here is the screed work done instead of the over site concrete
summary of materials:

1. dngote cement 25bags N50,000
2. 3/8 sharp sand 2 trips
3. Workmanship sum N50,000
4. Water and other miscellaneous N2,000

Total (excluding sand ) = N102,000

10m depth is about 33feet. Considering there will be soakaway as deep as about 10 to 15 feet shouldn't the bore hole depth be more?

Also does one wheel barrow cost N15000? I thought it is more than that?

I was suspicious of this number when he called me some weeks ago about an uncompleted building he wanted me to do the finishing.

He started the conversation by asking me to send jobs i had done in the past, which i sent. after few days, he called me back asking if i can come to imo for site investigation, which i accepted.

After years of contemplating on why we(Africans) are underdeveloped, I had one conclusion.

We don't have a recorded history, no writings, only stale tales of our fore-fathers. No concrete evidence of our living before they(white men) came. Nothing to really boast about. We can't stand with our heads held high like the Chinese. We lack true heroes, no immortalised sculptures of great war lords (only sculptures of deities.)

No writing, no written language, thus nothing to really call our own.

Think about it..

what is the definition of we "AFRICANS"? i hate it when people make sweep generalization like this. Africans is a new name giving to people living in this large continent by Europeans, Africans should not only apply to theso called black poeple alone. Egyptians were Africans and have developed history when much of Europe were still in the dark age.

White is a superficial world used by racist light skin European to show superiority and much of the so called western civilization is less than 300 years ago. My question is what has the so called " white" been doing before then?

i think we have more than 45million lower middle to upper middle class.
if you can afford a rent in excess of 100k per annum,
if you can afford to feed confortbly, send your wards to school, afford a computer, pay bills, have disposable income etc. You are middle class.

I think the poverty rae not that bad here in Nigeria, the problem is with large infrastructure gab. Things like elctricity, pipe borne water, rail networks, more airports etc are the major problem

When you live in a country of 20million building defeciet per annum

Unemployment is a product of so many things. which are, lack of skills, poor education, lack socia emenities and corruption. Nigeria need millions of carpenters, brick layers, electricians, fabricators etc but, Nigerians dont really like these skills since its consider dirty.

It was in millions when I did the calculations. The precast is next better option than the regular concrete one. Precast is almost half the cost of the regular one.
