about their day in a normal way? |
Questionnaires:Don't bother with him, he'll keep repeating the same thing until you ignore him or concede....The guy is a mental case, zero substance, 100% nuisance ![]() |
As a man just know that abroad is set up against you, you can't WIN! Diversify your assets as quickly as possible, think about non traceable assets like crypto. Think about countries with zero treaty with European countries or USA. Put your money in those countries......Una wey dey wealthy and still living in 9ja, una no know wetin God do for you o ![]() |
SpartaOfLagos:Oh yes because Ajah area downwards was built by Jakande, V.I as we know it now was built by Jakande even Isale Eko where buses no fit run before Fashola was built by Jakande......Yes Tinubu didn't build Lagos, na your papa build Lagos, werey ![]() |
IfnobeGod20:Well sounds like this is an Atiku vs CSU issue and has nothing to do with Tinubu, either way I expect the court to squash it in due time ![]() |
discusant:When the U.S states public interest, it is not talking about Nigerians. In fact, it would rather protect its institutions than to protect the people in Nigeria......Know this and have peace! |
Mrtaye:It's from a realist perspective as an American! |
Antivirus92:Sweat ke? Na criminal case? ![]() |
discusant:Ask yourself this, you think CSU would contradict itself after they already came out and said he graduated from there? Tinubu is just using U.S privacy laws to frustrate Atiku, it's classic case of person wey big pass you fit do you anyhow ![]() |
I just dey laugh since, most of una don't know what they call privacy laws especially in a country like USA. Verification of academic records is different than requesting academic records to be released. The later requires the explicit approval by the student. Even if the U.S judge becomes sympathetic to Atiku's case, scope of documents must be established, they can't just release entire academic records ![]() |
UnfairLife7:Under 30 coming to VISIT America, especially single......Very suspicious....Majority of under 30 coming to visit have no intention of coming back. |
90% of those applying are not wise.....Here's the reason. Nigeria still has a better reputation than Mexico, Columbia and others but those people still get visa approval. Nigeria's problem is mainly volume, in terms of visa application, the U.S makes the most money from Nigeria than any other country even China and India. The U.S allocates a certain number of visas yearly, this number is strategically managed. Now let's talk about the people that are automatically placed at the highest possibility of rejection: 1. Men younger than 30, with no travel experience 2. Women with family members in the USA and no history of long career in Nigeria 3. Men over 40 with no family, no travel experience 4. Those that have been denied more than 3 times with no positive change in their situation How to boost your chance if you're financially buoyant? 1. Disvirgin your passport, travel to countries where visas are easy, build a history of traveling and be consistent. 2. It is better to be married with kids than to be single, single people are at the biggest risk of rejection. 3. If you work for a company and have tenured history, have them sponsor your trip. Company sponsored conferences and summits are among the highest approval categories. How to boost your chance if you're just managing? 1. Grab a cold drink use it wash down hot spicy turkey and jollof.......Take a deep breath and say.....Problem no dey finish ![]() |
wis3:Yet kissing alone, you know how many bacteria and germs you're exchanging......Dey play . The truth be say unless you're with a pig, the average germs no dey kill person, in fact it is what most of us used to build immunity, all the roadside corn, boli etc |
Hubeznigeria:Sentiments over logic.....Typical Nigerian....Shalom! |

I can guarantee you when it comes to international relations the federal government supersedes any State. There's no need to argue, just look at the hundreds of cases from yahoo boys and internet scams, who are the prosecutors? 99% of the time it would be a federal prosecutor that takes the lead. Moving on, I want to guarantee another point, U.S privacy law protects not only students like Tinubu but U.S institutions as well. Verification of academic records provides basic verification such as diploma, date of graduation and so on, it does not guarantee access to the things Atiku lawyers are asking.........Asking the university to provide diploma sample for every year in it's 44 year history so that they can compare it to Tinubu's is not only ridiculous but foolish! Asking them to provide reason a certain employee was hired and terminated is another comical gaffe. |
9jatriot:Did you read their response? Read it properly and you'll know the end game.....aka PRIVACY LAW! |
Hubeznigeria:Is Atiku a U.S resident or citizen? What makes you think he can compel U.S court to compel an American academic institution to release private data of a student? Even U.S citizens/residents need authorization from the student before such record can be released |
Mrtaye:Perjury by whom? Tinubu can only submit what the school gave him, so perjury by whom? Una wan sue the academic institution? ![]() |
